    • The V8 gas engine on Hummers had only 316 hp.

    • The 2006 Duramax engine came in two models, the LLY which had 310 hp and 605 ft-lbs of torque and then the LBZ came out with the 360 hp and 650 ft.-lbs of torque.

  • Edge Evolution Programmer/Tuner for the 06/07 6.6 Duramax-  Base of 100 hp and 210 foot-pounds of torque.   Tuner has 3 modes to improve fuel economy and is internet updateable.

  • MP3 plug-in and a custom iPod jack that has been mounted next to the screen.

  • Strobe lighting in the headlights and taillights that’s controlled with the red toggle switches in the front console area-installed because it was built as a showtruck-

  • Bulletproof 12” lift with upgraded FOX shocks-

  • Brand new 35” Falken tires with black billet rims-

This truck really needs to be seen in person to appreciate all the extras it has and its completely custom look.  It was built to be a showtruck and has never been driven in the rain.  It was previously owned by a California resident.  Since I purchased it I have only drove it about 100 miles because I bought it right before winter and once winter hit I had it detailed and placed in storage.  The reason I am selling it is because we had an exceptionally long winter this year and I decided to stay in the area so it isn’t a practical vehicle for me to own in upstate NY.

KBB for this truck stock with NONE of extras is $29,503. To do a diesel conversion it costs between $30-35,000.  I would normally sell it for $50,000 firm but I would like to sell it soon so I’ll accept any reasonable offers, none below $42,000.

Out With A Bang: Hummer dealer giving away free shotgun with every new vehicle purchase

Lynch Hummer dealership in Chesterfield, Missouri - Click above for image gallery
You've heard of art imitating life? Well how about life imitating war? That's another story entirely, but not so far fetched when it comes to the Hummer. The sport-'ute that met the public eye during Operation Desert Storm has all but completely gone through its entire life cycle in the intervening years: first as a military-only vehicle, the original model became available to the public, then GM bought the rights and started churning out pickup-based H2s and H3s, the U.S. armed forces went back Iraq, the original H1 was discontinued and now GM is preparing to wind down the brand entirely. But not before one last pistol-shootin' hoorah, courtesy of the one dealership that arguably sees the truck for what it is more than any other: Lynch Hummer.
The St. Louis-area franchise made headlines last year when they started filling their emptying showroom with gun racks, selling firearms to make up for dwindling sales in the gigantic SUVs. Now the dealership is connecting the dots with a one-of-a-kind promotion: Buy a Hummer, get a free shotgun.

2024 GMC Hummer EV 3X Pickup gets a range boost

Thu, Jul 13 2023

The 2024 GMC Hummer EV 3X Pickup is getting an update for more range in the new model year. Instead of 355 miles, the new long-range version of the 3X Pickup will go 381 miles. Note that you need to option the 24-module battery pack to get this range figure. However, if you go for the standard 20-module battery pack, GMC says range is improved for 2024, as well. The GM-estimated figure goes from 329 miles for 2023, all the way up to 359 miles for 2024. You should also note that acceleration times are different depending on battery pack, too, as the longer-range model does 0-60 mph in 3.0 seconds versus the 3.5 seconds of the standard range version. The other big choice you’ll need to make is whether or not you tack on the “Extreme Off-Road Package.” This adds 18-inch wheels wrapped by 35-inch mud-terrain tires, four addiitonal underbody camera views for a total of 18, front e-locker with rear virtual locking differentials, heavy-duty ball-spline half-shafts along with more skid plates and underbody shielding. WeÂ’ll also note that range suffers as a result of this equipment. GM only provides the range figure for the upgrade 24-module pack, and it goes down from 381 miles to 359 miles. GMC says the 2024 Hummer 3X Pickup will go on sale to reservation holders this fall and start at $106,945, including the destination charge. Related video:
