2001 JAGUAR S-TYPE 4.0




I am pleased to offer an exceptional 2001 Jaguar S-Type 4.0 liter V8 with just 92000 miles. Finished in beautiful Seafoam Green this Jaguar appears to be totally original. I found one ding behind the right rear view mirror and thats it. Aside from some minute stone chips this Jaguar looks new. Inside is the beautiful Ivory leather that has been maintained with loving care. The wood is beautiful and there is no damage to be found. This Jaguar has never been smoked in. I might add that this Jaguar has an accident free Carfax. The lights and lenses are free of any cracks or broken pieces. The windshield is free of any stone chips or cracks. The alloy wheels are clean with virtually no curb rash. Special equipment includes dual power seats, premium sound package with 6 disc CD changer including the cartridge, power glass moonroof, cold weather package including heated seats and more. This Jaguar will come to you with 2 keys and both remotes, factory books and of course the Carfax. This is a wonderful car and one that is far nicer than what you see in this price range. KY bidders will add 6% usage tax and $199 transfer/doc fees. Out of state residents will add $128 to cover title fees, mailing costs, temporary tags, etc. Contact to be made by winning bidder within business 24 hours and a minimum partial payment to be made within 72 hours of auction end. The partial payment is non-refundable, unless we fail to deliver the goods as described. Balance will be due within 7 business days of the close of the auction. Any exceptions to be worked out before the completion of the sale. Auctions ending on a Friday or holiday will be addressed the follow business day. We will be happy to assist the new owner in arranging transportation from our nearby airport, Lexington Bluegrass Field, at no extra charge.

Jaguar ousts Lexus from atop J.D. Power 2013 Sales Satisfaction Index

Jaguar has taken the top spot among luxury brands in the 2013 Sales Satisfaction Index, an annual survey conducted by J.D. Power that measures customer satisfaction with the experience of purchasing a new vehicle. The English brand, not even among the top three luxury automakers on the list last year, vaulted ahead of Lexus, which placed third this year after leading the list in 2011 and 2012. Porsche, meanwhile, moved into second place.
The rankings are based on a point score out of 1,000, with Jaguar earning 740 points, Porsche right behind with 739 and Lexus with 737. Volvo, meanwhile, made the biggest improvement among luxury brands with a 30-point jump to 708, bring it up from 11th place to 9th this year.
J.D. Power has a separate ranking for mass-market brands, and this year Mini again tops the list with a score of 718, far outpacing second-place Buick with a score of 694 and making it the fourth time Mini has lead this list. After Buick, the next two ranked brands are both American and both from General Motors, with Chevrolet and GMC sharing third place with a score of 686.
