This is a 2006 model Honda Insight , the odometer is 88345 miles , the car is a Texas RUST free car , looks and runs fine with a good clean interior , nothing torn or worn out , the a/c is cold and the gas engine runs great as well as the 5 spd transmission which shifts smooth the way should be , the clutch feels good with no issue . how ever the IMA light is on and not functioning and the car runs only on the gas power, it seems the battery for the electric motor should be repair or replaced or something related to the battery charging system, otherwise car runs fine on the gas engine with no issue . the exterior and interior is in great condition and do not even show any signs of repair in the past ,however it has rebuilt BLUE Texas title. Please see Title section below for specifics regarding title transfer to you. It's an easy process and title is in our possession and ownership and ready to be transferred to you. Texas bidders, please contact us before bidding! We need to speak regarding taxes, fees and registration procedures, if you are registering the car in Texas, there are fees for title, license and taxes as well as documentary and inventory fees . So, please contact us first so we can talk - We are willing to try and find a way to make everyone happy. BIDDING TERMS: If you have a zero feedback score, we ask that you email us PRIOR to bidding to introduce yourself. We do this simply because we have had experiences with less-than-forthright bidders who disappear after the auction is over, which only causes frustration and raises the bid on our real, human bidders with actual intent to complete the sale. We reserve the right to cancel bids on zero feedback bidders that do not follow through with this request. Title: You will be supplied with a Good blue Texas title and a bill of sale from us. Title is ready and available to either hand to you for registration in your state or possibly get temporary tags until which time you can register car in your name. Car will NOT come with license plates, so you will have to either trailer the car, or obtain insurance so you can then get a temporary license plate from the D.O.T. - Either way, all documents are in order for transfer. Again, to reiterate what we said at the top of our ad, if you are going to register the car in TEXAS, please contact us FIRST, BEFORE bidding. There may be additional fees and additional procedures. All other bidders from all other areas, title will be signed over and handed to you, so you can obtain registration in your state. Please, please, PLEASE, read everything here so there are no surprises. We like for our sales to go as smoothly as possible, so ask questions BEFORE you bid. It is unacceptable for a buyer to show up on delivery day and be surprised about something that is clearly listed in the description. We are here to answer questions, so please ask, Deposit and payment: Deposit of $500 is due immediately after auction end to our PayPal account. Remainder is due within 3 days. We will not accept PayPal for the remainder, unless you cover the transfer fee. If you require a special agreement for payment, please contact us prior to bidding. Thank you. |

Honda renews trademark for Acura CDX compact crossover
Wed, Jan 31 2018Honda recently renewed its U.S. trademark for the name "CDX," which the Japanese carmaker first applied for in 2015. Back then, observers expected the name to apply to an Acura version of the Honda HR-V, and they were right — but no one expected the CDX would go on sale only in China, in 2016. For the past two years, the U.S. auto media has speculated on whether the CDX will ever make it here. "(We) have our R&D guys looking into the possibility," group VP of Acura U.S. Jon Ikeda told Wards Auto last April about the CDX. However, he went on to note that it's not as simple as just shipping it over due to regulation differences between China and the United States. The trademark application doesn't mean a green light, but it shows Honda's at least leaving the door open to the prospect. The Chinese-market CDX is a Honda HR-V after a wardrobe change. The only engine option is the 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder from the Civic, CR-V, and Accord, with 179 horsepower and 177 pound-feet (our HR-V uses a 1.8-liter four-cylinder with 141 hp and 127 lb-ft). The only transmission offered is an eight-speed dual-clutch gearbox. Drivetrains can be had in front- or all-wheel drive. We wonder how much longer Honda can sit on the sidelines. The CDX doubled Acura's sales in China in one year. Acura sells more crossovers than sedans in the United States, and in the past two years that the CDX has been on sale in China, the compact crossover segment here has got more crowded and more popular. The Cadillac XT4 is imminent, and we could see the new Lexus UX compact crossover at the Geneva Motor Show. Really, an American-market Acura CDX can't come soon enough. 2016 Honda Pilot First Drive [w/video]
Wed, May 20 2015For all it had going for it, the second-generation Honda Pilot was stung by one undeniable fact: it looked like a big, boxy SUV at a time when consumer favor was shifting towards car-based crossovers. For 2016, though, Honda is offering a third-generation Pilot that not only does away with the old model's brutalist looks, but also adopts bleeding-edge safety technology and fuel-efficient powertrains. The Pilot's new styling still doesn't really work, to our eyes. That's not because of the CR-V-inspired headlights or Accord-derived grille. It's not even because of the horizontally oriented, reshaped taillights. The biggest problem with the Pilot is its profile. The hood is an inch lower for 2016, and the CUV is 3.5 inches longer than its predecessor with an extra inch ahead of the front axle. Simply put, the proportions are out of whack. The hood is too short, the passenger compartment too large, and the beltline too low. It's little wonder then that both Autoblog staffers and readers have pointed out the 2016 Pilot's minivan-like resemblance. Changes underneath the Pilot's sheetmetal are just as drastic. Honda incorporated a mix of high-strength steel, aluminum, and even magnesium to create the CUV's new bones. Taken as a whole, our top-of-the-line Elite tester is 286 pounds lighter than the previous model, while being 25 percent more rigid overall. Aside from some penny pinching in the cabin – the hard plastic on the top of the rear door panels is particularly egregious – the Pilot's interior is home to soft-touch plastics, quality leather, and handsome piano black accents. Front passengers are treated to broad, comfortable, power seats, complete with heating and ventilation (depending on trim). What they lack in outright support through the turns, they make up for in long-haul comfort. Honda will continue to sell the Pilot with seating for eight, but for the very first time, it's also offering a pair of captain's chairs in place of the second-row bench. Either setup is comfortable, though the seven-passenger layout allows easier access to the third row. As for the way-back, it can accommodate two kids or two adults in a pinch, but we aren't sure how Honda thinks three humans of any size will fit back there. Happily, Honda ditched the two-screen center stack setup found elsewhere in its model range. The Pilot's ample eight-inch display (standard on the Touring and Elite trims) has menus that are easy to manage.
Honda Civic Tourer reminds us why we love wagons
Tue, 10 Sep 2013It was the early 1990s when the last Honda Civic Wagon graced our shores, looking more like a squat five-door hatchback with an extra dose of charm. Well, Honda debuted the newest Civic Wagon Tourer at the Frankfurt Motor Show today, but, as we reported last month, it's a European model that will go on sale there early next year. There's still no word of it coming to the US.
The Civic Tourer was designed by Honda's European studio, and its overall look comes across as more muscular, sporty and stylish than both the sedan and two-door coupe, with bulging fenders and revised windows. Adrian Killham, large project leader for the Civic Tourer, has commented on the styling, saying, "Recently launched cars have tended to follow a similar style. The Civic Tourer has a different balance and appeal." We appreciate the sentiment, and the Tourer's shape is a big reason why we like it.
But we also like the 22 cubic feet of cargo space with the rear seats up, which grows to a gargantuan 59 cubic feet with the rear seats folded down. The big Civic will be powered by either a 1.8-liter four-cylinder petrol engine with i-VTEC or a 1.6-liter Earth Dreams i-DTEC diesel engine. Manual and automatic transmissions will be offered.
