2006 Honda Odyssey Ex-l Mini Passenger Van 4-door 3.5l on 2040-cars
Summerville, South Carolina, United States
This vehicle is in great condition! It is sharp and has all the bells and whistles if you are needing convenience!! This car runs so smooth like it is brand new. I have never had any problems since I have owned it the last 2 years. I purchased in Blythewood South Carolina from someone who bought it at auction to sell. The previous owner was from Pennsylvania. I was hesitant in purchasing this car because it had been in a minor accident, that is a red flag for me when I am purchasing a car. I found out the accident was hitting a deer on the right front corner which did minimal damage, no damage to engine, hood, or windshield, just the right bumper. So that accident to me was not a big deal. However, I was looking for this particular year because I did a lot of research and the 2006 HONDA ODYSSEY had the best reviews and the least problems with anything!!! I can attest to that, and I had several friends that had bought brand new that year and mine looks, sounds no different. The only thing we have had to do, standard, is the 100,000 mi check up on it and we did. With that, we got a new timing belt and brand NEW TIRES!! We have never smoked in this vehicle nor did the previous owners.
The inside is sharp, no major scratches on inside doors and everything inside is CLEAN, REALLY CLEAN! The floors come with Honda's floor rugs and all have been shampooed, in great condition!!! The leather is in excellent condition!!! On the drivers side there is minor fading which is expected, but we tinted front passenger and driver side windows to prevent any more issues. Everything in this car works beautiful, very convenient to use the 6 DISC CD changer. The middle also has an extra seat in the floor for extra seating, but we preferred the 4 bucket seats. The outside has minor damage to PAINT only on back right corner bumper that was there when I purchased it, it was so clean not one mark was going to deter me!! The van has been touched up, detailed and waxed ready for it's next home. My 4 boys are old enough and out of car seats and 1 is going to college, so we don't need a van anymore!!! My wife wasn't much of a van lover, but loved this van while she had it, she is just ready to get back into her SUV!! Buyer is responsible for shipping vehicle or picking it up. Serious inquires only. |

Cadillac Celestiq and Honda Civic Type R revealed | Autoblog Podcast #740
Fri, Jul 29 2022In this episode of the Autoblog Podcast, Editor-in-Chief Greg Migliore is joined by Senior Editor, Green, John Beltz Snyder. They kick things off by talking about the latest vehicle reveals, specifically the Cadillac Celestiq show car and the 2023 Honda Civic Type R. They discuss Chevy's move to offer incentives to help prevent customers from flipping the new Corvette Z06. Greg has spent time behind the wheel of the 2022 Range Rover First Edition, while John has been driving the 2023 Genesis GV60 Performance. From the mailbag, a listener is looking to replace a 2003 Subaru Forester with something that can hold three dog crates and gets decent fuel economy. Another listener asks whether to keep a 2008 Porsche 911 Turbo or replace it with a 992-generation 911 for which he is awaiting an allocation. Question of the Day: Ever consider driving a minivan?
Thu, May 12 2016Since I'm supposed to know something about cars, it happens all the time: friends and relatives ask me advice about what kind of vehicle they should get. Very often, the only type of vehicle that can check every item on their wish list (e.g., hauls lots of people and stuff, gets good fuel economy, has great crash-test ratings, can take four Great Danes camping, and so on) is a modern minivan... and, of course, nobody wants to hear this. I'm not a minivan person, they will wail, and so they end up with a cramped, fuel-swilling SUV or a not-so-space-efficient minivan-in-disguise CUV. So, is it worth becoming one of those minivan people in order to get the incredible usefulness of these masterpieces of vehicle engineering, or do you hold your head high and drive something that doesn't quite meet your needs?
