2007 Honda Civic Coupe Brand New Engine And Paint Job Due To Honda Recall!!! on 2040-cars
Silverthorne, Colorado, United States
|
I am selling my 2007 Honda Civic Coupe. As of July 3rd I just got the car back from Honda with a brand new engine and paint job. There was a recall on my engine block and paint so Honda threw in a new engine and sent it to a body shop for a repaint. Other than the recall there is nothing wrong with the vehicle what so ever. I have all paperwork associated with the work done as well as the extended warranty information. (1 year or 12,000 miles) The new engine has about 200 miles on it. The car itself has 135,000 miles on it.
The car is in excellent condition. The interior is still nice and clean. The only cosmetic issue with the interior is a slight peeling of the leather on the stick shift cover. It can be seen in the interior photos. The car gets awesome gas mileage and only costs around $35-$40 to fill up. I put some nice Pirelli tires on last year and they still have plenty of tread. All oil changes done have been with Royal Purple Synthetic oil (High end EXPENSIVE oil). The stereo system sounds wonderful with a factory sub in the car. The A/C works great and blows cold! There is also a moon roof! Its pretty impressive how much trunk space this car has. I used to play guitar in a band and would be able to load up my entire rig, guitar, and all other equipment into the car. I am ONLY selling because I want to pay off Debt. Please feel free to ask any questions. You can call, text, or email me any time. I work Monday - Friday but if you are interested in taking a look and giving it a test drive I could probably work in some time to make it happen. Otherwise the weekends I am free. Thanks for looking! |

Honda sees sales up but profit sliding 16 percent in 2017-18
Fri, Apr 28 2017TOKYO - Honda forecasts a 16 percent fall in operating profit for the current financial year as the Japanese automaker sees higher auto sales being offset by a stronger yen and research-and-development costs. Japan's No. 3 automaker said it expects an operating profit of 705 billion yen ($6.34 billion) in the current FY2018, down from 840.7 billion yen posted in the fiscal year just ended, and lower than an average estimate of 850.8 billion yen from 23 analysts polled by Thomson Reuters I/B/E/S. It sees a 14 percent slide in net profit to 530.0 billion yen this year, down from 616.5. Honda's projections are based on a forecast that the yen will average 105 yen to the U.S. dollar through next March, stronger than the 108 yen rate in the year just ended.BUT CAR SALES ARE UP At the same time, there's good news as Honda expects its global vehicle sales to edge up 1 percent to 5.08 million this year, bolstered by growth in Asian sales to 2.06 million units, beating out North America to become Honda's top market as more Chinese drivers flock to its cars. The company expects to sell 1.92 million vehicles in North America, 2.5 percent less than the year just ended as it struggles to sell sedans including the Accord, which have fallen out of fashion in the past few years. Honda has been ramping up production of SUVs to keep up with strong demand for larger models in the United States, although overall vehicle sales show signs of slowing following a boom cycle after the global financial crisis. Mazda is taking a similar strategy, announcing on Friday it would expand production of SUV crossover models at home, while equipping overseas plants to enable more flexible production of models according to market needs. Japan's No. 5 automaker forecast a 19 percent jump in operating profit for the current financial year as it expects higher sales volumes, particularly in North America, to help it recover from last year's profit slump.A CONSERVATIVE OUTLOOK Executive Vice President Seiji Kuraishi acknowledged that Honda's expected currency hit of 95 billion yen was based on a "conservative" yen forecast, adding that growing costs to create next-generation cars would also impact earnings. "Our costs are rising to develop new technologies which will be needed in the future, like automated driving functions and electric cars," he told reporters at a results briefing.
This is what Honda's new F1 engine will sound like
Fri, 18 Oct 2013It appears that not even the legendary pairing of McLaren and Honda can produce a 2015-regulation Formula One engine that sounds as good as the current V8s. Much like Mercedes-AMG Petronas, McLaren Honda have released a clip of their turbocharged, 1.6-liter V6 ahead of next season, and well, at least to our ears, it's not the sweetest of singers.
We've reported on concerns that the new engines wouldn't sound "right," after years of the high-revving V8s and V10s. The more we're hearing of these new engines, the more reasonable those worries seem. That said, we'll need to wait until we really hear these cars driven in anger to render a final verdict.
Scroll down to view the official press release from Honda and to hear what the future McLaren Honda will sound like when it hits the grid in 2015. For comparison, we've also included some on-board footage of Jenson Button's McLaren's V8 from last season.
Honda Civic Type R spied closer to production
Tue, Sep 6 2016If there's a car that proves Honda cares about performance it's not the NSX; it's the Civic Type R. And with the next-generation Type R coming stateside, Honda is officially back in the hot hatch game in the United States. These latest spy photos give us a solid look at the four-door hatchback before we see the official photos. With the current European version Type breaking lap records all around the continent, we expect similar bonkers performance when the update model debuts as either a 2017 or 2018 model. Some rumors have claimed the turbochaged 2.0-liter will hit as much as 340 horsepower. In the photos above it's easy to see the current US-market style headlights and front styling on this update Civic Type R. And the big opening in the lower bumper on the driver's side suggests some kind of secondary cooling system, perhaps an oil cooler (we assume the turbo intercooler is mounted front and center). The Civic Type R is expected to go on sale sometime in 2017, and we could see the production sheetmetal before the end of the year.Related Video: Featured Gallery Spy Photos Honda Hatchback Performance honda civic type r civic type r
