BEFORE I DESCRIBE THIS AWESOME CAR I NEED TO CLARIFY SOME ISSUES THAT ARE STATED AND ARE UNTRUE THE ISSUE WITH THE TITLE OR MILEAGE IS INCORRECT IT WAS A CLERICAL ERROR BY THE DMV WHEN FILLING OUT THE PAPER WORK THEY CHECKED THE WRONG BOX AND IT SHOWS THAT THE ODOMETER HAD TO GO AROUND TO OVER ONE MILLION MILES AND OBVIOUSLY IT DID NOT, IT HAS 105,232 ORIGINAL MILES ON IT  AS FOR THE MINOR ACCIDENT I BELIEVE IT WAS A DOOR DENT FROM THE PRYOR OWNER WHO HAD IT REPAIRED YOU CAN NOT SEE ANY EVIDENCE OF ANY DAMAGE SO THIS CAR SHOULD BE LISTED AS A 79+ CAR AND NOT A 53 AS SHOWN THE CAR HAS VERY MINOR SCRATCHES AND CHIPS ON THE NOSE AND REAR BUMPER FROM NORMAL WEAR AND TARE  THERE IS A 1/2 INCH SCRATCH DENT THE SIZE OF A NICKLE  ON THE DRIVER DOOR OTHER THAN THAT THE CAR IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION INSIDE AND OUT FOR A 9 YEAR OLD CAR. I AM WILLING TO HAVE A NOTARIZED LETTER STATING THIS AND I CAN HAVE THE PREVIOUS OWNER DO THE SAME IF NECESSARY I WILL SWEAR TO WHAT I SAY IS THE TRUTH. Honda celebrates the life of Ayrton Senna the best way it knows how

Fri, 26 Jul 2013

Honda is returning to Formula One in 2015 with McLaren, and when that engine maker and that F1 constructor are mentioned together, two other words are never far behind: Ayrton Senna. There are engine suppliers, constructors and drivers that have bigger numbers, but those three form a triumvirate that came close to defining F1 in the eighties.
Honda Japan has produced a commercial called Sound of Honda that celebrates Senna at a race that turned out to be one of the most momentous of his career for good and bad reasons: the 1989 grand prix at Suzuka where he won, then was stripped of, the driver's championship.
The commercial has a terrifically simple premise - there's no CG, no old footage of Senna, no one says a word, it's just sound. And it's pretty damn good. Check it out below.

2015 Honda Fit set for Detroit reveal

Thu, 19 Dec 2013

We've got one more debut confirmed for next month's Detroit Auto Show, as Honda has announced that it will be showing off the 2015 Fit in the Motor City. Honda has released a singular image of the new Fit's rear taillight, above.
From the sole image, we can see that the American-spec Fit will share at least its taillights with the Japanese variant, which we've helpfully included an image of to the right. Now, technically, the blue car to the right is the Fit Hybrid, a car we aren't expecting to see in the US market. But the gallery of images we've included below should give those interested in the car a very good idea of what the new Fit will look like when it hits the auto show stage next month.
As for what will be under hood when it debuts in January, Honda is touting its Earth Dreams Technology engine, which we take to mean some sort of four-cylinder, gas-powered mill. Expect excellent fuel economy from the new car, and according to the Japanese brand, "leading-edge connected car technologies."

Honda HR-V gets early reveal

Mon, 17 Nov 2014

If the Honda HR-V feels awfully familiar to you by now, you're not alone. We've seen it debut in Japanese form (dubbed "Vezel"), caught a prototype in Paris, and Honda first showed us the US-spec version in press-photo form all the way back at the New York Auto Show in April. We're finally going to get all the details on Honda's new subcompact crossover this week as part of the Los Angeles Auto Show, but first, we're getting an early look at the CUV today.
We met the Honda HR-V for a cup of coffee this morning at Randy's Donuts just outside of Los Angeles, and got our first look at the new CUV in the metal. It's a handsome little thing, offering a higher-riding, more butch alternative to the Fit hatchback on which it's based. We particularly like how the rear door handles are integrated into the pillars, for an almost three-door look from some angles.
Technical details are still scarce as of this writing, though we expect those to be revealed during Honda's press conference on Wednesday. For now, we just know that the HR-V should be an incredibly practical little thing, using the Magic Seat system that has made the Fit such a versatile and capacious subcompact. Stay tuned for more, and see the HR-V from all angles in our live gallery, above.
