This is an awesome '01 S2000 in Spa Yellow. It has lot's of extras - stainless exhaust, cold-air intake, ground effects all around, 19" custom wheels, and sound system. It's very clean, inside and out. The power top is great. It's been inspected, serviced, and tested, and is Carfax Certified with no prior damage history. There are no apparent problems, unresolved issues, warning lights, etc. We stand behind it with our customer satisfaction policy*.

Let's face it - it's rare that nice cars actually sell on eBay. Mostly, they'll bid up to about 80% of the wholesale value - which is about as much as most people are willing to pay without knowing more about a car than can be communicated in an eBay listing. While we sell a lot of cars to eBay buyers, it's almost always after they've contacted us and learned enough to feel comfortable with it's value. In the event of the rare actual online sale, we will contact the buyer by email after the transaction closes. Please respond by phone within 24 hours to confirm your intention to buy. The buyer of this vehicle must send (via PayPal, wire or overnight courier) $500 deposit within 3 business days, the balance and delivery must take place 7 days after the close of final bid. Please note: If the deposit is not received within 3 business days, we reserve the right to consider the transaction void and re-list or sell to another customer. The sale must be completed within 7 days after the auction closes. If we cannot confirm your intention to buy within one day, or the sale is not completed within 7 days, we reserve the right to re-list this vehicle or sell to another customer. The buyer pays for shipping. While we will help and advise throughout the process, all shipping arrangements are up to the winning bidder. Most of our cars have had door dings removed and rock chips professionally touched up as needed. The exterior and interior have been completely detailed. Please be aware, however, that you are bidding on a used car. This vehicle has been driven and has been subjected to normal wear and tear, both cosmetically and mechanically. Hurricane Sandy was the largest Atlantic storm in US history, and its total economic impact is just now coming into view. According to Automotive News, Toyota, Chrysler, Nissan and Honda are set to scrap around 15,000 new vehicles ruined by the storm. Nissan alone accounts for about 40 percent of those, with 6,000 Nissan and Infiniti models deeded "un-saleable" due to damage. The company saw 56 dealerships shuttered due to the storm, but 51 of those have since reopened. Toyota, meanwhile, had some 4,000 vehicles at its Newark port facility, and of those, 3,000 may be scrapped. An additional 825 were dealer inventory when they were ruined. Honda and Acura dealers are reportedly sending 3,440 vehicles to the salvage yard. By comparison, Chrysler weathered the storm fairly well with 825 units destroyed, while Hyundai suffered only 400 lost units and Kia scrapped around 200. As you may recall, Fisker also suffered some losses, and Automotive News reports the manufacturer saw 320 Karma models damaged beyond repair. Ford and General Motors have yet to come up with estimates, and no automaker has commented on the full cost of replacing the vehicles.
Honda still has its headquarters in Japan and offices all over the world, but expect to hear a little less Japanese from the automaker in the coming years. A small statement in the business' latest sustainability report (available here as a PDF) announces English will become the official language for interregional communication by 2020. Honda believes that the change should foster better contact between countries as Japan becomes a less central focus for the company. As part of this shift, any documents or questions during interregional meetings, plus any other information being shared between territories, must be in English. To put some extra weight behind the mandate, the ability to speak the language is going to be a requirement for future promotions to management. In the meantime, "Honda has implemented measures in Japan that include study programs aimed at boosting English language skills," the sustainability report said. According to Automotive News, former CEO Takanobu Ito called the idea of making English an official language for company communications "stupid" five years ago. Although even under his watch, things were changing. In 2013, Honda adopted English as the main form of discourse in global meetings. The decision to lessen the focus on Japanese within Honda stems in part from changing worker demographics and major sales regions. According to Automotive News, 81 percent of the company's production comes from outside of Japan, and the country only accounts for about a third of the workforce. Also, 40 percent of global sales are from North America. Honda is quickly transitioning into a more global company in general. For example, the latest Civic Type R is assembled in the UK but has an engine from the US. Also, North America is getting the European made Civic five-door hatchback for the venerable model's next generation. English as the Official Language Setting English as the official language in inter- regional communications It is vital to develop an environment that achieves close communication between associates in six regions worldwide in order for the Honda Group to display its comprehensive capabilities while local sites are independent.
Honda and Acura are the next manufacturers to jump on the NACS bandwagon, and while we heard the first official rumblings in Monterey, today is Honda’s (and AcuraÂ’s) official announcement. The first EV that Honda will launch with the NACS port will be in 2025. Just like every other automaker making the switch, Honda says it reached an agreement with Tesla to adopt the charging port. After that first Honda with the NACS port launches, every new Honda and Acura EV model in North America will have the same port. However, just like many others, Honda and Acura will have EVs on sale prior to 2025 that will ship with the current Combined Charging System (CCS) port. These models will be designed to be compatible with NACS use via a charging adapter, so youÂ’ll ultimately be able to charge them via Tesla Superchargers one day. Outside of this Tesla NACS agreement, Honda says the news today doesnÂ’t change its joint venture with seven other automakers to build an EV charging network and expand the number of charging stations available for all.
