This is a 2009 Honda Accord Coupe EX-L White(Taffetta) with Ivory interior which is really beige/tan, and Sunroof. NO NAVIGATION. 61k miles. Original owner. This car was purchased and serviced at Paramus Honda in Paramus, NJ. It was driven mostly on the NJ Parkway and has mostly commuter milage. It has heated seats, XM satellite radio, fully powered 8 way driver seat, power sunroof, locks, and windows. The tires are original and still have plenty of tread. I included some pictures and hopefully they show you the condition of the treads. I can measure the tread depth if you need this information. The brakes are still good on the front and read disks. I recently had the car serviced as you will see below in the service descrption and the brakes were listed as ok and not in need of replacement. They have been replaced 1 time during the the first 60K miles and I had this done at Honda and have a receipt.
It is a 271 HP 3.5 Liter SOHC 24 valve V6 i-VTEC engine with Variable Cylinder Management (VCM). So, in other words, if you compare it to other 6 cylinder engines, you will see that it has a lot of horse power. THe VCM means that while you are driving a constand speed, the engine turns off cylinders to save gas. As soon as you accellerate, they fire back up for quick power. There is a green light on the dashboard that lights up "ECO" so you know when this is happening. I have noticed it gets much better mileage than my other car which is a 6 cylinder Infiniti G37X.
Please Read Carefully:
The car has been serviced by Paramus Honda for oil changes. There has only been 1 service issue with the car which may be a blessing by giving this car an additional 1 year warranty on the engine. 3 times over the life of the vehicle, has a spark plug in cyclinder #3 needed replacing. 3 Times while driving, the car started running "hard" and the check engine light came on. Each time, I drove to the Honda dealership and they replaced the spark plug in cylinder #3. On, the thrid time this happened, the car was 2 thousand miles away from warranty expiration. The warranty was 3 year and 36k miles for the bumper to bumper warranty, and 60k on the drive train. So being so close to then end of the warranty I went to Honda requested more action. In turn, Honda replaced the engine. They said that possibly the engine block was bad and replaced it with a short block. I have the repair receipt available and can send it to you if you are interested or provide it to you on a test drive.
As far as the warranty is concerned, the car has a 12 month warranty on the repair. So, essentially, there is a engine replacement and a 12 month warranty for the repair that the car would normally not have had.
Accidents:
The car was involved in a slow speed accident with a parked car. I have included pictures. The only damage was scratches to the passenger side door. The Honda was moving at roughly 10 miles an hour when a parked car attempted to pull out of a parking space and made contact. The Honda was brought to a professional body shop and repaired perfectly. You cannot see any signs of this accident when you look at the car. I have included pictures from the accident scene that day so you can see what happened and what the original damage looked like so you can compare it to the pictures posted after the repair.
Other than this minor accident, NO other accidents occurred with this vehicle.

Why Acura should build a hybrid Integra successor using NSX tech
Fri, Dec 30 2016Yes, it sounds like a heresy. Yes, the Honda CR-Z was not a good hybrid sports car. Yes, we know the RSX officially replaced the Integra here (but was called the Integra in Japan). But, no, we're not crazy. Well, maybe a little bit. But hear us out. At the moment Acura is a bit of an unfocused mess. Its line-up is thoroughly uninspiring, save for its $200,000 NSX supercar – a great mid-engined supercar with an impressive, performance-oriented hybrid AWD system. And yet few people would draw a line connecting Acura's other SH-AWD hybrids, the RLX Sport Hybrid and MDX Sport Hybrid, to the NSX. The first NSX told the world that Acura built cars with world-class technology and performance, and the Integra carried it to people with normal pocketbooks. Since the new NSX communicates a similar message as its forbearer, so too would a new Integra. Now making an entry-level sports car with hybrid technology is tricky business. As we already established, the Honda CR-Z was a colossal flop. It's balance was all off: heavy, expensive, and not very sporty – and it didn't even get very good fuel economy. However, Honda and Acura can learn from these mistakes. First, to keep costs in check, Acura can borrow from Honda's ever-improving parts bin. It would logical to borrow the excellent Civic coupe platform – something the old Integra did as well. It could also attach the proposed hybrid powertrain to the upcoming Si turbocharged four-cylinder. Some added cost will be unavoidable, since the batteries and motors will have to go somewhere. That will cost some engineering dollars, and inflate the price tag a bit. However, since Acura is a premium brand, it has some wiggle room to bump up the price without losing buyers. Weight is another potential issue this hypothetical hybrid will face, and was one of the chief complaints with the CR-Z. Looking at the RLX and the RLX Sport Hybrid, the hybrid bits weigh about an extra 340 pounds. That's not insignificant, but added to the turbocharged Civic EX-T coupe's 2,900 pound curb weight, you would have a car that would weigh 3,240 pounds. That's comparable to the very fun Mustang EcoBoost. As long as Acura keeps the weight under 3,500 pounds, the brand should have an entertaining coupe on its hands. The final piece of the puzzle is to make sure it isn't compromised. Every bit of hybrid tech in the NSX is there for performance. It helps eliminate turbo lag, and it improves acceleration and handling.
Honda Accord Hybrid falls well short of 47 mpg, says Consumer Reports [w/video]
Thu, 29 May 2014Do not poke Consumer Reports with the hybrid fuel economy stick. That seems to be the lesson illustrated here yet again. The Honda Accord Hybrid is the latest to arouse the ratings bear, returning "just" 40 combined mpg in CR testing. Even so, that makes it "a class leader for fuel economy among midsized sedans," besting even the Civic Hybrid in CR testing, but that's still a lucky roll of the dice short of its EPA rating of 47 mpg. Remember, it was back in December 2012 that CR knocked the Ford Fusion and C-Max hybrid models for the exact same failing: certified with an EPA-rated 47 mpg but delivering "just" 40 mpg.
Beyond that, while the Accord Hybrid earned a lower overall score than the traditional gasoline Accord because of its ride, handling and refinement issues, it gets unqualified applause from the institute for its "very impressive hybrid system."
It will be interesting to see if CR's findings will negatively impact the model's sales, which to this point have been impressive enough that demand is outstripping supply. In the meantime, you can check out CR's brief video review of the Accord Hybrid below, and check out the magazine's press release chiding its mpg rating.
Honda working on mid-engine sports car?
Thu, Jun 11 2015The NSX and new Civic Type R might not be the end of Honda's performance push. Patent images obtained by Autovisie in the Netherlands show the Japanese brand's possible design for another mid-engine sports car with what looks to be a removable top. According to Autovisie, the patent was registered on May 27 and was just released. However, nothing else official is known about the vehicle at this time. We can think of several possibilities as to what this might be. Honda is reportedly already working on the design for a future NSX convertible, although these images show significant changes to the overall shape compared to the coupe, which makes this possibility dubious. The automaker is also considering a performance model to slot below its halo car in the future, but without any scale, the size is hard to judge here. The S660 coming to North America is rumored as well, and maybe these shots are a redesign. Of course, the company's designers might just be toying around and patenting the shape for something else. This design definitely has a familial resemblance with the NSX and S660, and it looks great. Let us know in Comments what you think the vehicle might be.
