You are looking at my excellent condition 2005 H2 Hummer, This one owner vehicle was purchased new at Sewell Hummer in Plano TX and has always been maintained by them as well. It is in very nice condition and has almost all highway miles between Dallas and Houston. Vehicle runs and drives perfect, engine uses no oil and there are no leaks. The engine compartment looks almost new and it has not been detailed! Just put on four new BF Goodrich KO'S at $1600.00. Paint is very nice! Vehicle has custom wheels with a full size spare, custom spare with hard cover with matching paint, comes with custom hard mats for carpet. Vehicle has never been wrecked and has been garaged nearly all of its life. As with all our trucks we only use Mobil 1 Synthetic oil and have always changed the fluids on time. This SUV has a custom factory carbon fiber dash that looks brand new and is very clean inside. I am a very picky owner and take great care of all my vehicles, this Hummer has been a fantastic vehicle for us and I would be keeping it but we have two, so we are keeping our 2008 model. There is nothing on the road like an H2. I have taken quite a few pictures from all angles. If you need any additional info please call Jim 214-223-7141.
Additional Description-As I said I am a very picky owner and have made a list of what I perceive to be minor issues.
Interior-Normal wear for a 8 year old vehicle, Drivers side leather shows typical wear, passenger side has barely any. Backseats show little wear. Typical small scratches in plastic and other wear and tear from getting in and out. Radio knob has some paint wear as does volume controls on steering wheel. Rear area is very clean as is carpet, normal scuffs in plastic from putting things in hatch area.Drivers side seat heater can be sporadic, If you move the seats back and forth it usually turns on so I think its just a loose connector somewhere.
Exterior- Two door dings, one on back hatch and the other on drivers door, too hard to take pictures of on black paint, I am sure these can be knocked out. Scuff on plastic rear bumper drivers side cover where we were backing up and a gate blew open and rubbed it, These covers are available on ebay all the time new for $45.00 or less. Most people would never probably notice much of this but I want my description to be as picky as possible because I would expect the same thing.Several years ago the passenger side doors were lightly scratched, so we had them repainted. It was a perfect job by a high end shop and has no issues, but I disclose anything and everything I can think of.
Windshield - several small repairs and done very well- Hummer windshields are flat and get alot of rock chips, repairs are very good quality and you can barely see them. No other chips.
Motor- Runs perfect- No issues-well maintained.
Tires and wheels- Wheels are in excellent condition with brand new tires!
These are high mileage vehicles- you see them all the time with 300k miles on original engines. She is ready to take you anywhere.
I will help with loading the vehicle or shipping if needed.

This modified Hummer hybrid will go to the South Pole on biofuel
Thu, Apr 30 2015One modified Hummer H1, traveling with another vehicle that looks like a modified Hummer H1, will spend six to 10 days driving to the South Pole, two days camping at the Pole, and take another six to 10 days driving back to the coast of Antarctica. Assuming all goes well. That's not guaranteed, since this blue beast really is - fundamentally, at least - a Hummer H1, not just Hummer-like bodywork over non-Hummer internals like you'd find on, say, the Dakar-winning "Mini." The Zero South team has been working on this vehicle for seven years (we checked it out at SEMA in 2008 and in 2010). The frame, suspension, axles, hubs, differentials, and the body are pure 1998 Hummer, the funky bodywork being from an insulated H1 ambulance, the uprated driveline from an armored H1. The original H1 used a 6.5-liter V8, but here that ICE engine has been swapped for a 3.2-liter turbodiesel V6 straight-six that will run on aviation-grade biofuel pulled from two 30-gallon tanks. Called the Hybrid Polar Traverse Vehicles, the serial hybrids use that engine to power a 216-horsepower electric motor that juices up a 24-kWr battery stored in an insulated, five-foot-long battery box between the frame rails. That battery powers two 200-hp electric motors, one at each axle, that will keep the tracks going through the Antarctic December half-light. We aren't sure what the second vehicle is based on, but its internals mirror the Hummer's, it has the exact same specs, and it looks almost the same except it's painted orange. They will pull a modified Airstream trailer called the "Snowstream," and are planning and eight-episode TV series as well as a feature film to document the expedition.
