Fort Drum, New York, United States
|
I am selling my 2002 Honda Accord Ex coupe with 5 spd transmission.
This is a NO RESERVE AUCTION, however if you want to make me an offer to end the auction early, let me know!!! The Good Car runs strong and shifts smooth. Very clean on the inside. The stock 6-disk CD changer works perfectly. Most importantly, everything works on the car! Just completed the 105k service to include: -New timing belt -New Water pump -New Serpentine Belts -Oil and filter Change -New Spark Plugs -New Air Filter -New Radiator cap The Not so Good (all aesthetics) -Minor scratches all over the car -Sunburn on the roof and rear bumper -Rear spoiler was put on after market and the wiring hangs down into the trunk (needs to be re-routed, but all the light work, so I haven't messed with it). -There are a few very minor door dings. The Car is currently located in Belleville Ontario, Canada. The car is still registered in my name in my home state of Arizona. I am in the US military on assignment here and will ship the car from Watertown, NY, or Belleville Ontario for Canadian buyers (at the buyers expense). I am only able to make the drive to the states on the weekends. I am willing to work with the buyer and shipping company. Also, I wouldn't hesitate to drive this car across the country, so if you want to come pick it up, we can meet at an airport nearby. The car is a southern car (Houston before me) and it has not been driven in the snow/salt. There is no rust on the car, except the minor superficial rust you would see from a 12+ year old car in AZ/TX. I have a free and clear title in my possession. Feel free to ask any questions. If you want to talk price, please send me an offer first. More pictures or videos available upon request. I am selling because I just bought a new car. I will accept final payment via paypal, but you are responsible for all the fees involved (I think it is 3% or less). Thanks for looking and good luck bidding. |

Nissan Rogue gives brand rare monthly sales lead over Honda
Tue, 04 Feb 2014The five top-selling brands in the automotive industry are usually Ford, Toyota, Chevy, Honda and Nissan, in that order. This lineup emerged intact when counting a year's worth of sales for 2013, and there was no reason to expect it would change at the beginning of 2014. But it did. Thanks to surging sales of its all-new Rogue, Nissan managed to pull ahead of Honda to become the fourth best-selling auto brand in January 2014, selling 81,472 units (an increase of 10.41 percent compared to January 2013) to Honda's 80,808 (a decrease of 3.96 percent).
The Rogue led the way for Nissan, contributing an additional 4,880 units in January compared to the same month last year - a 54.5-percent increase for a grand total of 13,831 units. But the Rogue had help, with the Frontier pickup adding an extra 2,307 units (an 87.9-percent increase), the Juke an extra 1,081 units (a 45.8-percent increase), the Altima an extra 1,051 units (a 4.9-percent increase) and the Maxima an additional 983 units (a 32.9-percent increase). Honda, meanwhile, was hurt by falling sales of the Accord (down 13.9 percent) and Pilot (down 7.6 percent), and stagnant sales of the Civic.
Honda, however, should take pride in the fact that it's luxury division, Acura, outsold Infiniti, Nissan's luxury division, last month - 10,823 units sold to 8,998. That margin of victory was large enough to keep the parent company of American Honda ahead of Nissan North America for the month of January.
2014 Honda Civic priced from $18,190*, new CVT boosts city mpg
Thu, 05 Dec 2013For the third consecutive model year, Honda has given its Civic lineup some substantial improvements, and with the 2014 Civic Coupe and Sedan going on sale this week, the automaker has released pricing and fuel economy numbers for its gas and non-Si models. Honda has not released any images of the 2014 Civic Sedan yet, but we got our first look at the updated Coupe last month at SEMA.
Aside from styling changes introduced on the 2013 Sedan being carried over to the 2014 Coupe, the biggest update to all 2014 Civics might be the addition of the continuously variable transmission (CVT). Fuel economy figures carry over for cars with the manual transmission, but models swapping the previous five-speed automatic for the new CVT are seeing a boost in city fuel economy by 2 mpg helping the Civic max out at 31 mpg city for the fuel-miser HF trim level.
In terms of pricing, the 2014 Civic is getting a modest price hike of $225 for the base LX models, which now start at $18,190* for the Coupe and $18,390* for the Sedan (*not including $790 for destination charges). The sedan-only HF trim level is up $175, there's a $275 price increase for the EX and EX-L Coupe and EX Sedan models and an extra $475 has been tacked on to the EX-L Sedan.
Honda HR-V gets early reveal
Mon, 17 Nov 2014If the Honda HR-V feels awfully familiar to you by now, you're not alone. We've seen it debut in Japanese form (dubbed "Vezel"), caught a prototype in Paris, and Honda first showed us the US-spec version in press-photo form all the way back at the New York Auto Show in April. We're finally going to get all the details on Honda's new subcompact crossover this week as part of the Los Angeles Auto Show, but first, we're getting an early look at the CUV today.
We met the Honda HR-V for a cup of coffee this morning at Randy's Donuts just outside of Los Angeles, and got our first look at the new CUV in the metal. It's a handsome little thing, offering a higher-riding, more butch alternative to the Fit hatchback on which it's based. We particularly like how the rear door handles are integrated into the pillars, for an almost three-door look from some angles.
Technical details are still scarce as of this writing, though we expect those to be revealed during Honda's press conference on Wednesday. For now, we just know that the HR-V should be an incredibly practical little thing, using the Magic Seat system that has made the Fit such a versatile and capacious subcompact. Stay tuned for more, and see the HR-V from all angles in our live gallery, above.
