I purchased the car from Simmons-Rockwell in Elmira NY sophomore year of high school around September of 2008. The car is a 2006 Hyundai Tiburon GT V6, the car came with the premium pack (Infinity speakers, 6 CD disc changer, leather/mesh seats, power windows and sunroof, etc.) The car has been used during summer periods only, it has 53### miles and has been parked in a two car garage since I purchased the car. Below is a list of modifications in general order of when they were installed.
Modifications:
• MOMO Corse RPM rims (Ordered from DiscountTireDirect.com back in 2007)
• HID 12K Light Conversion Slim Ballast
• Injen Cold Air Intake (Ordered from AndysAutoSport.com around 2008)
• ARK Shorty Antenna (Ordered from AndysAutoSport.com around 2008)
• Carbon Fiber Trunk Hatch (Extremely rare now for the Tiburon ordered in 2009/2010, must be handmade now)
• Drilled and Slotted Rotors
• Tint ( Legal specs on all windows)
• VIS EVO Carbon Fiber Hood (Ordered in 2011 from Ground Dynamics)
• KYB G Struts and Tein S Tech Lowering Springs (Replaced June 14th 2012 along with an alignment after new suspension setup)
• DC Sports ceramic coated headers and DC Sports stainless steel dual exhaust (Installed late summer 2012)
• TWM short throw shifter with gold bushings and TWM championship gold "Piston" shift knob
• Only use synthetic engine oil
I'm trying to sell the car to someone who will respect the car and continue to take care of it. The Kelly Blue Book Value rates a completely stock Tiburon with same specs and miles to be roughly $9,000-9,500 (PLEASE look into the AFTERMARKET prices of the products listed above, much of my money and time have gone into this car). Low ball offers will be dismissed and most likely I won't respond, however; I'm willing to work with those who are serious about purchasing the car. Whoever purchases the car also recieves all OEM parts, meaning original hood, original set of rims and tires, original short ram intake, original antenna, original shifter and bushings, OEM headers and axle back portion of exhaust, etc. Whatever I took off the car will be his or hers to keep as well ( except for the rear hatch it was sold). With all of my money and time going into the car I've grown very close to it, but it's no longer practical for my use and I'm looking to purchase a 2010+ model full size truck. If you are seriously interested please contact me via email and I will be glad to send you more information, pictures, or even meet with you to view the car.

Hyundai reportedly eyeing a takeover of FCA
Fri, Jun 29 2018The CEO of Hyundai Motor Group plans to launch a takeover bid for Fiat Chrysler ahead of the planned retirement of FCA Chief Executive Sergio Marchionne next spring, Asia Times reports, citing unnamed sources close the situation. CEO Chung Mong-koo will wait for an expected decline in the Italian-American automaker's shares to make his move. Hyundai isn't commenting on the rumors, unsurprisingly, but would presumably stand to benefit by gaining Chrysler's dealer network and the lucrative Jeep brand and probably Ram, too. An FCA spokeswoman in Auburn Hills told Autoblog the company had no comment. But like any story about a possible takeover, this one gets complicated with inside players — and President Trump's posturing on international trade issues. FCA has been the subject of takeover interest before, including by Hyundai, but Marchionne has denied a merger was likely, instead saying his company was in talks with the Korean automaker about a technical partnership. In 2015, Marchionne lobbied General Motors hard, but unsuccessfully, for a tie-up; he was also spurned by Volkswagen. Marchionne had repeatedly stressed the need for car companies to merge to decrease overcapacity and better afford the massive investments needed for things like autonomous and electric vehicles. In the case of Hyundai's reported interest, there is a cast of characters. One is Paul Singer, principal of the hedge fund Elliott Management, an activist shareholder with a $1 billion stake in Hyundai and a major owner of equities in Fiat's home turf of Italy. Then there is FCA Chairman John Elkann, who reportedly disagrees with Marchionne on a successor as CEO of Fiat Chrysler but has little interest in running the company himself and would prefer a merger. Compounding things is what the Trump administration would think of a further blending of Fiat Chrysler's international DNA, though a deal with a Korean automaker is thought to be more palatable to the president and members of Congress than by a Chinese conglomerate like Great Wall Motor, which has confirmed its interest in taking over all or parts of FCA. 2018 Hyundai Sonata Sport Quick Spin Review | Returning to the revolution
Thu, Feb 1 2018The 2018 Hyundai Sonata represents a course correction of the sort that just wasn't needed with the previous-generation model. Besides a few added features here and there, that car really didn't change much during the course of its lifetime, and frankly, it didn't need to. When something works, don't screw it up. It arrived at a time when Honda and Toyota were pretty much phoning it in, and boasted a revolutionary design that quite literally changed the way midsize family sedans look to this day. Toyota designer Ian Cartabiano told me that Sonata was one of the few cars over the years that made his fellow designers wake up a bit and realize the game was changing. Then, after staging a revolution, Hyundai played it safe. The Sonata introduced three years ago was conservative to the point of anonymity outside, while not really moving the needle on the vehicle dynamics front. If there was one, clear area where that revolutionary Sonata fell short -- and indeed virtually every Hyundai -- it was in the sophistication and poise it demonstrated out on the road. Well, after the cool reception to the model redesign, Hyundai got a wake up call of its own. This 2018 Hyundai Sonata gets a rather significant facelift, adopting the curvy trapezoidal grille found on more recently introduced models, and ditching its conservative anonymity for a more organic overall appearance certainly in keeping with its "Fluidic Sculpture" predecessor. The rear was also redone with more tapered, dare I say "aggressive" taillights and the license plate relocated to the bumper. Is the end result a great-looking car? Shoulder shrug, but it's sure better than before. Compare the 2018 Hyundai Sonata to its rivals using the Autoblog Compare Cars tool. 2018 Hyundai Sonata Sport View 5 Photos However, I knew the 2018 Sonata looked different. I was quite frankly not expecting it to drive different, because when you review cars long enough, you start to know what a particular brand's cars feel like behind the wheel. There'll be subtle changes over the years, but the language remains the same. Well, the Sonata has been hitting the Rosetta Stone. The change is immediately apparent. The on-center steering feel is crisp, the turn-in more immediate and effort is consistent. It just feels "right" now whereas before turning the Sonata was one of numb indifference.
Hyundai ix35/Tucson replacement comes into view
Fri, 28 Feb 2014Last week, we showed you some leaked images of the Hyundai Intrado Concept, a vehicle set for debut at next week's Geneva Motor Show. We suspect that the Intrado will act as the inspiration for the next Hyundai Tucson, known elsewhere in the world as the ix35. Now, we can bring you the first images of that car undergoing testing.
There is quite a lot of cladding on this prototype, although we can make out a set of slim headlights that are similar in shape to the Intrado. The two cars also share a similar shape in the greenhouse, although obviously the prototype wears an extra set of doors behind the B-pillar.
Don't be fooled by the heavy cladding on the rear hatch, either, as it's just there to disrupt the look of the profile. It's fairly easy to spot where the roofline starts its dive down.
