I bought this vehicle to use during the winter while my diesel was parked in a garage. I ended up fixing it through the winter and not having a car at all. This car should only be purchased by someone interested in Hondas and someone who wants to do more with it. Although it can be driven on the road now it has the potential to be an amazing car and should be purchased by someone who wants to do more with it.

The car has been painted and rust was removed with bondo added, it will need another paint job (see pictures). The interior is in acceptable shape, pretty stripped, no radio or speakers. It is a manual and has cable clutch - if you have not driven a car like this be aware it drives differently.

The cooling fan was not attached after the engine swap, I added a manual toggle switch inside the cab to turn it on and off.

The car had an fuel/air issue and an idle issue that caused the engine not to work - I fixed this over the winter and it has not given me any issues since.

As far as I know the car has been in no accidents.

The car as many aftermarket parts in it, but still passed inspection last year with the additions.

The cars treads are medium-low and will need new tires to pass inspection (NYS).

VTEC bypasses the computer and is on a switch in the cab. Previous owner did this, it seems to work when I drive it down the road.

I bought the car for a winter as my mercedes diesel can't be plugged in when I moved into an apartment. I ended up fixing the honda all winter instead and my mercedes is back on the road and I have no use for this vehicle anymore.

Honda's emergency redesign of the new Fit's front end not only had a positive effect on its scores from Insurance Institute for Highway Safety – it recorded a Top Safety Pick after being retested Â– but it helped the compact hatch record an impressive NCAP five-star safety rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
