1994 Infiniti J30 Touring on 2040-cars

You are bidding on a 1994 Infinity J30. The car is currently being driven and is completely road worthy. I have clear title for SC.
I bought the car in 2011 and since then I have gone through the car and replaced the following... -front struts -radiator -starter -driver side rear window motor -car stereo -interior dimmer switch -3 of the 4 tires -added a class 3 towing package. It was used to tow a jetski. (light duty) I changed the oil in this car every 3000 miles or 3 months. The car has some holes in the leather seats and the carpets have stains. The body is in great shape. Breaks will stop you on a dime and are tall. No cracks in windows. Auto seats, doors, etc all work great. Air conditioner work great. What is wrong: The trunk key lock is jammed but we just use the side door trunk release to open. The sunroof only opens partially... just needs grease. The engine idles rough. It must need a tuneup or to have it's injectors cleaned. I am not a mechanic so you must not rely on my diagnosis. The car is still extremely drivable. |

Sebastien Vettel testing Infiniti's production Etherea?
Thu, 30 May 2013It sounds like Sebastian Vettel has had his hands full recently, juggling his Formula One racing career while moonlighting as the newly appointed director of performance at Infiniti. On that latter note, Autocar is reporting that Vettel has been testing a production version of the Etherea Concept at France's Circuit Paul Ricard.
There is still no word as to when we could see this car go into production or what it will be called (possibly the Q30), but it will likely share a platform with the Mercedes-Benz A-Class as a part of the Daimler/Renault-Nissan collaboration. The article also said that this future entry-level Infiniti would be produced at Nissan's Sunderland, UK plant.
2014 Infiniti Q50's novel drive-by-wire steering system recalled
Mon, 16 Dec 2013The gradual replacement of mechanical components in automobiles with electronic systems brings with it definite advantages, but also poses certain potential dangers. Just think of the inevitable problems you've encountered with the computer on which you're reading these words and you'll know what we mean. But a computer crashing isn't as problematic as your car going on the fritz when its electronic systems fail.
That's what Infiniti is being reminded of with its new drive-by-wire electronic steering system. The Japanese automaker developed and installed the Direct Adaptive Steering System in its new Q50 sedan, but a small number of those cars on the road are now being recalled due to that system.
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, on a small number of examples, the Q50's optional by-wire system may fail if the temperature in the engine compartment drops below freezing. There's a backup mechanical setup in place should the electronic system fail, but NHTSA says that the backup system may also fail to engage in time to avoid a crash.
