Here's a real nice 1 owner Element in the rare Fiji Blue Pearl ... very sharp with the silver pin stripe! This color is not easy to find and looks nice on the Element.

This one has an automatic trans, factory fog lights, sunroof, cruise control and all other EX options. Also has a bra, factory Honda ventshades and rear louver. Includes original owners manual, 2x original Honda remotes and 3x keys total (all orig Honda)
Very well maintained. Tires are about 1/2-2/3 tread and are the Goodyear Assurance 'Fuel Max' also oil/filter was changed with full synthetic so that's good for another 7500mi. Fuel mileage: I have gotten around 20mpg in town and 29mpg on the hwy ... no joke it is decent if driven normally/properly.
No major accidents and the interior is also in overall great shape no rips in seat (even the drivers seat is in good shape-see photos) All orig Honda windows including the orig windshield. Runs and drives nicely with a recent strict PA inspection done in Jan. so it's good thru Jan. 1-2014 here in PA ...no unusual noises, leaks or anything else. All accessories work as well as heat and A/C. Ready to drive anywhere. Just turned 160k but it's evident when seen/driven that these are 'road/hwy' miles ... runs like 60k ... ready for many more.

*** Many photos posted and many more available if needed. Price is reasonable but somewhat negotiable so send a reasonable offer. I have the title in hand. Any questions please ask prior to bidding ... car is located in south central PA minutes from Harrisburg airport (HIA) Greyhound bus or Amtrak train terminals.

~ I'VE BEEN SELLING/BUYING ON EBAY FOR OVER 11YRS SO BID/BUY WITH CONFIDENCE AS MY FEEDBACK IS VERY GOOD!

(Car is for sale locally so this listing may be ended promptly if it is sold.)

Junkyard Gem: 1992 Acura Vigor

Wed, Apr 24 2024

Honda was the first of the Japanese car manufacturers to bring a separate luxury brand to the United States, with the (Civic-derived) Integra and (Rover-related) Legend appearing as 1986 models. By the early 1990s, Infiniti and Lexus had muscled in with their own gadget-laden luxury machines, with even Mitsubishi and Mazda offering legitimate competition for the two Acura models. Something had to be done, in the viewpoint of Soichiro Honda, and so the NSX sports car was introduced as a 1991 model, followed by the Vigor luxury sedan the following year. Here's one of those rare first-year Vigors, found in a Denver self-service boneyard recently. The idea behind the Vigor (which, like the Integra, Legend and NSX, was badged as a Honda in its homeland) was that it would squeeze in between the Integra and the Legend and steal some sales from the Lexus ES 250 as well as European machinery. The Vigor was a front-wheel-drive car, but its engine was mounted longitudinally and angled to clear the hood. The differential sat directly beneath the engine and received power via a tortured maze of shafts. The reason for all this powertrain complexity was the fact that the Vigor's engine was a SOHC straight-five that wouldn't fit the engine compartment using Honda's usual transverse mounting (though both Daewoo and Volvo managed the feat with straight-six engines later on). The U.S.-market Vigor's 2.5-liter five-banger was rated at 176 horsepower and 170 pound-feet. The base transmission was a five-speed manual, but this car has the optional $750 four-speed automatic ($1,696 in 2024 dollars). This car is the cheaper Vigor LS model, so its MSRP was $24,999 ($56,539 after inflation). You could get a slightly smaller but still feature-laden '92 Honda Accord EX for just $20,175 ($45,629 now), though, and the cushier (though less nimble) Lexus ES 250 started at just $21,300 ($48,173 in today's money). American car shoppers just couldn't figure out the Vigor, and sales were weak. 1994 was the final year for the Vigor, and the TL replaced it beginning as a 1996 model. This one drove just over 160,000 miles during its life. Don't think of it as a drive to work. Think of it as a 30-minute vacation. If you get a German luxury sedan instead of a Vigor, you'll be sorry! I miss you… S. As was nearly always the case during the 1980s and 1990s, the JDM commercials were more fun.

Honda Project 2&4 is our kind of sidecar sideshow [w/video]

Wed, Sep 16 2015

Honda makes cars and Honda makes bikes. It makes a whole lot of other things, too, but those are the two areas of expertise that have given rise to the thoroughly enticing Project 2&4 concept. It's one of the smallest vehicles unveiled here at the 2015 Frankfurt Motor Show, but also among the most enticing. The result of a global in-house design competition, Project 2&4 was envisioned by the company's motorcycle studio in Asaka and brought to fruition with help from the automotive studio in Wako. It's powered by the 1.0-liter V4 engine Honda developed for MotoGP competition, driving 212 horsepower and 87 pound-feet of torque through a six-speed, dual-clutch transmission. With less than 900 pounds to motivate, that adds up to blistering performance of the kind we'd give most anything to experience firsthand. The 14,000-rpm redline would be enough to make our heart sing all on its own, but the novelty of Project 2&4 is its design. As you can see, it hands the driver's seat and controls off the side, with room for a hold-on-for-dear-life passenger seat on the other side. The neo-retro styling is inspired by the company's RA272 grand prix racer from the Sixties, but gives up on the center driving position for an altogether more original configuration. The result looks ready to take on the likes of the Ariel Atom and BAC Mono... to say nothing of the curbs of Suzuka and Fuji. If only Honda were (able) to put it into production.
