1976 International Scout Traveler on 2040-cars

The Traveler was only produced between 1976 and 1980 and was the only International model to win the prestigious 4x4 of the year award.  This model is equipped with the hearty 345 ci V8 matched to a 3 speed automatic transmission.

There have been many repairs completed on the Scout and currently it is in excellent condition.  A sample list of repairs and additions:

• Xline application to everything behind the front seats (the surface was properly prepared before the liner was installed)
• New carpet kit
• Freshly detailed to include reconditioned front bucket seats and rear bench seat
• Newly smogged and tagged for California which required a new carburetor system, dual exhaust, catalytic converter, ignition coil, distributor
• The truck has a 4” lift with almost new 33” Yokahama AT’s.
• The steering box was rebuilt as was the right pitman arm and right axle.
• Set up as an RV tow vehicle.
