2012 Honda Cr-v Ex-l Sport Utility 4-door 2.4l on 2040-cars
Delaware, Ohio, United States
Up for auction is a 2012 Honda CR-V EX-L AWD.
This vehicles has been meticulously maintained, with all service being performed by Honda Marysville in Marysville, OH at the specified intervals. I am the original owner of the vehicle. I purchased the CR-V after 6 months of leasing through the American Honda Associate Lease Program. This is the second CR-V I have owned, and absolutely love this vehicle. The only reason I am selling is to upgrade to a larger Honda Pilot for the growing family. Features:
On Jan-25-14 at 07:23:12 PST, seller added the following information: I wanted to be honest and list the current mileage on the CR-V. As it is my wife's daily driver, the mileage since the original listing has increased to 22,838 miles. However, that mileage may be slightly higher than that at the time of sale to the final bidder and auction winner. I also had a few people ask further detail: 1. The car has never been smoked in, has never been wrecked, and has never had any flood damage or any other environmental damage. 2. The car DOES NOT have a rear entertainment system or Navigation Unit. * Seller has listed vehicle condition to the best of his knowledge at the time of listing. |

Honda 'Hands' ad is a worthy successor to 'Cog'
Mon, 08 Jul 2013The 2003 Cog commercial from Honda may have been named one of the best car commercials of all time, but an all-new spot called Hands looks to be even more entertaining even if it's digitally enhanced. The two-minute video - which starts and ends with a nod to Cog - highlights just about all facets of Honda's universe of products from passenger cars to racecars, the HondaJet to leaf blowers, motorcycles, ATVs and even Asimo.
Celebrating 65 years of innovation, the advertisement is as informative as it is amusing, and it even injects a little humor, too, like a glass of water being squeezed from the FCX Clarity. We just hope that the 1:10 mark of the video isn't hinting at a CR-V Convertible. We're not sure when Hands will air or if we'll see it on television here in the US, but the video is posted below; as an added bonus, we've also included the video for Cog.
Mazda3 sales off to rocky start despite massive critical acclaim
Tue, 18 Mar 2014Like just about every other auto publication we've seen, we loved the way the Mazda3 drove when we reviewed it a few months ago, but those glowing reviews apparently aren't helping its sales. The new compact may be falling victim to a sales war between the Toyota Corolla and Honda Civic, with the newcomer getting squeezed out by those with more established names and bigger marketing budgets.
According to Automotive News, Mazda3 sales have fallen every month since last August, and its sales are down 27 percent in the first two months of 2014. It certainly isn't helping that the entire compact segment is down five percent this year as well.
The biggest problem for the new model seems to be its price compared to rivals. Mazda is not offering the incentives that are on the hood of competitors. With the previous generation, the company offered more than $2,700 on the hood to move them out, but the current model only carries about $1,233 in markdowns, according to AN.
Sales incentive growth clustered around brands with few CUVs, trucks
Wed, 24 Sep 2014While it's arguably been around the longest, the dominance of the four-door sedan has been under threat for many years. As a further sign of the hurtin' that SUVs and crossovers have put on today's four-doors, a new report from Automotive News points to the increasing use of incentives by brands reliant on cars and light on CUVs and pickups.
Honda, Toyota, Volkswagen and Kia have all been stung by double-digit increases in their incentives-to-transaction price ratio, according to AN, which cites data from TrueCar. Honda's ratio is up 14 percent, while Toyota, VW and Kia are up 18, 15 and 19 percent, respectively.
"Most of the incentive growth we have seen is in product segments with low demand - midsized or large sedans," TrueCar CEO John Krafcik told AN. "As this trend goes on, the brands with three-sedan strategies are going to be in worse shape on incentive spending than the crossover brands."
