I bought this car unregistered in a hurry when my Subaru RX blew up and didn't have to do a thing to get it registered and have thoroughly enjoyed driving it for the last few months. Now it is fixed the Honda is due to go, I need a tow bar equipped car.
It is very quiet and silky smooth, luxurious, super reliable, doesn't use water or oil, almost everything works and nothing rattles. When I got it it had had the power window switches replaced and a brand new exhaust fitted and a brand new battery. Since then I have bought tyres and serviced it with new oil and filter just done. It has a repeller car alarm fitted but didn't come with the keyring actuator. It is a great car, having never owned a Honda I have to say I am very impressed, easy to see why it was car of the year. The boot and interior is very roomy and very well preserved. It looks to have been well looked after, under the bonnet and body is super clean, no oil leaks and rubbers, boots, belts, hoses and the like are very good. Still has plenty of rubber, drives beautifully and it coasts amazingly well, the bearings and aerodynamics must be very good and the fuel efficiency is excellent. 5th is long and it is very cruisy and effortless on the highway. VIN is JHMCD55200C106996 and rego number is BS 26 ZJ
issues;
The paint is not great, was resprayed recently but the finish isn't very good although at a distance of more than a metre it looks good but when you get close up you can spot imperfections under the clear coat with some poor masking and overspay evident, only one small rust spot under the back window I will fix before the sale, the body is in very good condition, no dents.
The rear shocks passed rego ok but feel like they are getting a little bit tired to me but it drives fine, front end is tight. Central locking makes random noises and doesn't work reliably and I intended to pull the fuse but never got around to it, probably just a loose connection somewhere. The aerial is bent and the motor can't raise or lower it. Needs new speakers but the stereo, aircon etc all work.
Asking price is very reasonable for this model, look up car research at carpoint.com for more data.

Online Find Of The Day: 1998 Honda Accord Dually shows a melange of influences
Fri, Jan 9 2015The vehicles that we choose to drive make a statement about who we are, and this insanely styled, custom 1998 Honda Accord is certainly going to say something about the next owner. The seller in this Craigslist ad claims this "is something that you will never see again," and there's no arguing about that. If you're looking for attention and notoriety, then this Honda is more effective than driving around in any Ferrari or Porsche. First, everyone can see you coming in this thing. With two banks of LEDs on the hood, a 44-inch light bar on the roof and cab lights, this Accord must look like a meteorite burning up in the atmosphere with all of its illumination on at night. In addition, the boat air horns, PA speaker, backup beeper and the unholy noise from the Bosozoku-influenced exhaust stack should make stealth an impossibility. Making friends isn't a problem, either, because with eight CB whip antennas positioned around the car, you're sure to hear every trucker in a tri-state area. Despite the Accord being front-wheel drive, the builder finished this masterpiece off with a dually rear end and fender flares. Don't worry about seeing the utter shock on people's faces when they notice, because the Dodge tow mirrors should provide plenty of rear visibility. The seller claims there's nothing wrong with the car, and he's accepting trades or reasonable offers. Autoblog has called to see how much the owner wants for it and to see what inspired them to go to such extremes. We'll update this story if we hear back.
Honda previews S660 roadster ahead of Tokyo debut
Wed, 23 Oct 2013Honda isn't known for making convertibles. In fact, legend has it that old man Soichiro banned them from his lineup - but then he also didn't approve of six-cylinder engines, either. There have been exceptions, like the Civic del Sol and S2000, and today Honda has revealed another.
Set to debut at the forthcoming Tokyo Motor Show in late November is the Honda S660 concept, a compact little roadster about which Honda is saying even less. It looks about the size of a Kei car, with a nameplate that suggests a 660cc engine, making it more of a revival for the 1990's Beat than the high-end S2000. And while there are some clear similarities with the EV-STER concept that debuted two years ago in Tokyo, the S660 looks closer to production-ready, with key features like an actual steering wheel.
Of course, whether the S660 makes production, and beyond that makes it off of the Japanese islands and across the Pacific to US showrooms, is another matter, but we could see something like this taking the fight to the Mazda MX-5 and even the Scion FR-S and Subaru BRZ if it did.
