You are bidding on a 2003 Honda Civic. It gets incredible gas mileage at 35/ mpg on the highway! The automatic transmission drives beautifully. The interior of the car is in great condition, with clean and comfortable cloth seats. There is some artificial exterior damage (scratches in paint, some rusting on hood) but overall the car looks great! I have owned this car since 2004 and have had no issues, other than maintenance. I have been consistent with oil changes, and have had the radiator, timing belt, brake pads, battery, and oxygen sensor replaced as the vehicle has aged. The tires are all within 1-2 years of age, and are in great condition. The car comes with power windows, CD player, two cup holders, dual vanity mirrors, and rear defogger. This car has been in a non-smoking, non-kid environment for almost ten years.

I bought the car with a salvaged title, but it has been a dependable vehicle for the past nine years! The vehicle report will show 4 owners- 3 of which are my mom and me. My mom bought this car for me when I was in high school in 2004. She later deeded the title to me when I moved to Virginia. I had to transfer the title to New Jersey when I moved here in 2011.

There are a few minor repairs that need to be done, and that's why I've taken $500 off the Blue Book value.  One of the seals on the transmission needs to be replaced. This is a simple repair that will be under $250 to make. Otherwise, this car has been extremely reliable and I have loved driving it!

Payment Terms:

The successful high bidder will submit a $500 non-refundable deposit within 3 business days of the close of the auction to secure the vehicle. Buyer agrees to pay remaining balance due (plus applicable fees 499 and taxes) within 5 days of the close of the auction. Vehicle cannot be delivered until Wednesday, August 21st.

THIS IS A USED CAR AND IS BEING SOLD AS IS WITH NO WARRANTEES EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED. I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CANCEL THIS AUCTION AT ANY TIME DUE TO PRIOR LOCAL SALE. PLEASE ASK ANY QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE PRIOR TO BIDDING. THANKS FOR LOOKING AND HAPPY BIDDING!!!!

2015 Honda Jazz should Fit right in

Wed, Mar 4 2015

When is a Honda Fit not a Honda Fit? When it's a Honda Jazz. In other markets around the world, our pleasant little Fit hatchback uses a jazzier nomenclature, but what you're looking at here isn't simply a rebadged version of the car we know and love. For starters, the Euro-spec Jazz uses a 1.3-liter VTEC engine from Honda's Earth Dreams line, tuned to produce 101 horsepower. (The US-spec Fit, meanwhile, cranks out 130 hp from its larger, 1.5-liter engine.) That powerplant is mated to either a six-speed manual transmission or a continuously variable unit, and will be the only engine initially available at launch. From there, it's pretty much the same, save the small running lamps that flank the foglamps. The Jazz should fit nicely within not only the Honda lineup, but the booming subcompact class, with lots of onboard technology, excellent packaging (including the company's Magic Seat rear bench), and – we assume – a relatively affordable price point. Check out Honda's Euro-Fit in our fresh gallery of live shots, above. ALL-NEW HONDA JAZZ REDEFINES B-SEGMENT WITH ADDED SPACE, VERSATILITY, REFINEMENT AND TECHNOLOGY - Third generation Jazz based on Honda's global B-segment platform - New 1.3 litre i-VTEC petrol engine from Earth Dreams Technology series - Extra interior space, made versatile with Magic Seats® system - Bold, fresh exterior and refined cabin - New Honda Connect infotainment system - Advanced Driver Assist Systems enhance safety 24.02.2015 -- Arriving in Europe in summer 2015, the third-generation Jazz features bold yet sophisticated exterior and interior design, with unrivalled interior space and versatility. Occupants will benefit from increased refinement and advanced safety and infotainment technologies, as well as a highly efficient and dynamic driving experience. While the newcomer retains the classic Jazz silhouette, it exhibits distinctive contemporary styling including a powerful new face and strong lines. The use of Honda's cleverly packaged new global B-segment chassis means that the latest Jazz is even bigger on the inside. The company's Magic Seats ® system ensures the interior offers unmatched versatility as well as class-leading space, with a range of configurations for carrying cargo and passengers. High-quality soft-touch materials and thoughtful interior design provide a sophisticated ambience.

Latest Honda promo film is a Never Ending Race against emissions

Sun, Feb 16 2014

A new Honda promotional video shows clips of a hazy, smog-choked Los Angeles in the 1960s and 1970s, and then gives the company credit for its lead role in cutting vehicle-emissions by a factor of one thousand since 1970. Self-serving? Sure. Then again, this LA-native reporter born in 1970 can't help but be somewhat appreciative. The nearly five-minute video takes a tour through Honda history, showing the Japanese automaker using its experience designing race cars to help develop smaller engines such as its four-cylinder CVCC. An early proponent of California's Clean Air Act, Honda recounts its low-emissions history with the first production low-emission vehicle (the 1996 Civic) and the first production ultra-low-emission vehicle (the 1998 Accord), and says it's approaching "near zero emissions" for its new cars. For anyone keeping track, the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) said late last year that Honda's 2013 model-year vehicles averaged an even 27 miles per gallon, and that's with a fairly limited number of hybrids and plug-ins sold. That number was up from its 26.6 mpg in 2012 and second only to Mazda's 27.5 mpg among the major automakers. The overall 2013 average was 24.0 mpg. Honda's "Never Ending Race" Documents its Four-Decade Battle Against Air Pollution Third film in award-winning Environmental Short Film Series explores Honda's voluntary efforts to reduce vehicle emissions over forty-year period Honda's successful demonstration of low-emissions vehicle technology led state of California to adopt new, more stringent emissions regulations New-vehicle emissions are 1/1000th of 1970 levels Next environmental "race" is against global climate change TORRANCE, Calif., Feb. 13, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- As unprecedented levels of pollution choked the nation's largest cities in the early 1970's, a group of automobile engineers secretly toiled to develop an engine technology that would significantly reduce pollution from automobiles.

'Butching up' the 2017 Honda Ridgeline

Fri, Feb 12 2016

Honda has announced a number accessories for the Ridgeline at the Chicago Auto Show: black roof rails, cross bars, running boards, and fender flares; a skid plate; a hard tonneau cover; special 18-inch wheels with all-terrain tires; and a towing kit. Most of these items are to be expected, while a few others raise an eyebrow. It appears that Honda is testing the waters to see if there is an audience for a "butched up" Ridgeline. The skid plate, fender flares, and all-terrain tires all move it a step in that direction visually. I'm not absolutely certain, but I don't think these accessories, which have a slight nod towards off-roading, have been offered by Honda in the past. Perhaps an informed reader can clarify that? There's been no word yet as to whether the tire size is larger, but looking at the image, it appears the tire may have a slightly taller sidewall. I believe the factory 18-inch tire offered is a 265/60, so this may be a 265/65 tire. Again, someone at the Chicago show could clarify this. As tepid as this may seem, it's a start. That's the good news. If these items prove successful, they may just push Honda enough to offer a beefed up trim level. Fingers crossed. This concludes my series of Ridgeline reports. I'm hoping to be at the New York Auto Show in March, and the Ridgeline is on my list of vehicles to crawl all over. If I learn of anything new, you can be assured I will report it here.
