2007 Honda Fit sport,I bought this car directly from HKS USA, It was their SEMA show car in 2008. Car and Driver did a feature on in their Dec 2008 issue, Ebay won't allow links in ads, but it's easy to google the article. Car has HKS turbo, coil overs, hi power exhaust, Volk TE37 wheels with newer Toyo;s JDM LED tails, and black accented headlight buckets. All these items were done in house by HKS, I replaced the Kenstyle body kit with the factory sport aero spoilers and side skirts. The car is 50 state emissions legal, as well as CARB legal and retains the state compliance decal. It gets around 32 mpg combined, never smoked in , never crashed, all original paint excluding the bumpers.Driven by an adult, serviced every 4k miles mobil one. Car comes with original window sticker, registrations in HKS name, all owners manuals, as well as complete file on build from HKS. It's been a blast of a daily driver for me for the last three years, now someone else can enjoy this unique and cool car. Inspections welcome, located in WLA Mark 310-666-7156

Honda Tourer BTCC car lavished with photographic love

Wed, 19 Mar 2014

Back in December, Honda Yuasa Racing gave us one image of the Civic Tourer entrant it's fielding in the 2014 British Touring Car Championship. Thanks to media days at Brands Hatch and a few photos from Oulton Park, we've got a whole photo album of the elongated Civic that will attempt to continue Honda's BTCC winning ways and shots of drivers Gordon Shedden and Matt Neal.
This is the first wagon to race in the BTCC since 1994, when Jan Lammers and Rickard Rydel had just one year to throw the Volvo 850 Estate BTCC between the kerbing. The following year, the rules were changed so that rear wings couldn't extend above the roofline or beyond the rear bumper, which meant the end of Volvo's blue and white "pizza delivery wagon."
The season begins on March 30 at Brands Hatch, when Shedden and Neal will begin trying to wrest the driver's championship crown from Pirtek Racing. We don't know anything more about the manufacturer entry go-fast Civic Tourer, however, which means this is just an easy feast for the eyes. Because racing wagon.

Honda discontinuing Euro Accord, no replacement in sight

Wed, 22 Oct 2014

Honda has built two Accords for many years. There's the one we're familiar with here in the United States, and then there's the Accord sold in markets like Europe and Australia, known here in the US as the Acura TSX. But just like Acura did with the TSX, the Euro-market Accord has been discontinued.
The news comes from The Motor Report in Australia, which is reporting that the Accord Euro will be discontinued in 2015. Sold Down Under alongside the US-market model, the discontinuation of the Aussie car indicates an end to Honda's midsize sedan efforts in Europe, where there is no obvious replacement for the four-door and wagon models.
According to TMR, Honda Australia Director Stephen Collins indicated that focus will be placed instead on the US market "wide-body" model, as it's known. That said, this decision doesn't sound like it's sitting too well in Oz.

Former Honda CEOs chide current boss about quality

Thu, 13 Nov 2014

Taking charge of a major corporation will never be without its challenges, and one of those - as Honda CEO Takanobu Ito is finding out - is filling the big shoes of those that came before. Ito's predecessors are apparently not pleased with what he's doing to the company, and are wasting no time in telling him so.
According to Reuters, two former Honda chiefs have recently visited Ito (pictured above with his predecessor Takeo Fukui) to talk to him about the Japanese automaker's quality issues, which they apparently regard as eroding the company's image. Nobuhiko Kawamoto, who served as CEO from 1990-98, reportedly came to Honda headquarters in Tokyo to deliver "stern words" to Ito last month. Kawamoto's immediate successor, Hiroyuki Yoshino, reportedly met with Ito under similar circumstances earlier this year.
Kawamoto and Yoshino are part of a larger group of former Honda executives who are concerned with the declining quality of the company's products under Ito's leadership. Where Honda once focused more on quality, collaborating more closely with parts suppliers, more recently the company has, in the eyes of those former executives at least, shifted its focus to quantity and to new technologies. That's what, the report alleges, has led to Honda recalling so many of its vehicles in recent years.
