This Honda is a one owner non-smoker car. The interior is in excellent condition just needs a little cleaning because we have kids. It has front and rear A/C, third row seating, power windows and locks and everything works great. The tags are good till mid 2015 and the tires are only two weeks old and the brakes are only a few months old. The car is currently driven every day but the transmission has started to slip when you come to a stop. It goes back into gear when you push the gas pedal and all the gears shift great but it has the slipping problem when you stop. My mechanic says it needs to be rebuilt and he said it will be $800 to fix the problem, If you fix the trans I am sure you will have the car for many many years. Our Honda has never given us a problem and has low miles and is very dependable. We bought it new and have always taken care of it. We haven't had any problems and other than the trans. There are no surprises or any other problems at all. I made the price so that whoever buys it can fix it and still have less than $2,000 into the vehicle. The Kelly Blue Book is a little more than $3,000 so the price is right. If you would like my mechanic to fix it he is fully certified and could do the work in about two days for the price quoted. Honda Walking Assist Device begins US testing at Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago

For years, we've been wondering what implications Honda's Asimo robot could have in the real world, and now we're starting to get a sense of that. Honda announced that it will begin its first US clinical studies of the Walking Assist Device at the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago in an effort to provided improved mobility for people who have suffered a stroke. While the automotive tie-in here is pretty weak, this is the first time we've heard about this device since it was unveiled back in 2008.
Weighing in at six pounds, Honda's device is fitted to the waist and legs of patients to make it easier to walk, and the 22.2-volt lithium-ion battery provides enough electricity for more than an hour of operation. According to Honda's press release, which is posted below, up to 80 percent of the almost 800,000 stroke victims each year (in the US alone) are afflicted with limited mobility, so a medical aid like this could have a big impact in the real world.

Lather, Rinse, Repeat
On some level, it's hard to blame Honda for the strategy it took with its new-for-2012 Civic. Executives looked at the key players on the market as the model was being developed, soaked in the growing global economic malaise, and decided that if they wanted to make decent money on their small car, they'd have to find creative ways to take cost out of its build. In light of the financial crisis, consumers and critics would surely understand some belt-tightening in order to secure the company's legendary reliability, resale value and ease-of-use, right?
So Honda took a pass on expensive new technology - more complex transmissions, forced induction, active aero, and so on. And it also substituted in some cheaper interior materials, skimped on sound deadening, creature comforts and found lots of little ways to save money. Surely in a segment where the frankly ancient and moth-eaten Toyota Corolla has consistently ranked among the sales leaders, nobody would care, eh?

Hondas pretty much last forever, and that's exactly the message the Japanese automaker wants to convey in this latest ad for the 2015 CR-V. It's called Endless Road, created by McGarryBowen in London, and it shows the new midsize crossover driving in a hypnotic, infinite loop. According to AdWeek, this endless road is supposed to convey Honda's never-ending quest to create the best, most advanced CR-V possible. You can see a shortened, embeddable version of the ad above, but what's really cool is the interactive portion that's only available on Honda's YouTube channel. It uses real-time weather data to show the CR-V infinitely driving through day or night, depending on what's happening in your specific part of the world.
