Up for sale is my Scout II with the rare SD33T ( Diesel ). The Scout is a 1980 chassis and driveline, however has a 1972 tub on it ( due to the rust of the old tub ) It has an SD33T that I just recently had the head gasket replaced. At the same time I replaced the head, turbo, water pump, injectors ( with the correct tip washers ), glow plugs ( with glow plug conversion ). I checked the compression at the same time and it checks out well. I also powder coated the intake and exhaust manifolds. Replaced the alternator with a Chevy1 wire alternator ( I have hyrdoboost and no longer needed the vacuum pump )

I also replaced the clutch, pilot and throwout bearing and had the flywheel turned.

I have changed all fluids within the last 100 miles.

I do not believe the body was correctly prepped prior to the paint job it received prior to my purchase and is peeling at a few places. This Scout started up on the coldest days this winter ( 0-5F) without any issues. It is a small 3" lift on it, which makes it look much better than stock. This thing is as solid as they come and went like a tank with this years snowfall. These are not machines build for speed, however they have enough power to pull a house off the foundation. I have never had this off road and has been in my garage since I purchased it.
