This Hummer has under gone a complete restoration. From new suspension components to power train. My intention
with this Hummer was to eventually drop in a Duramax but I decided to sell because I have a few other projects that
I need to finish. I have put a lot more money than what I will be able to get back but my lose is someone elses
gain. The odometer read 190K miles. Do let the miles scare you, this summer has under gone a complete restoration
that was performed in 2011. The actual miles on the power train are more like 6k miles. We stripped the truck
down to the aluminum shell and off the frame. We added all new suspension components including front and rear sway
bars, powder coated A-frames etc. Everything was insulated from the floor panels to the roof, we used a special
liner/mat that stops the transfer of heat and minimizes outside sound. We then painted the Hummer paint color code
T32 Mojave Tan, a beautiful paint that was used on a few of the 2006 Alpha Hummers. Since it was painted, there
has been some minor scratches on the paint but still very nice. The interior also has received a very clean and
plush upholstery. The sounds system is new 2000 watt set up, sounds great. The AC system was upgrade with all new
components and was installed at the dealer, Tustin Hummer. The power train has been swapped out for a rebuilt 6.5
motor and a new transmission. The beauty of this Hummer is that it has a mechanical fuel delivery system, so no
issues with fuel pump leaving you stranded somewhere. The mechanical fuel pump is a high output pump so it has a
bit more pep than other NA motors. Starts right up in the cold mornings and runs great. I also had some of the
Alpha upgrades done on this like leds lights and Alpha mirrors. It comes with 17" GT rims and 37" tires that have
65% tread left. The roof rack is also included with the purchase. If you want more pictures or ask me questions

Team Miller Fisher finishes the 20th Anniversary Rallye A"icha des Gazelles

Team Miller Fisher has crossed the finish line of the Rallye Aïcha des Gazelles - in a Hummer H3 driven off a Parisian dealer's lot - and battled from 51st to 12th out of 98 teams after a mistake on the first leg. The Rallye Aïcha, a six-stage trek through the desert, allows no use of GPS, no pace notes, no cell phones, and no binoculars. Pilots and co-pilots find their way between checkpoints with maps, compasses and pencils, and whoever completes the journey in the shortest distance, wins.
The race was made even harder this year by using not the 1:100,000-scale maps of years past, but scraps of paper with increasingly less route information as the race went on. Olympic skier and co-pilot Wendy Fisher wrote to say, "This continues to be the hardest thing I have ever done in my life. An unbelievably tough event. Days were SO long, almost impossible to get all of the checkpoints."
