Here is your chance to own a nice Turbo S2000. The car has over $6000 in the Turbo kit alone. Car shows 36,841 miles on a AP2 engine with a AP1 transmission. The turbo kit has less than 700 miles on it. Car has a Precision 6266 Turbo, Full Race turbo manifold, Tial MVR 44mm wastegate, TurboSmart boost controller, Injector Dynamics 1000cc injectors, SOS 3 bar map sensor, Walpro 255 fuel pump, Rywire injector harness, Tial 50mm blowoff valve, ARP head studs, Cometic 2mm head gasket, AEM Series 2 ECU. Also the car has a full 3 inch exhaust into duel Tsudo mufflers. Has a Competition Stage 4 clutch kit, new drilled and slotted rotors and brakes. The wheels are powder coated 17 inch G35 wheels with new Bridgestone Potenza tires. Has H&R lowering springs, anew soft top with a glass back window. New hood shocks, AP2 front bumper, Sony Am/FM remote cd player and a rear spoiler. Has red and black interior and I have the AP1 wheels with new Hankook Ventus tires with less than 1000 miles on them. I have a new Durflex front bumper and side skirt kit that goes with the car. The stock ecu is included along with the ac lines we took off during the build. The ac was working great when it was removed. The electric power steering was working fine till 2 months ago but it is not working right now. This should be a easy fix I just have not had the time to look into it. The car will show a mileage discrepancy due to the engine being changed out by the previous owner. The back fender has some scratches and the bumper plug is missing. The front bumper has a couple of paint cracks. The car starts, runs and handles great. We have not had a professional tune done on the car and we estimate the horsepower to be between 425 and 475 hp. You will not be disappointed in the performance and overall looks of this vehicle. I am willing to answer any questions you may have on it but please call before 1:00 pm CST during the week and any time on the weekend. Call Tony at 931-607-4552 Thank you
PLEASE READ - I require a $300 NON REFUNDABLE deposit within 48 hours of the end of the auction. Also the car is for sale locally and I reserve the right to remove this car at any time unless the reserve is met. I only take cash for the remaining balance of the sale. If this is a problem do not bid. Car must be paid for and picked up within 10 days of the end of auction. If any of this required terms are not met you will loose the right to this car. Sorry but I am tired of fooling around with non paying bidders. I have a 100% feedback rating and I expect to do fair business.

Honda celebrates the life of Ayrton Senna the best way it knows how
Fri, 26 Jul 2013Honda is returning to Formula One in 2015 with McLaren, and when that engine maker and that F1 constructor are mentioned together, two other words are never far behind: Ayrton Senna. There are engine suppliers, constructors and drivers that have bigger numbers, but those three form a triumvirate that came close to defining F1 in the eighties.
Honda Japan has produced a commercial called Sound of Honda that celebrates Senna at a race that turned out to be one of the most momentous of his career for good and bad reasons: the 1989 grand prix at Suzuka where he won, then was stripped of, the driver's championship.
The commercial has a terrifically simple premise - there's no CG, no old footage of Senna, no one says a word, it's just sound. And it's pretty damn good. Check it out below.
Honda, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Mercedes also under diesel emissions scrutiny
Sat, Oct 10 2015The controversy over Volkswagen's diesel emissions scandal isn't limited to the US. In Europe, where diesel engines are far more popular, the issue is shining a harsh light on the NEDC emissions test. As already known, the evaluation does a poor job of reflecting real-world production of NOx, and it appears a significant number of automakers are affected. The Guardian in the UK has been reporting on real-world test results from a company called Emissions Analytics. After the latest round of checks, vehicles from Mercedes-Benz, Honda, Mazda and Mitsubishi were found to generate far more NOx than they should. The newspaper also published similar results for Renault, Nissan, Hyundai, Fiat, Volvo, Jeep, Citroen, VW, and Audi. On average, the figures are about four times over the limit of producing the pollutant. Unlike VW and its defeat device, these automakers aren't actually breaking the rules. The vehicles perform up to the NEDC lab test for emissions, but those results simply aren't translated to the street. "The VW issue in the US was purely the trigger which threw light on a slightly different problem in the EU - widespread legal over-emissions," Nick Molden from Emissions Analytics said to The Guardian. A big fight to decide the future of this issue appears to be on the horizon. Automakers claim that they can't meet the next round of tightening emissions regulations and are asking for compromises. Although, spokespeople for Mercedes and Honda told The Guardian that the brands would be in favor of the stricter rules. Meanwhile, some European governments began backtracking their support of diesels well before this scandal came to light. The added scrutiny certain hasn't helped the future of the oil-burner. Pedestrian deaths increase; cell-phone distractions may be culprit
Fri, Aug 14 2015In Philadelphia, city officials are running a public-safety campaign that implores road users to simply "Put. Phone. Down." In Florida, a similar advertisement reminds people, "Alert Today, Alive Tomorrow." What's unusual about these messages is that they target pedestrians. Amid widespread concern about distracted drivers on American roads, there's a growing body of research that suggests distracted walking is equally problematic. Pedestrians engrossed in their phone, text or Tinder conversations are stepping into intersections without so much as a glance at oncoming traffic. That may be one reason pedestrian deaths are increasing. They jumped 15 percent in a five-year period between 2009 and 2013, according to a study released this week by the Governors Highway Safety Association, with 4,735 killed in 2013. In the same time, overall traffic fatalities have fallen by 3.4 percent. Pedestrian deaths now comprise 14 percent of all traffic fatalities, and approximately one pedestrian death occurs every two hours in the United States. Alcohol is still a top culprit – it's involved in 49 percent of pedestrian deaths on either the part of driver or walker – but as cities rush to implement a wave of slower speed limits, wider sidewalks and street medians to counter pedestrian deaths, there's new focus on holding pedestrians accountable for eliminating distractions. "Undoubtedly, motorists are responsible for many pedestrian accidents," said a July newsletter from the National Motorists Association. "But pedestrians must also assume responsibility for their own safety." This week's report from the GHSA cites growing research that suggests pedestrians aren't yet doing their part. At 20 high-risk intersections, 26 percent of pedestrians wore headphones, 15 percent were texting and 13 percent talked on the phone, according to a 2013 University of Georgia study. More recently, a William Paterson University study issued earlier this year found more than 25 percent of New York City pedestrians were distracted by either their phones or headphones. Half of the pedestrians who crossed with a "Don't Walk" signal were distracted. "Getting smashed at the bar? Don't get smashed walking home." - Minnesota public-safety campaign.
