This is my personal 2004 Limited Edition Victory Red Hummer H2. It has a 1 Owner Title. I bought it from Driving Emotions of west Palms Florida. Please check their inventory. They mostly only sell new Ferrari's and Lamborghini's. With that being said, this H2 is as close to a new one as you could ask for. It would pass for 7,000 miles it is so clean and super nice! It truly has had one of the best lives an H2 could ever have. With an original window sticker of $59,840.00 The (dealership) added Stealth Security $595.00, Large Chrome Wrap Around $1995.00, Chrome Piaa Foe Lamps $895.00, Chrome billet Wheels $5995.00, Billet Door Dishes $1895.00, Custom Leather Interior $2895.00, Chrome Hummer Letters Bumper $395.00, Custom Tuned Exhaust $2795.00.Which brought the total window sticker to $78,495.00 + Tax. The custom leather interior is Black with H2 in red in the top of the seats with red stitching. It truly looks amazing. It has some super cool add ons. I added billet vents, and removed the original wheels and tires, and ordered new 24inch Dubs Big Homie 8 Chrome wheels, and nitto terra grappler tires. My wholesale cost from my own tire store was $4,850.00. Retail would have been around $6000.00. They ride amazing, and no whine or roar at all. they look brand new,and have less than 6,000 miles on the tires. Never taken off road, looks brand new underneath , never driven on rainy days, never Smoked in, never wrecked, the paint is super super slick, very bright red. No kind of NADA book value will have a add options for the limited edition victory red package. Base price $49,180.00 to $59,840.00. Difference $10,660.00. Nor do they have an add on option for the factory dealer upgrade package $59,840.00 to $78,495.00. Difference $18,655.00. Total difference between a base hummer H2 and this one is $29,315.00. So there is no reason to use your car books on this H2 because it is a totally different ride than the others, and is no comparison. I have had other h2's, and they are great ride's, but if you are looking for one far greater, and you like to stand tall on the road, this one is for you. This has been my toy just like any exotic or muscle car that i have had. this h2 has been treated the same. Please view my feedback as a seller. I have sold some super nice sport cars on Ebay. Shipped sight unseen ,and the buyer's where super happy when they arrived.. but please if you want to drive this baby back if you win the auction, please do so, or come look in person. The photos i took where amazing. The photo quality when i uploaded them on here has made the photos blurry and small. Very poor quality. The photos do it no justice, nor capture the true beauty of the ride. It also has 49,xxx miles and has just had the oil changed. My office number is 423-626-8747. 9-5p.m. Any questions, please call.

GMC's electric Hummer could someday serve alongside the Humvee in the U.S. Army
Tue, Jul 21 2020Every civilian Hummer model traces its roots to AM General's Humvee, which made its combat debut when the United States invaded Panama in 1989. Fast forward to the 2020s, and the tables have turned. The born-again Hummer that will arrive with an electric powertrain and a GMC emblem could spawn a military-spec truck. "[The upcoming Hummer] is a full-size truck with 400 miles of range and 1,000 pound-feet of torque, it's a very highly capable vehicle. That could provide a great base platform for an electric vehicle to be used in the military context," said David Albritton, the president of General Motors Defense, in an interview with GM Authority. Although he didn't sketch out the Hummer's role in a battalion, its range, torque, and dimensions would theoretically make it well-suited to carrying soldiers, weapons, and/or gear like radio equipment. It wouldn't necessarily look like the production model (shown above in a preview image). General Motors Defense might use its basic platform and its powertrain technology to build a purpose-designed off-roader, like it did with the Colorado Infantry Squad Vehicle (ISV) it will soon begin manufacturing for the Army. The ISV shares 90% of its parts with the regular-production Chevrolet Colorado, but the two vehicles look nothing alike. Securing a contract with the American military is easier said than done, and Army officials haven't publicly expressed an interest in sending the upcoming Hummer into a war zone. We'll learn more about what a battle-ready electric truck could look like after the showroom-bound model makes its debut. In the meantime, Humvee production continues, and AM General introduced a comprehensively updated model named NXT 360 in 2018. Related Video: Â Â Green GMC Hummer Truck Electric Military
Low gas prices bring the Hummer back to life
Wed, Nov 12 2014It took more than the high cost of gas to kill off the Hummer brand, but the military/civilian vehicle's near-endless need for fuel didn't help sales when gas prices started to climb. Turns out, there is still a thirst for the gas-devouring vehicle in the US. The evidence is anecdotal at best, but since we know prices at the pump can change car shopping behavior in America, the idea that more people want a Hummer now than they have these past few years doesn't surprise us at all. Gas prices in the US are currently sitting at $2.926 a gallon, on average, much lower than the $3.186 per gallon they were a year ago and below $3 a gallon for the first time since 2010. According to the Washington Post, this is causing a slight uptick in used Hummer H1 sales. With a fuel consumption rate of around 12 miles per gallon, every penny drop in gas prices has a big impact on the H1's running costs. Read more on the newfound Hummer lust at the WaPo, including how online interest in H1s was up 11 percent at Autotrader last month. Late last month, TrueCar issued a report on the recent increase in new vehicle sales of large SUVs and pick-up trucks, thanks to falling fuel costs. TrueCar president John Krafcik said in a statement that, "Hybrid popularity is waning, and the country's love of the full-size pickup truck is remarkable.'' Looks like that love extends to the used lot as well. Anyone know someone who has re-joined the Hummer brigade? Humvee maker AM General reportedly for sale, with interest from FCA, GM
Wed, Oct 3 2018WASHINGTON — AM General has put itself up for sale and has hired investment bank Macquarie Group Ltd to seek potential bidders in a deal that could value the builder of Humvee military vehicles at more than $2 billion, people familiar with the matter said this week. Potential bidders include competitors in the military ground vehicle market, such as General Dynamics, Oshkosh Corp and BAE Systems, according to two people familiar with the matter. Automakers like Fiat Chrysler and General Motors may also be potential buyers. GM licensed Hummer from AM General in 1998 to build civilian SUVs. None of the companies would comment or reply to a request for comment. The South Bend, Indiana-based AM General is currently owned by private equity firms. A possible sale of AM General follows a rash of deals over the past 18 months among defense contractors. But relatively fewer makers of defense equipment have gone on the auction block. Last year, United Technologies acquired Rockwell Collins for $30 billion, and in March, TransDigm Group continued its acquisition spree with a $525 million deal for Extant Components Group. AM General could fetch about 10 times its annual earnings of $160 million, one of the people said. The company's favorable tax treatment because of its current status as an limited liability corporation, would allow a buyer to reduce the company's taxable earnings for 15 years. That coupled with recent contract awards could push the ultimate value of the company to over $2 billion in a sale. The sale, should it happen, comes as the U.S. Army is gearing up for a broad effort to modernize its forces, including seeking prototypes of its Next-Generation Combat Vehicle in fiscal year 2022. Last month, AM General was awarded an Army contract for as many as 2,800 new M997A3 High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle (HMMWV) ambulances. The contract could be worth as much as $800 million if all options were exercised, AM General said at the time. Last year, the Pentagon awarded AM General a $550 million contract to deliver HMMWVs for use as protected weapons carriers, cargo transporters and ambulances to Afghanistan, Iraq, Ukraine, Jordan, Slovenia, Bahrain, Columbia, Bosnia and Kenya as a part of a larger Foreign Military Sales agreement. The sale of AM General offers an opportunity to purchase a prime contractor that delivers a finished product to the Pentagon, and not just an add-on system or service.
