Doubt you will find a cleaner Honda Accord EX V-6. I am the original owner and have kept meticulous records since this car was purchased. Not only do I have service records, I have records of every gas fill-up. This car spent most of its life in Santa Fe, New Mexico where moisture is virtually non-existent. The last year, the car has been in Colorado where it is almost as dry. The car has been garaged since day one. The car was serviced by Premier Motor Cars in Santa Fe and now is serviced by Honda 104 in Westminster, Co. Oil has been changed approximately every 3,000 miles and service is up to date. The most recent service included a transmission flush and re-fill and brake flush and re-fill at 47,290 miles. I will have the oil changed once more before the car is sold. New Goodyear Assurance TripleTred All Season tires were purchased on 7/8/2012 when the car had 40,690 miles on it. Most of the driving has been highway as this car was the trip car and my 112,000 mile Honda CR-V was the workhorse in the family. The reason I am selling this car is that I have purchased a mid-life crisis convertible. My garage can handle only 2 cars, so I need to part with the Accord so I can once again garage the CR-V.
The car has heated leather power seats and is XM capable. The interior of the car is close to perfect with no rips, tears or odors. There is a scuff on the bumper which can be seen in the picture as well as a couple of minor parking lot door dings. There is a small chip in the windshield smaller than a dime which has been filled. The car has never been in an accident nor have the air bags ever been deployed.
I am happy to show this car locally. I am also willing to work with a potential buyer interested in having the car inspected (at your expense) or working with a shipper of your choice (again at your expense) for out of state delivery. The car is for sale locally so this listing my end before the close of the auction.
Thanks for looking and please feel free to ask any questions not answered above.
A deposit of $500 is expected within 48 hours of the close of the auction and full payment expected within 7 days.
Kelley Blue Book for this car in this condition is $12,461.

Honda to power new Formula Lites open-wheel racing series
Sun, 18 May 2014Open-wheel racing is almost always incredibly exciting to watch, whether it's the constant passing of the Indy 500 on an oval or the technological tour-de-force from Formula 1. However, both of those disciplines are essentially impossible for a normal person to enter. Of course, there are already cheaper, more amateur-friendly open-wheel competitions, like Formula Vee. A new SCCA Pro Racing series called Formula Lites aims to be a step in the ladder between those, offering a development opportunity to young drivers who want to be professionals.
The series already has some impressive backers. One of the biggest needs is now filled, as Honda has signed on as the engine supplier. All of the cars in Formula Lites will use the company's K24 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine. The automaker didn't specify power output for the competition engine, but in production models the K24 has made in the neighborhood of 190-200 horsepower in many applications. That should make the racers plenty potent.
All of the cars are using the new carbon fiber FL15 chassis from Crawford Composites, and Pirelli is the series' tire supplier. The organizers' goal for the cars is to keep racing costs down, while offering a reliable platform. Formula Lites plans to start racing with a few events later in 2014, and the full calendar begins in 2015. Scroll down to read the full announcement about Honda's involvement.
Is the Acura Legend coming back?
Fri, May 24 2019Great news for fans of the Acura Legend: Honda has applied for a trademark in Europe for the word "Legend," pertaining to "Vehicles; Apparatus for locomotion by land; Apparatus for locomotion by air; Apparatus for locomotion by water; Parts and fittings for land vehicles; Parts and fittings for air and space vehicles; Parts and fittings for water vehicles." This trademark was first spotted by AutoGuide.com, and gives more credence to our speculation from a couple months ago about the possibility of the Legend nameplate returning to the Acura lineup in the States. If you were reading closely before, you'll notice that it was actually Honda that applied for the trademark, not Acura. The Legend was sold with a Honda badge on it in Europe back in the day, so this trademark filing in Europe makes perfect sense. In our previous report, we put forth the idea that Acura could bring the Legend name back with a successor to the RLX flagship sedan. Specifically, we were thinking that Acura would use the four-door coupe form previewed by the Acura Precision concept. That story also suggested a new Legend flagship could debut during Monterey Car Week. The 1986 Legend sedan was one of Acura's first two vehicles when the brand launched (the other being the Integra). It had a smooth 2.5-liter V6 that made all of 151 horsepower at the time. A sweet-looking coupe soon followed the sedan. The name Legend would be applied to a second-generation, which is arguably the one best-remembered. The coupe in particular has lived up to its name. Much of that legendary status, though, is the result of what followed: the Legend name and coupe body style dying for 1996 in favor of the RL, a four-door sedan as bland as its name. Acura's flagship has never recovered. We'll be quite pleased if Acura ultimately decides to reveal a totally new Legend to blow us away in Monterey. The return to actual names for the lineup would also be lovely. It's certainly working for Lincoln. Now if they'd only trademark "Integra" ...
Honda CR-Z refresh coming this fall
Thu, Aug 27 2015Despite moving just 1,562 of them through July 2015 with sales down 33.7 percent, the Honda CR-Z is somehow still kicking in the US lineup. Honda isn't ready to give up and is even announcing a refresh for the hybrid hatchback in hopes of giving the little car a jolt. Before you get too excited, the powertrain remains unaltered for the update with the same 1.5-liter four-cylinder and IMA hybrid system making 130 horsepower. The refresh arrives in Japan in October, and according to Automotive News, the improvements arrive in the US in November. The styling sees the biggest change of the revisions. Up front, the lower air dam now slices through the grille and leads right to the foglights. A similar addition is found on the rear, as well. The brake discs grow to 15-inches, an inch larger than before. Japan gets LED headlights too, but they reportedly aren't coming here to keep prices down. To match the revised exterior, there are tech tweaks inside. An upgraded infotainment system that adds both noise cancelation and an engine sound amplifier to make those 130 ponies at least sound sporty. Another tiny change is the switch to an an electric parking brake and the addition of a center armrest. Rumors suggest Honda is considering whether to dump the hybrid in favor of a 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder in the next-gen CR-Z. However, chief engineer Terukazu Torikai disagrees. When asked about the possibility of a non-electrified model, he told Automotive News, "There are no plans for that whatsoever."
