1992 Honda Accord Lx Sedan on 2040-cars
Carmichael, California, United States
|
Up for sale is a 1992 Honda Accord LX sedan. This is a factory, all original, JDM car that has only had one owner before me. This vehicle is in excellent condition and has been meticulously cared for. This Accord was originally purchased at Carmichael Honda (Sacramento, CA) and has been continually serviced there. This car gets a lot of compliments and people are constantly commenting about how good a condition it's in.
This Accord has Power Steering, Tilt Steering, Power Brakes, Power Windows, Cruise Control, Air Conditioning, AM/FM stereo, Remote Locks, Alarm, etc. Everything works as it should (lights, stereo, heat/air, power windows, cruise control, etc). The only item not currently working is the recirc function on the AC. Howevever, the AC itself blows nice and cold. The current mileage is 190,966. It has a recent oil change and it just past smog with flying colors.
As noted, the vehicle has some of the normal wear and tear that can be expected from a 22 year old vehicle (e.g. fading of cloth on rear seat headrests, wear on driver's side floor mat, minor chips, dings, and/or scratches in paint, etc). However, all-in-all the vehicle presents very well. Tires are somewhere around 50%.
This is a great little sedan that gets good gas mileage (approximately 35mpg), runs smooth, and is easy to drive.
This vehcile is being sold in an effort to establish Region 4 Rescue as a non-profit organization with the mission of providing training and logistical support to volunteer rescuers. Please feel free to check us out on Facebook at https://www.facebook.com/#!/region4rescue
Disclaimers: This vehicle is also available for sale locally, so the ebay auction may end prematurely if a local buyer purchases the vehicle. This vehicle is being sold "As-Is" with no warranty expressed or implied. This is a used vehicle.

Honda working on mid-engine sports car?
Thu, Jun 11 2015The NSX and new Civic Type R might not be the end of Honda's performance push. Patent images obtained by Autovisie in the Netherlands show the Japanese brand's possible design for another mid-engine sports car with what looks to be a removable top. According to Autovisie, the patent was registered on May 27 and was just released. However, nothing else official is known about the vehicle at this time. We can think of several possibilities as to what this might be. Honda is reportedly already working on the design for a future NSX convertible, although these images show significant changes to the overall shape compared to the coupe, which makes this possibility dubious. The automaker is also considering a performance model to slot below its halo car in the future, but without any scale, the size is hard to judge here. The S660 coming to North America is rumored as well, and maybe these shots are a redesign. Of course, the company's designers might just be toying around and patenting the shape for something else. This design definitely has a familial resemblance with the NSX and S660, and it looks great. Let us know in Comments what you think the vehicle might be.
Acura introduces a sleeker self-driving test car
Wed, May 18 2016As we creep ever closer to an autonomous-car future, one thing is for certain, most of the driverless cars we see being tested look hideous thanks to all the sensors strapped to the roof. Today Acura introduced its second generation Automated Acura RLX Development Vehicle with updated sensors and a more pleasing aesthetic. Gone is the spinning LIDAR system replaced with a more compact and robust version of the light detection and ranging technology. It's also got updated RADAR, camera, GPS and higher performance GPUs and CPUs as well as what Acura is calling "more intelligent software algorithms to support more complex testing scenarios." Acura and its parent company Honda have been testing autonomous cars at its GoMentum Station in the Bay Area since last year with a specially outfitted RLX (shown in the video above with the spinning LIDAR system). This new car will replace that vehicle. This article by Roberto Baldwin originally ran on Engadget, the definitive guide to this connected life. Average new-vehicle transaction price hits a whopping new peak in December
Wed, Jan 11 2023Elevated prices for products and higher borrowing rates led to record high transaction prices for new vehicles in December, with the average cost in the U.S. rising to a record $49,507, according to data from Kelley Blue Book released today. The report notes that ATPs — average transaction prices — have climbed above suggested retail prices — MSRPs — for more than a year. Sales volumes were up in December on a year-over-year basis by more than 5%, a situation Kelley attributed to improved supply. Overall sales for 2022, however, were off 8% year over year. “The transaction data from December clearly indicates overall prices showed no signs of coming down as we headed into year-end,” said Rebecca Rydzewski, research manager of economic and industry insights for Cox Automotive. “Luxury prices fell slightly in December, but non-luxury transaction prices were up. Truck sales were particularly strong last month, and with many trucks selling for more than $60,000, a new record was all but inevitable.” Industry analysts claim the most obvious headwinds in the new car market are generated by higher interest rates, forced by the Federal Reserve's rate hikes intended to tame inflation, and by generally limited inventory. A recent report from J.D. Power showed that the average monthly payment for a new vehicle loan in December was $718, up $47 from a year ago. But 16% of consumers in December took out loans with monthly payments of over $1,000. Consumers think vehicles, and electric vehicles especially, are way too expensive. Fortunately, manufacturersÂ’ incentives, all but extinct in the past two years, are returning, especially in the electric-vehicle and luxury market, the Kelley data suggest. Plus, "With the new tax credits on the way, electric vehicle ATPs will drop lower for qualifying vehicles,” Rydzewski said. Non-luxury brands, such as Honda and Kia, showed particularly strong performance in December, with the average price paid at $45,578 — a record high and an increase of $994 month over month. Meanwhile, the average luxury buyer paid $66,660 for a new vehicle last month. Mercedes-Benz and Land Rover showed the most price strength in the luxury market, transacting between 2.6% to 6.5% over sticker price. But luxury brands Audi, BMW, Infiniti, Lexus, Lincoln, and Volvo showed the least price strength with some discounting in effect, selling 1% or more below MSRP in December, according to the survey.
