FOR SALE BY OWNER: 2005 Honda Civic LX Special Edition LEATHER! This vehicle is in excellent condition and well maintained with supporting documentation. Two major events for this vehicle besides regular scheduled maintenance were:
In October of 2010 this vehicle was "updated" by McDavid Honda. Factory leather was installed, indash radio (cd, DVD, navigation, bluetooth, mp3 connection) installed, windows tinted, all weather floor mats, touched up front and rear bumpers, and removed all dings, along with a scheduled maintenance the total for service and "updating" was $3,480.71 (documentation included).
In May of 2013 at Mcdavid Honda this vehicle recieved addtional "updating" which included headlamp restoration, Painting of front and rear bumpers along with ALL dent/ding removal ($500.00). Also completed was a "Civic Timing Belt Package" which replaced timing belt, water pump, camshaft oil seals, crankshaft oil seals, valve cover gasket, and engine drive belts.Spark plugs were replaced, AC filter replaced, power steering was serviced, transmission was serviced, cabin filter replaced for a total of $1,197.80 (documentation included).

2014 Honda Odyssey first minivan to earn Top Safety Pick+ award [w/video]
Thu, 29 Aug 2013You know an automaker is confident about the safety of its vehicles when it asks one of the top crash test agencies to destroy one of its newest models. That's exactly what happened with the 2014 Honda Odyssey. According the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety, Honda requested that the agency run the updated Odyssey through its full barrage of tests, and for good reason.
Aside from slight styling upgrades and a new optional HondaVac built-in vacuum cleaner, the 2014 Odyssey was also given a more rigid passenger compartment using high-strength steel to help better protect occupants. It obviously worked. Following the crash tests, the 2014 Odyssey became the first minivan to earn a Top Safety Pick+ rating, but, more importantly, it did so with "Good" ratings in all five crash categories (four "Goods" and one "Acceptable" are enough for the TSP+). Impressive.

Honda To Expand Takata Air Bag Recall Nationwide
Wed, Dec 3 2014Under pressure from federal regulators, Honda is expanding a recall of driver's side air bags to all 50 states. The air bags, made by Japanese supplier Takata Corp., can explode with too much force, sending metal shrapnel into the passenger compartment. Takata insists that current recalls covering 8 million U.S. cars in high-humidity areas are sufficient. But the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration wants the recalls expanded nationwide after some incidents outside the high-humidity zones. Rick Schosteck, Honda's executive vice president for North America, told House lawmakers Wednesday that Honda will expand the regional recall it began in June, but will continue to prioritize high-humidity areas.
