Year:2006 Mileage:79203 Color: is in good shape and the vehicle has never been in an accident nor through any repair shops other than routine maintenance

Loudon, Tennessee, United States

I have owned this 2006 Infiniti FX35 for about 6 years. I bought it used with about 5,000 miles at the time. It is now just over 79,000 miles. The car is in good condition and runs very well. The only mechanical problem I have ever had was a bad battery. The car has had routine oil, filter, and transmission fluid changes.

Here is a repeat of the condition description: The exterior is in good shape and the vehicle has never been in an accident nor through any repair shops other than routine maintenance. The paint is good, and the vehicle has been kept in a garage. The paint does show normal wear, scuffs, and minor scratches. There is one scratch on the right side that barely indents the metal. The tires are worn to the legal limit and need immediate replacement. The wheels are in good shape with normal scuff marks. The interior is clean and has never been used by smokers nor by pets. The driver's seat does has a couple of tears in the leather/upholstery on the left side. The interior has signs of normal wear. There is also some tear to the foam rubber type insulation found at the floor of the driver's side that makes a seal with the front door.

The vehicle has the following equipment/options:

Sun roof
Car top racks/rails
Heated front seats
Cruise control
Rear windshield wiper
Iphone/iPod connector for music (after market)
Rear protective mat/tray in cargo area
Floor mats over passenger foot spaces
Leather covered steering wheel
Dashboard display screen for maintenance, fuel economy, vehicle set-up, etc.
Tire pressure on inside screen
Power seats in front
Driver seat memory
Leather appointed seats
Intermittent wipers
AM/FM/CD/Aux music console
Bose speakers
Center console gear shifter with manual over-ride
Rear view camera when backing
Power windows
Power locks
Remote key for locking, unlocking
Power exterior mirrors
3.5 liter V6 DOHC gas engine
Fog lights

2013 Infiniti QX56 [w/video]

Mon, 24 Jun 2013

Promising, And Delivering, Bigness
Some things appear much smaller in pictures than they do in person. The Eiffel Tower, Space Shuttle orbiters and the statue of Abraham Lincoln in the National Mall come immediately to mind. The 2013 Infiniti QX56, however, isn't one of those things.
The Infiniti flagship sport utility looks massive in pictures, and it grows to simply colossal when you are standing next to it.

Infiniti Q50 steer-by-wire system took 10 years to develop [w/video]

Tue, 03 Dec 2013

Infiniti's Direct Adaptive Steering (DAS) is quite a novelty - the system employs no physical connection between the steering wheel and the front wheels under normal circumstances and instead relies on a computer, clutch and steering-angle actuator to guide vehicles down the road with input from the driver.
In our First Drive review of a 2014 Infiniti Q50 equipped with the system, we weren't overly impressed by the artificial feedback. But we can't help but be impressed with how long Infiniti spent on its development: a full 10 years, according to Autoline Daily in the video report below. A staggering 70 percent of the research and development time spent on DAS was devoted to getting the steering feel right, and unfortunately, our first impression suggests their results still leave something to be desired, as we found it lacked the sporty feeling a sport sedan should have.
The weight of DAS is comparable to that of a conventional steering system due to its complexity. For example, three ECUs are used in the first-generation DAS system to ensure there's never a loss of steering, but Infiniti is refining the technology and is working to simplify it to reduce weight. One day Infiniti hopes that only one ECU will be needed to control DAS. We just hope it doesn't take the Japanese automaker another ten years to get the steering feel right.

Infiniti prices renamed 2014 QX50 and QX80 crossovers

Wed, 24 Jul 2013

Earlier this week, Infiniti revealed the pricing for its two midsize crossovers, but now it has announced the pricing for its renamed bookend utility vehicles, the compact QX50 crossover and the fullsize QX80 SUV. Those looking for a smaller luxury crossover will be glad to learn that the 2014 QX50 now starts at $34,400* (a price drop of $2,500 compared to the 2013 EX), while pricing for the 2014 QX80 will remain the same as the 2013 QX56, starting at $61,350* (*prices do not include $995 for destination).
In terms of packaging, the QX50 will carry over unchanged, but the QX80 gets a new Backup Collision Intervention system as a part of its optional Technology Package. All of Infiniti's 2014 QX utility vehicles are on sale now, but for more details about the QX50 and QX80, scroll down for the official press release.
