This all original car is a reliable daily driver at a condition level closer to Excellent than Good. It would also be a great head start for a Concourse restoration. It's not one of those cars that was left outside with the windows open for years. The engine was seized and has been fully rebuilt. The drivetrain, suspension, electrical, etc. have all been gone over and in drive way condition. It would be a great weekend car as it stands. It was painted about 5 years ago. This car runs like new. The rebuilt engine (heads, rings, rods, bearings, pistons, guides the works) has 0 miles on it and there's not a wisp of smoke to be seen from the instant it starts. All the chrome is original and 98-100%. All new Gaskets, hoses and belts all around. AC works but will probably need a charge. All the glass is perfect and the headliner is brand new. Original Exhaust, Brakes, Interior finishes, leather, etc. but absolutely no sun/heat stressed dashboard or interior parts.

Jaguar F-Type US order guide loose online

An alleged US order guide for the 2014 Jaguar F-Type has made its way online courtesy of the good people at F-TypeClub.com, documenting everything from wheel color options to special equipment packages. From the looks of things, buyers will be able to choose from a total of eight wheel designs in sizes ranging from 18 inches on the base model all the way up to 20 inches. While most of those rollers are available in either silver or black finishes, the 20-inch blade-style wheels are not only forged, but come with carbon-fiber trim. Fancy.
Depending on trim, F-Type buyers will get to choose between two types of seat, including a set of performance-style 14-way power adjustable thrones, complete with seat belts in black, red or tan. Other fun tricks include available power folding side view mirrors and a 770-watt, 14-speaker Meridian sound system.
Jaguar recalling XK Convertible and XF 2.0T sedan for unrelated issues
Fri, 16 Aug 2013Jaguar has announced that it will be recalling 1,989 XK Convertibles produced between October 1, 2010 and August 1, 2013. Model years ranging from 2011 to 2014 are part of the recall.
The issue has to do with one of the switches the switch that controls the opening and closing of the convertible top. The switch also has to do with the operation of the power windows. According to the Feds, the switch doesn't move down to close the power windows, meaning that the window could accidentally close on the finger or arm of an inattentive person.
In related news, Jaguar is also recalling 940 2013 XF sedans powered by the 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine for a hose that can detach underhood, which could cause the engine to stall or could leave the driver without power steering or brakes.
