I am listing this little Civic for a neighbor family who has outgrown it. I have driven it locally about 200 miles to get a good idea of the condition, and here's what I found;

Cranks, runs, shifts, drives, and stops great. A pleasure to drive.

Transmission fluid, oil, and coolant all look good.

 Gets around 30-35 mpg.

Most everything thing works, with the exceptions noted below.

Nice sound system.

Electric windows and locks work

A/C blows cool. Heater works fine.

I have clear title in-hand.

These folks have both kids and dogs, so if you are allergic to either....don't bid. The car could use some clean up. The windshield has a horizontal crack that runs about halfway across. Cracked windshields will pass inspection in most of  NC, but I don't know about other states. Will need two rear tires. The ones that are on it will probably pass inspection but they will need to be changed soon. The car overall has many nicks, dings, scratches, peeling clearcoat, etc. The front edge of the hood is pretty banged up. No rust-through that I can see. The bumper covers are banged up. The passenger side front window gets off-track sometimes when going up. You just have to guide it a little while putting up.The heater fan works on high only.

So you can see that the car has been well used, but it's a Honda. I've seen these cars run 300k+ miles many times.

Sorry the only history on the car that I have comes from the owners statements, which is that the wife's father bought the car for her new or nearly new....she doesn't remember.  eBay does not include a CarFax  with listings once a seller has sold 6 or more vehicles. You of course are welcome to run a CarFax on it if you wish.

Here are the terms of sale;  THIS VEHICLE IS SOLD AS-IS, WHERE-IS, WITH NO WARRANTY OF ANY SORT. The only exception is that if the buyer arrives to pick up the vehicle and discovers a major mis-description, then I will refund the buyers deposit with no questions asked. This does NOT include cosmetic issues. This is an older vehicle that has been well-used. Please keep your expectations realistic. Anyone is welcome and urged to inspect this vehicle in person before the end of the sale, or to send a representative to do so. There is a $250.00 deposit due via verified PayPal within 24 hours of the end of the sale. Verified PayPal means that the PayPal account has cash in it, not drawn on a credit card. The balance is due within 7 more days, and may be by cash on arrival, bank-to-bank transfer, or check. Any form of check will cause the vehicle and title to be held for up to 14 days, pending clearing. I can store the vehicle for up to 30 days once full payment has been made.

Most buyers are aware of this, but please remember that an offer to purchase or a bid through eBay is not for the privilege of coming to kick the tires If I accept your offer or you do a "Buy It Now" you have bought the vehicle, subject to the terms and conditions above. I can, will, and have prosecuted bogus bidders.

2020 Kia Telluride comparison: Specs and pricing versus other 3-row crossovers

Fri, Feb 8 2019

The 2020 Kia Telluride is a three-row family crossover that slots into the top spot in Kia's SUV lineup. It does not replace the three-row Sorento — rather, this bigger, more luxurious model is intended for those who need even more space. And that they'll certainly get, because as you'll see below, the Telluride is one of the biggest crossovers on the market. In this comparison of engine specs, dimensions, pricing and photos, we'll take a look at the 2020 Telluride versus the Honda Pilot, Subaru Ascent, Toyota Highlander, the all-new 2020 Ford Explorer, and the Telluride's mechanically related cousin, the equally new 2020 Hyundai Palisade. Of course, those just represent one corner of an iceberg that also includes the Mazda CX-9, Chevrolet Traverse, GMC Acadia and Dodge Durango. Passenger space Like most other entries in the three-row segment, the Telluride offers seven- or eight-passenger capacity. The difference is determined by whether you get second-row captain's chairs. Judging by the Telluride's 55.3 inches of third-row shoulder room, it looks like it won't be quite as spacious with three kids across back there as it would be in the Pilot or Ascent. Two inches can make a big difference in this regard. Third-row legroom is very competitive, however, and if it's indeed just as spacious back there as the Pilot and Ascent, two full-sized adults should be able to fit quite comfortably. Its third-row headroom is also quite good, one of the areas in which the Telluride surpasses its otherwise comparably sized Palisade cousin. If you're wondering about second-row space, there's really nothing outstanding to glean from these specs. As expected for this segment, it's huge, with abundant leg- and headroom. There should be no problem fitting child seats. Cargo space The Telluride would seem to have class-leading space behind its raised third-row seat. If we were to guess, this is the result of its rather boxy tailgate and roofline design. This should also help explain why it has more maximum space than all but the Explorer. Space with the third row lowered is middle of the pack, but when you're talking about vehicles this size, the differences in cubic feet behind the second-row ultimately don't matter much. 2020 Kia Telluride View 46 Photos Performance and Fuel Economy The Kia Telluride has the same powertrain as the Hyundai Palisade, although their tuning and consequent driving experience may differ even if their specs are seemingly the same.

Racy, mysterious Honda spied in Spain

Tue, Aug 25 2015

The next-gen Honda Civic five-door has been spotted near the IDIADA Proving Grounds in Spain, and Pistonudos was able to snap several photos of it covered in camouflage there. However, compared to the last spy shots we saw of this body, there have been some odd changes made for the latest test car. In front, the grille still wears a similar look to the pre-refresh Acura ILX like in the last photos. Although, this version might be a bit closer to production because as in the patent drawings, the air dam now sports three lower intakes. In profile, this Civic is largely the same as the earlier shots too, but now you get a better look at the tail's shape. The big, lightweight wheels and small brake discs are certainly odd on this example, though. The rear is where things get really strange because of the three exhaust pipes right in the middle of the bumper. Making things even weirder, the center one has a smaller diameter than the others. Because the Honda Civic Concept used a single, center-mounted setup, perhaps this is a way to test that design. Taken in total, this Civic test car is a head-scratcher. The bizarre exhaust layout and big wheels suggest a performance version, but the rest of the design doesn't look aggressive enough. One possible explanation is that Honda is testing a few components for the next Civic SI here. That would explain why some bits look racy but not the whole car. Related Video:

2015 Honda Fit

Wed, 09 Apr 2014

The last time we left our subcompact hero, the plucky Honda Fit was getting a bit long in the tooth. But the second-generation model was still holding its own rather well, and for the enthusiast on a tight budget who wanted it all, it remained the car of record in its class. If you desired an endlessly practical and reliable little hatch that was fun to drive, it didn't get much better than the Fit. Even with nearly every competitor having been fully freshened since the model's introduction in 2009, the Honda managed to fight off also-ran status simply because of how incredibly functional and great to drive it was. Long story short: we loved this car.
Of course, there were a few caveats to the Fit's superhero status. It wasn't particularly fuel efficient, only mustering up, at best, 33 miles per gallon on the highway in a segment where 40-mpg quickly became the new benchmark. What's more, its onboard technology and infotainment was seriously showing its age. While we'd praise the Fit's behind-the-wheel goodness all day long, this shining beacon of great steering and suspension tuning never proved to be all that wonderful for long-distance highway cruising.
Now, say hello to the 2015 Fit, hitting dealerships this spring. Worry not - it's still clever as ever from a packaging standpoint, and comes fitted with lots of newness both inside and out. It's a far more competitive vehicle than its predecessor, and has everything it takes to fight even the toughest of classmates. But just as before, our recommendation doesn't come without a few caveats.
