The condition of the exterior, interior and engine can vary depending on the vehicle's history. See the seller's listing for full details and description of any imperfections.Seller Notes:"The car is in excellent condition, with everything working. The exterior is WHITE, with a LIGHT BROWN (also called beige or tan) fabric interior. There are no defects, missing parts, or dents anywhere; just a few inevitable stone chips on the front end. Even the interior is in excellent condition. The only thing showing a little wear is central arm rest, on the drivers side. I would estimate there are about 10,000 miles left on the nitrogen filled tires (all 4 matching Yokohama YK520 tires, (size P215/50R17 93V)"

This 2007 Honda Accord SE is being offered for sale by the original owner. It is in excellent condition, having been garaged its entire life. Most of that mileage is driving to and from work, where there is covered parking. Oil changes have been done every 3,000 miles. It needs nothing but a new owner to drive it! It has never been in any accidents, and there are no dents in the body anywhere. About the worst thing I can say about it is there are a few rock chips on the front end, which is unavoidable if the car is driven on roads with other cars around. I'm asking $10,995 for it, or will accept a reasonable, close offer to that. Checking market values, this extremely fair and reasonable. You will not find a similar car at any local dealership for less than $12,000, and you will have to pay sales tax on top of that, also. Since this is a private sale, there are no additional fees involved. Call Perry with any questions about the car, or to set an appointment to see it in person. My phone number is 623-234-0724. If you want to have it inspected by a mechanic, I have no problem with that. There are a few Honda dealers in Phoenix, or we could take it to the mechanic of your choice.  It runs and drives like a new car; it's beautiful! I promise, you will not be disappointed!  I live in central Phoenix, Arizona, and it is for local pickup only. You will have to make any shipping arrangements on your own. If flying into town, I could pick you up at Sky Harbor Airport.

The cars that won't live to see 2015 [w/video]

Wed, 23 Jul 2014

Every year in the fast-paced automotive industry brings new models, but it also spells the end for some that have been less successful. This year will be no exception.
Japan's automakers make up the bulk of the list of discontinued models for the 2015 model year: Acura is replacing the TL and TSX with the new TLX sedan, Honda is bidding farewell to the Fit EV as the new Fit hatchback takes its place, and Nissan is saying goodbye to both the Cube and Murano CrossCabriolet. Both the Nissan Maxima and Mazda2 exit stage left before their upcoming replacements arrive, while Toyota is terminating the RAV4 EV and FJ Cruiser as well as the Scion xD, and Lexus IS C and IS F that are being effectively replaced by the new RC. Meanwhile Infiniti is finally discontinuing the G37 that was already replaced by the newer Q50.
From our own domestic automakers, Cadillac discontinues the CTS-V sedan and wagon as the new CTS rolls in, Chevy is canceling the mild-hybrid Eco versions of the Malibu and Impala sedans, and Chrysler is killing off the 200 convertible as the new 200 sedan arrives.

Honda shows us 'The Challenging Spirit of Honda'... in Japanese

Sun, 29 Dec 2013

Just as Porsche has done with its lengthy Le Mans gear-up, Honda is is laying the table for its Formula One return more than a year before we'll actually see it on track. We've heard what it's 2015 engine will sound like, reminisced with the 1988 McLaren Honda MP4/4 and the 1964 Honda RA271 and spoken to the company's CEO about what F1 involvement could do for its production car engines.
The automaker has now released a video called The Challenging Spirit of Honda that traces the development of its in-house F1 program and the jump from motorcycles to the first RA270 F1 chassis in 1962, to the RA272 chassis that won the 1965 Grand Prix. The only catch: the video is in Japanese. However, you can read about the winning car in English, and the video ends with another sound check of the 2015 power unit. That is a universal language, and you'll find it being spoken below.

Honda to dub Fit-based as HR-V for North America

Sun, 06 Apr 2014

You may remember it as the Urban SUV (pictured above) from when it debuted in concept form at the Detroit Auto Show last year, or know it as the Vezel as the production version was unveiled for the Japanese Domestic Market at the 2014 Tokyo Motor Show. But when Honda starts exporting its new Fit-based crossover - or better yet, building it in Mexico for North American consumption - it will be called the HR-V.
This news comes courtesy of Honda enthusiast forum Temple of VTEC. When contacted by Autoblog, Honda spokesmen declined to comment on the veracity of the report, saying only that it would "announce the name in the near future," but the handle fits with what we know about Honda's history with compact crossovers. The previous HR-V (which was not available in the States) was a high-riding, squared-off crossover built between 1999 and 2006 and based on the Fit's predecessor, the Honda Logo.
While the HR-V moniker might not have name recognition in North America, it would in Europe where Honda also hopes its new crossover will find eager customers. It will also fit in nicely below the CR-V that will continue on as the HR-V's larger stablemate.
