Nissan, Infiniti recall more than 130,000 vehicles for potential fuel leak

Nissan and its luxury brand, Infiniti, are set to recall 133,592 vehicles after discovering that fuel could leak out around the pressure sensor, potentially increasing the chances of a fire. While Nissan lists five nameplates in its recall, there are actually only three models affected by the improperly tightened fuel pressure sensor. They include the 2012 to 2014 Nissan Juke, as well as 2012 to 2015 Infiniti M56/Q70 sedans and QX56/QX80 SUVs. Nissan will begin notifying owners of affected vehicles soon, with the recall expected to officially kick off no later than January 26, 2015. Naturally, repairs will be conducted free of charge. SUMMARY: Nissan North America, Inc. (Nissan) is recalling certain model year 2012-2014 Nissan Juke, 2012-2013 Infiniti M56, QX56, and 2014-2015 Infiniti Q70, and QX80 vehicles. The fuel pressure sensors may not have been sufficiently tightened during production. As a result, the fuel pressure sensor may loosen with vehicle usage and cause a fuel leak. CONSEQUENCE: A fuel leak in the presence of an ignition source could cause a vehicle fire. REMEDY: Nissan will notify owners, and dealers will replace the fuel pressure sensors, as necessary, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin on or before January 26, 2015. 2023 Infiniti QX60 adds three-year maintenance plan, higher price

Infiniti has published pricing information for the 2023 QX60. The second-generation crossover enters its second model year on the market with price increases across the board, a handful of new features and a three-year maintenance plan called Infiniti Premium Care. Buyers still have four trim levels to choose from. Pricing for the full range (including the $1,195 destination charge) is as follows: QX60 Pure: $50,395 ($2,520 more than in 2022) QX60 Luxe: $56,445 ($2,520 more than in 2022) QX60 Sensory: $59,795 ($2,420 more than in 2022) QX60 Autograph: $63,795 ($2,420 more than in 2022) Note that those figures correspond to the front-wheel-drive QX60. Motorists who want all-wheel-drive will need to pay and extra $2,000 regardless of trim. Small updates to the list of standard features complement the price hike. Every trim level gains a wireless device charger and a frameless rear-view mirror for 2023. The Luxe model gets gloss black trim on the rear bumper, while Sensory and Autograph trims receive gray trim. Heated front seats, 18-inch wheels, a 12.3-inch display for the infotainment system and a power-operated hatch continue to come standard. Infiniti Premium Care is the final addition to the QX60 line-up. Announced in June 2022, and offered on every 2023 Infiniti model, it's an integrated maintenance plan that includes three years' worth of engine oil and brake fluid changes, tire rotations, inspections, cabin air filter replacements, tire road hazard coverage, and, on some models, car rental assistance. Watch Formula Drift's Chris Forsberg break in a new warehouse

Here are just a few great drift cars: Toyota AE86, Mazda RX-7, Nissan Z, Nissan Silvia, and Ford Mustang. One vehicle you won't find on that list, however, is the Infiniti M, because it's a big, heavy luxury car.
It's comfortable, spacious and better to drive than you might expect. And yet, even though it was possible to get one with a very nice 335-horsepower, 4.5-liter V8, it wouldn't be the first car we'd gut and take drifting in an empty warehouse. Formula Drift driver Chris Forsberg didn't get our memo, evidently, which is why we have this video of him flinging a big, white Infiniti through an empty building.
