For sale: a very clean 2008 Honda Accord LX-P. First and only owner, non smoker, no pets. Car is a pretty great condition, exterior and interior. I'd say that interior is pristine really. I regularly clean the car (ever since I bought it new) at least once a month.

It is DD and currently the car has 54,000 miles. Warranty ended this year. The car has some scratches on the front and rear bumper (driver side) but it's nothing major. Please email for more pictures. No modification were done to this car at all. There were never any mechanical or technical problems with this car. As mentioned, I clean it regularly and the same goes for maintenance and oil changes - everything has always been done/checked at a local Honda dealership. It's a great first car, very reliable & dependable and gas saver for sure! After all, it is a Honda Accord! We have title in hand and the car is ready to sell.

The bad:
The car was involved in a minor collision this year where the right side was fixed by a body shop and the job is excellent. No mechanical/airbag issues during the collision whatsoever. It was just the body damage. We have the pictures.

Car will need new pads&rotors in 5000 miles.

The price is for a quick sale!

Let me know if you have any questions, would like to see more pictures or just want to see the car in person. Call me after 6pm at 203-940-0877 or email me anytime at jmstowska@me.com.
Please do not hesitate to ask about anything and to request pictures etc. I'm here to provide answers so that we can have a nice and smooth transactions for both parties involved.
Thanks and happy bidding!

Honda favoring turbo over hybrid for US-market Vezel

Fri, 20 Dec 2013

While Honda gears up to unveil the new Fit to the US market at the Detroit Auto Show next month, back in its home market, the car's crossover cousin is just going on sale. The Vezel was unveiled at the Tokyo Motor Show last month and already has a three-month waiting list in Japan, where Honda projects that 90 percent of customers will opt for the hybrid version. Not so in the United States, however.
When the Vezel reaches American showrooms, there'll be a number of key differences. For starters, it will carry a different name, though Honda isn't saying what that will be. For another, it will be built for North American consumption at Honda's new plant in Mexico, roughly half of whose production capacity is reportedly being allocated to the new crossover. And finally, it'll have a different engine.
In Japan the Vezel is being offered with a 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine, with or without electric assist. Honda won't offer the hybrid version here - at least not initially - but it is preparing to offer a turbo option. Although it has yet to announce US specifications and options, the 1.5-liter turbo four (also unveiled at the Tokyo show) is considered a stronger likelihood than the 1.0- or 2.0-liter versions.

The cars that won't live to see 2015 [w/video]

Wed, 23 Jul 2014

Every year in the fast-paced automotive industry brings new models, but it also spells the end for some that have been less successful. This year will be no exception.
Japan's automakers make up the bulk of the list of discontinued models for the 2015 model year: Acura is replacing the TL and TSX with the new TLX sedan, Honda is bidding farewell to the Fit EV as the new Fit hatchback takes its place, and Nissan is saying goodbye to both the Cube and Murano CrossCabriolet. Both the Nissan Maxima and Mazda2 exit stage left before their upcoming replacements arrive, while Toyota is terminating the RAV4 EV and FJ Cruiser as well as the Scion xD, and Lexus IS C and IS F that are being effectively replaced by the new RC. Meanwhile Infiniti is finally discontinuing the G37 that was already replaced by the newer Q50.
From our own domestic automakers, Cadillac discontinues the CTS-V sedan and wagon as the new CTS rolls in, Chevy is canceling the mild-hybrid Eco versions of the Malibu and Impala sedans, and Chrysler is killing off the 200 convertible as the new 200 sedan arrives.

McLaren pondering Honda-powered 911 killer?

Tue, 21 May 2013

As one of the premier sports cars in the world, the Porsche 911 is always driving around with a target on its rear-engined backside. If a new report is to be believed, the latest automaker with plans to build a 911-fighting sports coupe could be McLaren. Motor Trend is reporting that the recent news that Honda and McLaren are teaming up to build Formula One racecars could bear road-going fruit as well.
According to the article, the unnamed entry-level McLaren coupe may be powered by a Honda-sourced engine, but a detuned version of the 3.8-liter V8 from the MP4-12C is said to be more likely. All in, though, there is no solid information on the car just yet. As a reminder, M/T points out that the last time McLaren partnered up with a mainstream automaker, the world was introduced to the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren.
