2010 Honda Pilot Ex-l Res Sport Utility 4-door 3.5l. Low Miles - Private Seller! on 2040-cars
Saint Louis, Missouri, United States
Hello:
You are bidding on our 2010 Honda Pilot EX-L RES. We purchased this new in February of 2010 from Honda of Frontenac in St. Louis, and as you can see by the miles it isn't driven much. We still have the original window sticker as well. In addition to being fully loaded from the factory, we purchased the following additional genuine Honda accessories:
In addition, we just put new Michelin Latitude Tour tires on all four corners. We baby our cars, and this is just about as close to new as you will find. You will see from the photos that there is a small scratch on the top of the front bumper, and another small scuff on the front left lower part of the bumper. We have no idea where these came from, but our guess is a shopping cart. Other than that, there are no scratches anywhere on the car. The photos speak for themselves (although perhaps I should have cleaned the engine compartment, but given the small amount of dirt under the hood you can see it's a low mileage car). If you're here looking, you know what great cars these are. We've been very happy with it, but it's time for it to find a new home. Buyer is responsible for any shipping costs, or of course you can come pick it up in person. A $1,000 non-refundable deposit is required within 24 hours of your winning bid, and final payment with certified funds is required before I will release the car to you. We own it free and clear, so there will be no delay for a lien release, etc. Our Pilot is also for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end this listing if it sells locally first. Please let me know if you have any questions at all, and thanks for looking! |

Honda is first Japanese carmaker to be a net-exporter from US
Wed, 29 Jan 2014Over the last decade or so, many foreign automakers have challenged the idea of what defines an "American car," but Honda took things a step further last year by exporting more cars out of the US than it imported in. Reuters is reporting that in 2013, a total of 108,705 Honda and Acura models were exported from the US with only 88,357 being shipped in. This gives Honda a net exporter status here, and makes it the first of such among the major Japanese automakers.
Honda's US imports have been dropping over the last five years while its exports have been steadily increasing. In 2008, the report indicates that Honda shipped 187,000 vehicles to the US and exported only 20,000, and even by 2012 Honda still favored imports with 136,000 imports and 74,000 exports. The article says that US-made Honda and Acura vehicles were exported to 50 countries with most ending up in Mexico, but the big news is that the Honda's US production set a record in 2013 with 1.3 million units built.
Recharge Wrap-up: Ford announces e-bike project, Honda Accord Hybrid availability catches up
Thu, Mar 5 2015Supplies of the Honda Accord Hybrid have apparently caught up with demand. Honda originally launched the Accord Hybrid for the 2014 model year, but lack of availability plagued interested customers and eager dealers alike. Honda cited "component supply constraints" - likely batteries, electric motors and the like - for the lack of available vehicles. Now, "The supply of Accord Hybrids in general is in line with the supply of the regular Accord sedan," according to Honda's Angie Nucci. Read more at Green Car Reports. Apple is seeking a resolution to a lawsuit accusing the company of poaching employees from lithium-ion battery maker A123 Systems. A123 has requested a court order stopping a former employer from breaking an employment agreement, as well as keeping Apple from encouraging the person to do so. Apple has requested more time to respond to that court order. A123 has also filed a suit accusing five employees of breaking nondisclosure agreements and going or trying to go to work for Apple. Insiders say that Apple is developing an electric car that could go into production as early as 2020. Read more at Automotive News. South Dakota's Ethanol Infrastructure Incentive Program is helping retailers fund ethanol storage. The state government has set aside $300,000 as part of the program to fund ethanol storage tanks at gas stations. The program, which originally set out to reimburse retailers for building ethanol flex-pumps, is now helping them expand their ethanol capacities. Retailers can apply for funds for pumps and storage through June 30. Read more at Argus Leader. Ford is expanding its Global Mobility Plan with the Handle on Mobility electric bike experiment. The foldable MoDe:Me e-bike is for personal use and commuting, while the MoDe:Pro is built for commercial duty, with both powered by a 200-watt motor and 9-amp-hour battery. The bikes use an iPhone app called MoDe:Link, which provides various information and controls important bike functions. Through the app, the bikes offer navigation (with traffic data, available public transportation and charging locations included), with handlebar vibrations letting the rider know when and where to turn and automatically activating turn signals. The bike can sense and alert the rider to other vehicles on the roadway. Pedal assist is based on heart rate, allowing the rider to arrive at their destination comfortably. Acura to roll out NSX Prototype for Mid-Ohio IndyCar race
Thu, 25 Jul 2013Acura will tease us yet again with its next-gen NSX when it makes an appearance at Mid-Ohio Raceway before the circuit's IndyCar race early next month. To be fair, the car's in-motion debut won't take the form of a production model - that's still a ways off - the vehicle will be a prototype. It'll be sporting custom graphics and an eye-catching paint (wrap?) job to draw the attention of the spectators, but really, we just want to hear this thing rounding the legendary road course at full chat.
The NSX prototype doesn't look to be much different from the various showcars we've seen over the last couple of years, with the same mid-engined, hybrid V6 power and all-wheel drive all present and accounted for.
The display will take place before the Honda Indy 200 IndyCar Series on August 4. The race itself starts at 3:00 pm and will be shown on NBC Sports Network.