2023 Hyundai Ioniq 5 Cupholder Mega Test: Will the Nalgene bottle fit?
Tue, May 2 2023I absolutely adore the Hyundai Ioniq 5, and so was excited to spend a week with it when the EV landed in my driveway. When I first drove the Ioniq 5 in San Diego, though, I hadn't packed my favorite style water bottle: the big 32-ounce Nalgene. Despite it being the best, its sheer size makes it less ideal when trying to pack light for a short trip. It also means it doesn't fit in most cars' cupholders, but, without the bottle on hand, I'd have to wait until this new opportunity with the Ioniq 5 to find out if it passes the Nalgene check. So, let's get to it. Starting at pole position — the front cupholders — we find ourselves unlucky so far. It's not even close to fitting. Not unusual, but our first option for convenient access to megahydration is denied. In most instances, our next best bet is the molded pockets in the front door panels. Here we have success. It's quite a tight fit, so while our drink won't be knocking or rolling around, it's not as easy as it could be to retrieve while driving, and I'll probably eventually wear out the little plastic tether connecting the lid to the bottle, as that's the easiest thing to grab without looking. Still, I'll give these door holders a pass. How about the folks sitting in back? Where can they stash their Nalgenes? No surprise about it not fitting in the center armrest cupholders after our inauspicious start with the fronts. The fact that it won't fit in the door panels is disappointing. C'est la vie. But one more thing ... you might have noticed another potential stash up front in the storage cubby below the center stack. The Nalgene fits in there just fine, but a little bit of extra room means the bottle will be knocking around. It's actually a decent spot, and more accessible than the doors.
2022 GMC Hummer EV Edition 1 Prototype Drive Review | Let the supertruck wars begin
Mon, Oct 4 2021MILFORD, Mich. — Hummer is high on the list of vehicles we never thought would return. The gas-guzzling brutes met their demise more than a decade ago as the industry pivoted briefly to smaller cars and General Motors shed brands during its historic restructuring. Fast-forward to 2022, and HummerÂ’s revival is at hand thanks to yet another industry shift, this time to electric propulsion. ItÂ’s expensive, itÂ’s still huge and the numbers are eye-popping to the tune of 1,000 horsepower. America loves a comeback — but it loves trucks more. We briefly tested the 2022 GMC Hummer EV Edition 1 truck at the GM Proving Grounds 40 miles northwest of Detroit. Weeks from now, Hummers will start rolling off the line at GMÂ’s EV site, dubbed Factory Zero, in the Motor City. While the Hummer SUV will undoubtedly prove its worth, GM is leading with the pickup, ambitiously calling it a supertruck and eagerly touting its metrics and mojo-generating features, like CrabWalk, against the Rivian R1T, Ford F-150 Lightning, Tesla Cybertruck, as well as gas-powered off-roaders like the Ford F-150 Raptor and Ram 1500 TRX, plus various Jeep and Land Rover SUVs. (Here's our latest supertruck spec comparo). All of them have impressed us (save the Cybertruck, which only Jay Leno and a few others have driven), but the Hummer is formidable in its own right. For one thing, itÂ’s a Hummer. The negative connotations of the old Hummers melt away when thereÂ’s a 24-module Ultium battery pack powering three motors for a range of 350-plus miles on a single charge. The old model was divisive, but a lot of people paid a lot of money for them simply because they looked very cool. HummerÂ’s familiar grille makes it bold return on our tester that looms high on its 35-inch Goodyear Wrangler Territory MT tires. It certainly looks the part of a supertruck. The cabin is roomy and airy, with the removable sky panels letting in the bright fall morning. Hummer EV chief engineer Al Oppenheiser is our co-pilot for our test, and after a quick walk-through, weÂ’re off. The first order of business is simply mashing the throttle. The Edition 1 serves up about 1,200 pound-feet of torque, and you can make use of all of that and the four-figure horsepower to hit 60 mph in about 3 seconds. We accelerate hard, blasting over some soft ground before things get a little squirrelly and can confirm the claimed time feels legit.
