2011 Hyundai Genesis Coupe Turbo Well-maintained White 6-spd Spoiler..make Offer on 2040-cars
Staunton, Virginia, United States
|
Attention: The first reasonable offer takes it home this weekend! Do not miss out on this combination white w/ 6-speed!
I am listing my 2011 Hyundai Genesis Coupe that I purchased new in March, 2011. Why? First of all, I just bought a new home and need the money. Two, I recently transferred so close to my job I do not need a second vehicle. So, the gen coupe must go. The car has 62,500 Highway Miles! It has been meticulously maintained its whole life with what amounted to an oil change about every six weeks due to 100 mile-per-day commutes to and from work. I am selling for the reasons listed above and welcome reasonable offers. Recent Maintenance-Related Items: ***Virginia State Safety Inspection (required annually) ***Oil Change (I will change again prior to delivery) ***Windshield Wiper Blade Replacement ***Engine Air Filter Replacement ***Cabin Air Filter Replacement ***Goodyear Eagle Sport Tires (approx. 5,000 miles) I have receipts for the work performed. I am a non-smoker and would rate the interior 9.5 out of 10 {nothing is perfect}. I would give the exterior an 8.5 out of 10 due to minor chips and scratches. There is a larger scratch on the lower, front bumper from road debris and very slight curb rash on one wheel. Please see photos. I am trying to represent the car as it is; mechanically sound with only minor aesthetic imperfections. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or to schedule a showing or test drive. The terms of the sale are as follows: I, the seller, am not offering any warranty or guarantee of any kind. This is a used car. I am not assisting financially with the purchase of this vehicle. I am requiring a deposit of $500.00 within 48 hours once we have reached an agreement. I will need the remainder paid in full within seven (7) days please. You, the buyer, are responsible for pick up and/or shipping of the vehicle. I am happy to assist in recommending a reliable agent with who I have worked in the past, but the scheduling and payment of such is your duty. The sale is final. Again, if you have any questions please call. I am available at (540) 487-1313. My name is Stacy Zimmerman and I will be more than happy to speak with you. I will be as honest and open as I can because I would like to sell this vehicle. I have thoroughly enjoyed it as I am confident you will too. Thanks for looking and have a wonderful day. |

FCA discussing tech partnership with Hyundai, but no merger
Sun, Dec 3 2017Fiat Chrysler Automobiles is in talks with South Korea's Hyundai about a technical partnership, but there are no merger talks between the two, FCA Chief Executive Sergio Marchionne said on Saturday. FCA is often the subject of merger speculation, especially after its unsuccessful 2015 attempt to tie up with larger U.S. rival GM. Its share price jumped to record highs in August after reports of interest from China and Hyundai. "We already buy components from (Hyundai) .... let's see if we can agree on other points, especially for the development of transmissions and hydrogen," Marchionne told journalists, adding there was "nothing to announce for the moment". Asked whether this collaboration could turn into a merger, Marchionne said: "I don't believe so". Jaguar I-Pace vs. Tesla Model 3 and other EVs: How they compare on paper
Thu, Mar 1 2018The 200-mile club of electric vehicles is really growing. The most recent member is the Jaguar I-Pace, the company's first pure EV. It promises luxury, performance, style, and most important, good range. Nearly as recent is the Hyundai Kona EV, and while it doesn't promise luxury or performance like the Jaguar (it's also smaller), it does pack impressive range. With the introduction of both of these electric cars, we thought we would see how they compare against each other, and the other two big names in high-capacity electric cars: the Chevy Bolt EV and the Tesla Model 3. This isn't intended to be a direct, apples-to-apples comparison, as the four are quite different. If anything, they break into two groups: bigger and more luxurious, and smaller and less expensive. Then again, the number of vehicles with this electric range is small and comparisons to EV's with less range wouldn't be too kind to the other guys. If you want to learn more about these EVs, and compare them with other cars, be sure to check out our Car Finder and comparison tools. Horsepower and torque There is one clear winner here, and that's the Jaguar I-Pace. It packs a whopping 394 horsepower and 512 pound-feet of torque. That comes through a pair of electric motors (one at the front, another at the rear) that provide the Jag with all-wheel drive, the only one of these vehicles to offer it (at the moment). Altogether, it allows the I-Pace to have the best 0-60 mph time of 4.5 seconds. At the other end of the spectrum is the Hyundai Kona EV. It's front-drive, like the Bolt EV, and has effectively the same amount of horsepower as the Chevy at 201 horsepower, but its 0-60-mph time is almost a second slower. And the low-range version of the Kona, excluded because it doesn't go more than 200 miles between charges, is slower still. The Tesla Model 3 is the only vehicle with rear-wheel drive, and with a 0-60 mph of 5.1 seconds for the Long Range model, it is still very quick. Range and energy use Frequently, the all-consuming question with electric cars is, "How far can I go on a charge?" And to go the farthest, you need the long-range Tesla Model 3. It can go 310 miles. It has the added advantage of being able to use the network of Tesla Supercharger stations, though they are pay-per-use with the Model 3. Even the lower capacity Model 3, with just 220 miles of range, can use these stations.
2015 Hyundai Genesis appears uncovered [UPDATE]
Thu, 17 Oct 2013Hyundai gave us a tease of its second-gen Genesis sedan courtesy of the HCD-14 Genesis Concept displayed at this year's Detroit Auto Show, and while we've seen numerous spy shots of the car testing since (both on and off the track), all were heavily camouflaged. That all changed today when the South Korean site bobaedream.co.kr posted an image of the new luxury sedan sitting out completely uncovered (click the image to enlarge).
While we can't see much more than the face of the new Genesis sedan, it does appear to be a striking improvement over the current car that debuted back in 2008. The jutting, upright grille is very similar in appearance to the HCD-14 Concept, while the headlights and fascia look like a combination of Mercedes S-Class and E-Class. The body creasing isn't as dramatic as the concept, but the roofline and glasshouse look to be almost identical to the show car. Based on how finished the car looks in this picture, our guess is that we could see Hyundai's new Genesis at an upcoming auto show like LA or Detroit.
UPDATE: Per the request of the individual pictured next to the Hyundai Genesis in the original photo that spurred this story, we have removed said image from the post. You can still see the new Genesis here at the source, for the moment.
