2014 Honda Odyssey Ex-l Mini Passenger Van 4-door 3.5l on 2040-cars

I am selling this vehicle for a friend. It is in great condition. It has been garage kept and well maintained. It has a wheelchair lift installed. It mounts to the EXISTING Honda chair cleats which means it can be removed with no evidence that it was ever there. The third seat is folded under the lift (they fold down for hauling cargo). Nothing has been removed or modified to make room for the lift. This is a quality lift - ALL YOU DO IS PUSH A BUTTON! You don't have to unfold, lift or remove anything, just push the button and it comes out or goes in all by itself! And it goes IN the van, it's not hanging outside on the back. The van has automatic side and rear doors so you don't even have to open the tailgate yourself! Way cool!
The van has all the normal options that are too many to list - it sold for a little over $38K (list was of course, way more) before the lift was installed which was another $4500. Honestly, it has more bells and whistles than I can figure out - it has TWO video screens! I am not sure if it has navigation - likely. It has little compartments all over, front and rear air, and of course, a gob of cup holders. He had after market mats in it since he bought it so the original mats are like new and are spotless. It also has a trailer hitch. Title is in hand. Owner was non smoker. Vehicle purchased in Louisiana in December of last year. I drove it for a day and could not find anything that does not work as it should - this vehicle is in excellent condition. U.S. Sales only. Buyer responsible for delivery. $500 deposit due within 24 hrs. Payment by bank transfer or cashiers check (vehicle can not be picked up until funds are in our bank). I will answer any questions through Ebay or call me at (318)464-5364. No dealers please. |

2015 Honda CR-V
Tue, Mar 10 2015Honda sold 335,000 CR-Vs in 2014, meaning the long-running compact CUV accounted for one in every four Honda-badged vehicles sold. And honestly, it's not too difficult to see why. It's efficient, comfortable, reasonably well equipped and reliable, much as it has always been. While it's arguably the least-exciting entry in what is, to be frank, a fairly dull class, the CR-V has always been remarkably competent at being all the vehicle its customers could possibly need. The facelifted 2015 model is all of those things and more, as we found out during a full week at the helm. Honda has been remarkably consistent in the slow evolution of the CR-V's styling over the years. If you were to compare the rear of the third-generation model (released way back in 2007 and updated in 2010) with the back of this fourth-generation version (released in 2012 and freshened for this most recent model year) you'd be hard pressed to tell one from the other. The 2007 model featured tall taillights that got wider at the bottom, while a low rear bumper, large aperture and upright tailgate made access to the rear cargo area a piece of cake... just like the 2015 model shown above. Honda has been more progressive in front for its new CR-V, however, retaining the same wide, canted headlights and three-slat grille that first appeared in 2012, but this time lining them in LED accents (as is the trend nowadays). As for the interior, the material quality is easily among the best in this fiercely competitive segment, with soft, attractive dashboard plastics. We aren't crazy about the faux leather stitching, although that's true on a lot of vehicles in this class. Other accents, like the thin strip of faux wood at the bottom of the dash, look good and have a quality feel. The leather-wrapped steering wheel is a nice item, too, and we couldn't be happier about Honda's decision to replace the old-fashioned ruched leather on the seats with cleaner, tauter hides. Those seats are quite wide and comfortable, as well, although they aren't exploding with side support for cornering (it's a Honda CR-V, after all). Visibility is excellent fore, aft and laterally, regardless of how you set up the seat. In back, leg and headroom are both in abundance, while the bench seat should prove adequate throughout a family's normal use, or on long drives. That isn't to say there aren't problems in the cabin, though.
Honda next to open museum to Google Street View
Mon, 14 Oct 2013Had your fill of tooling around the Lamborghini Museum on Google Street View? Maybe Italian supercars aren't your thing? Then we've got good news, because The House That Ferruccio Built isn't the only automotive museum in cyberspace: now the Honda Collection Hall has opened its doors to the crew from Mountain View, too.
The Honda Collection Hall, for those who haven't made it out to Japan's Tochigi Prefecture, is a grand three-story museum dedicated to all things Honda. It's located at the Twin Ring Motegi, and has been open since 1998. Inside visitors will find everything from robots and scooters to SUVs and racing cars. But if you can't make it there in person, you can check out all three levels of floorspace on Street View right from the comfort of your home. Check out the images above and the interactive map below.
Honda S660 Concept portends a new kei car for 2015
Wed, 20 Nov 2013Apart from a tiny, one-paragraph mention in a press release about the Honda show stand in general, the company hasn't said very much about its completely charming S660 Concept. The model would seem very much to be a look ahead at a possible successor to the Beat kei car for Japanese customers, though we've been told that we shouldn't expect any kind of translation or product for the American market (despite certain key executives wanting more sports cars in the US).
Honda tells us only that the S660 roadster features "advanced styling" and "new initiatives such as Super cockpit interior." We do think that the confines of the S660 look particularly driver-focused, with a carbon fiber steering wheel clad in soft leather, very racy looking vented seats and instruments tilted to keep the pilot constantly informed.
Honda President and CEO, Takanobu Ito, also touched on the S660 in his remarks at the press conference, saying that the model "embodies the freewheeling thinking of young Honda engineers, who want to make a cool car that is unique to Honda." Takanobu also said that the concept will be developed into a production model for 2015, which is great news for Japanese drivers.
