1967 Jaguar 3.8 S on 2040-cars

This is a VERY RARE 1967 Jaguar 3.8S that had been barn stored since the mid 90's. I acquired it last year and since then I've replaced all fluids after much flushing and cleaning. I replaced the brake master cylinder and the battery, cleaned the carbs and the fuel system. It now runs and drives. The interior is not perfect but everything is there and works and it's in pretty nice condition for being 47 years old. It has the wire wheels and comes with the mallet to remove them. The tool kit is complete in the trunk but the original jack is missing. I've included a picture with the production numbers from each year, which in 1967 was 362 total, including 136 that were right hand drive. The car deserves so much more than I am able to offer. I'm selling it as is.

2014 Jaguar F-Type, Project 7 Concept snarl in Jay Leno's Garage
Mon, 14 Oct 2013Jay Leno gets to drive a lot of nice cars, and the Jaguar F-Type V8 S he pilots in the latest episode of Jay Leno's Garage is no exception. Eric Johnson, vice president of Jaguar Western Region brought the car to Leno's garage, which impresses the comedian with its 5.0-liter V8 that makes 495 horsepower, 460 pound-feet of torque and a muscle car-like roar.
But there's a surprise this episode: Leno secured a drive in the Project 7 Concept at Pebble Beach this year, and the experience was caught on video. Based on the F-Type, the Project 7 is a functional concept car that nods to Jaguar's seven wins at Le Mans and features bespoke styling cues, a special exhaust system and, perhaps most importantly, 50 more horsepower from the supercharged V8.

But, there are some things you might not know or might have missed about the new Charger and Challenger Hellcats. For starters, reports that the Hellcat production would be limited to a low volume are not true.
"We have not capped the Hellcat on either the Challenger or the Charger," Dodge CEO Tim Kuniskis said.
Jaguar hints at what might become of XK after F-Type's arrival
Wed, 02 Jan 2013Jaguar may move the company's XK further upmarket following the introduction of its forthcoming F-Type. The newcomer to the range easily shoulders the burden of carrying the Jaguar sportscar mantle, freeing up the XK to evolve in another direction. While speaking with Autocar, Jaguar Design Director Ian Callum said there's an opportunity to grow the grand tourer both in size and luxury.
Whether that means the vehicle will retain its two-plus-two seating configuration or swell to offer buyers even more space remains to be seen. Either way, the future will likely see the XK soften its claws moving forward. And that's no bad thing. Jaguar has a long history of building luxurious grand tourers more content to soak up miles of highway than bounce from apex to apex.
What else is in store for the brand? Callum seems to have kept his cards close to his chest, refusing to acknowledge ongoing rumors of a Jaguar crossover beyond saying the brand "had to take notice" of the popularity of the luxury SUV market.
