2002 Jaguar X-type Base Sedan 4-door 3.0l Awd Sunroof 5-speed Rare Find on 2040-cars
Windham, New Hampshire, United States
You are bidding on a used Jaguar 2002 X-Type 4-door sedan. This is a rare 5-speed vehicle in great shape! Exterior and interior are in decent condition considering the age. Minor rust in a couple spots shown in pictures. Interior leather is in great condition. All of the functions of the car do work with no check engine or any other lights on. The only other minor issues would be radio doesn't get very loud and the gas gauge doesn't work properly. There is hardly noticeable crack in the interior wood panel in front of front passenger side to drivers side. Rarely do the brakes make a noise but they do. Engine sounds GREAT. It does have a current NH inspection sticker and is my daily car. Since it is my daily car it will have more miles then currently shown. I am the second car owner and I have all the paper work of when the car was serviced which by the way was only at the DEALERSHIP! I have only owned the car for a few months with only needing to change fluids. I am only selling the car because I need a truck for one of my jobs. It is a used car and all sells are final. A $500 non-refundable deposit is dues within 48hrs of the end of the auction. The remainder is to be done by either paypal, cash,or check. If the buy it now option is used I will pay for shipping! Overall car is in great condition ready to drive with very minor issues that would need to be resolved.

Which is hotter, Lana Del Rey or the Jaguar F-Type?
Fri, 15 Feb 2013Lana Del Rey's "Burning Desire" video, the first musical collaboration between Jaguar and its hired songstress, is half music video, half long-form lifestyle commercial for the 2014 F-Type. If you like Del Rey channeling glamorous fifties fame as she lays down vocals of sensuous, languid dolor over images of black-and-white yesteryears, you'll like this song off of her new EP, Paradise.
We think the appearance of a red and brand-new Jaguar, though, is incongruous - either Del Rey or Jaguar is the anachronism, take your pic. That's not to say it's not beautiful, however, so enjoy the combination in the video below.
Jaguar XFR-S pitted against Mercedes E63 AMG
Wed, 21 Aug 2013It was Steve Sutcliffe at Autocar who got the tough job of comparing the Mercedes-Benz E63 AMG to the limited edition Jaguar XFR-S on the track and sheep-strewn British B-roads. In UK spec both Mephistophelean sedans wrangle the same 542 horsepower, but step out of the corral and things look to weigh heavily in the Mercedes' favor: it has more torque, it's lighter, it's quicker from 0-to-60 and it's less expensive.
But that's on paper. Sutcliffe was given the job to see what effect all those letters and numbers had on the real-world driving experience. One of them is "an absolute hoot at the track" with great steering and weight management, one is "magnificent." To find out which is which, watch the video below.
