------NO RESERVE AUCTION!!!------

------Rust-free Southern California car------

Fun, safe and easy-to-drive minivan from Honda.  This popular EX model is equipped with all the bells and whistles: auto climate control air conditioning with separate front/rear controls, power windows, power driver seat, power door locks etc.  Everything works...drive it away with no problems!  Both power side doors can be operated automatically from the drivers side dash or simply pull the handle and the motor takes over to open/close.  Fold-down rear seat disappears leaving a flat loading surface.  Center seats can be easily rearranged laterally or clip them out entirely if you need even more storage room.  Powerful 3.5L V-Tec V-6 engine provides plenty of power when needed and gives you good economy as well.  I get over 20 hwy-16/17 city.  Optional security alarm installed disables engine from starting when activated (possibly good for insurance rates).  Sony AM/FM/CD with removable face plate sounds great with standard 1/8" stereo input for music MP3 or your favorite smartphone (talk hands free and legal).  Smoke-free vehicle.

I am second owner.  The car normally carries me and a bicycle or two in the back.  The bicycle and accessories pictured are not included in the sale (wooden piece holding bike not mounted...slips in/out).  A few small dings appear here and there provided by the first owner... exterior not perfect, but good.  One small rear-end collision from behind 7/2012 while slowing for light.  Resulting small dent below rear door handle and bumper (pictured) does not affect operation.

Documentation available if needed:

4 Brand new tires installed 1/19/13 @ 147977 miles.

Honda Civic Wagon Concept to debut at Geneva

Wed, 06 Feb 2013

Honda is getting warmed up for the upcoming Geneva Motor Show, with a sketch of some very Euro-flavored forbidden fruit. Seen above (click on the image to see an expanded view) is the Honda Civic Wagon Concept Model - a rather tentative name for a car that Honda claims "provides strong cues for the exterior design of the final mass produced version."
The sketch seen here is obviously very stylized, but we think that if Honda can stay true to its sleek rounded forms and aggressive silhouette, the final product could be quite fetching. Note that this is an image handed out by Honda of Europe, for a European auto show - we have every expectation that that any production-ready Civic wagon will be a Europe-only deal. Sorry, guys.
Find Honda's brief press release below, which also includes news of the European debut of the updated NSX Concept we saw at January's Detroit Auto Show, along with a diesel-powered CR-V.

Honda CEO: electric vehicles are a 'core technology'

Mon, Jul 6 2015

The production version of Honda's hydrogen-powered FCEV concept remains on target for release in Japan by March 2016, and it's going to be followed by at least two more vehicles that have some form of electric powertrain. Probably more than two, but we can't be more specific than that. This is what we learned today from a speech by the new president and CEO of Honda Motor Company, Takahiro Hachigo. Speaking about the two main themes he sees for the future of the automaker (the six-region global operation structure and "continuous development of challenging products unique to Honda"), Hachigo once again confirmed an on-sale date for the production version of the FCEV concept that Honda has been trotting out at auto shows for a few years now as happening, "before the end of the current fiscal year" which ends March 31, 2016. He also said something broader about the company's vision for electric cars: "As the next-generation of mobility products, Honda will evolve products that use electricity as a core technology," he said. While we don't yet know what the electric vehicle products are, Hachigo's statements echo those of Mike Accavitti, senior vice president of American Honda, from when the FCEV concept was unveiled: "The Honda FCEV Concept not only sets our direction for our next generation fuel-cell vehicle in 2015, but for future improvements in electric drive technology." Honda previously promised new all-electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles by 2018, and today's comments signal that that plan is still in place. Things may change though, since Honda's original release date for the FCEV was 2015. Related Video: Summary of CEO Speech on July 6, 2015 TOKYO, Japan, July 6, 2015 - The new President & CEO of Honda Motor Co., Takahiro Hachigo, unveiled his future vision for the company. He highlighted two themes that the new "Team Honda" will pursue: I want to create a new Honda under two themes. < Two themes to be pursued for the new Honda > 1. Advancement of the six-region global operation structure 2. Continuous development of challenging products unique to Honda and delivering them to our customers around the world Let me talk about my vision for the future of Honda which will be established as we pursue these themes. The key word is "Team Honda." < Future of Honda – My thoughts based on personal experiences "at the spot"> Honda's strength is that team/project members share one goal and take on challenges and attain high targets.
