1999 GMC Yukon SLT Here is a very nice 99 Yukon. Check out my store for more great Unique and Classic Cars. Look at the Autocheck Score. Make sure and check out the Video below. This is a great running truck. It has the 5.7L 350 engine which is a great motor that is reliable, puts out plenty of power, and gets decent gas mileage. Someone has taken care of this truck as you can tell. It fires right up and runs great. I did have the transmission replaced so that shouldn't be a worry. It is a nice driver and just cruises down the road. Everything on the truck feels tight. Under the hood and undercarriage are clean and dry as can be. Make sure you watch the video I do a complete walk around of this truck inside and out and even take it for a test drive. The exterior of this SUV is nice. It is black in color and the paint has a very nice shine to it. There is a little bit of the clear coat peeling on the top surfaces as you can see but nothing major. The body is straight as can be and hardly a dent or ding anywhere. All of the chrome on the bumpers and grill is in very good condition and just shines in the sun. It does have a nice set of aftermarket black nerf/step bars to make it easier to get in and out of. The factory wheels are in great condition and don't show much for road wear. It has a nice set of Dunlop tires that I would say have about 85% tread left. These are nice tires that have a lot of miles left on them. Options: Automatic Transmission 5.7L 350 V8 Power Windows Power Locks Power Seats Leather Cassette/CD Player Factory A/C Rear Vent Controls The interior is in very good condition on this Yukon. It has the light grey leather interior that goes great with the black exterior. The front seats do show a little wear but nothing major and aren't all tore up. The back seats don't look like they every got sat in much and show almost no wear. The carpets are in good condition but do show some wear and have some stains that would come out if you shampooed it. There is lots of room in the back and the back seats folds down to give you more if you need it. This truck is fully loaded with all the options. Check out the video I go through and show you everything working or not. This is just a nice truck that is clean and a good runner. It is hard to find these in nice clean condition anymore so don't miss out. I took pictures of every detail of this car so you can get the full picture and know exactly what you are getting. 2024 GMC Sierra EV Denali Edition 1 reservations closed
Mon, Oct 24 2022Reservation slots for the 2024 GMC Sierra EV Denali Edition 1 are gone. As is the case with just about every vehicle that can be reserved, regardless of cost, there weren't enough slots to satisfy the initial rush. Carscoops noticed the situation first, getting confirmation from GMC that the only avenue remaining for now is to get on a waitlist. GMC's page for the Sierra EV affirms the same, declaring "Reservations are currently full" for the Denali Edition 1. Doing so meant putting down a $100 refundable deposit, a nominal sum that anyone could back out of, but we know by now that market conditions mean between reservation holders and the waitlist there are plenty who will conclude the transaction. Duncan Aldred, head of GMC and Buick, said so himself, telling Automotive News, "It's pretty amazing. A few years ago, when we were planning Hummer, the amount of vehicles sold over $100,000 in the entire industry was not that many. Now, that has radically changed in the last three years. There's been a rapid increase in vehicle prices and there's been an even quicker rise at the top end. We expect to sell out really quite quickly." The Sierra EV Denali Edition 1 comes loaded with quilted seats, real wood trim, Super Cruise, and two motors making a combined 754 horsepower and 785 pound-feet of torque, and starts at $108,695. We don't have a number to put to the phrase "sell out," though. As GM did with the Cadillac Lyriq and Chevrolet Silverado EV, reps wouldn't divulge production caps. Aldred did admit that the reservation number is below 10,000. Two more Sierra EV trims are coming, but they're not due until 2025. That starts with the base Elevation trim bringing an MSRP around $50,000. Note, that MSRP is the prediction now. Three years is a long way away. When reservations open to the public for the standard Sierra EV Denali expected in 2024 and the following trims, GMC plans to keep a tight lid on the pot. Remember, with the Hummer EV, GMC took so many reservations that current production rates mean the automaker won't clear the list for years. Production rates will climb, certainly. However, GM builds the pickups and its Cruise Origin delivery vehicle at its Factory Zero, and there are already 110,000 Silverado EV reservations alone to get through.
2019 GMC Sierra shows off new headlights in Los Angeles
Mon, Jan 22 2018Despite being just three weeks in to 2018, it's not too early to dub this the year of the truck. At last week's Detroit Auto Show, we saw the debuts of the 2019 Chevy Silverado, 2019 Ram 1500 and the return of the 2019 Ford Ranger. As with every new Silverado, a sister vehicle follows from GMC. Just take a look at these new spy shots of the 2019 GMC Sierra 1500. These photos were taken out in Los Angeles, presumably for some warm weather testing outside of Michigan. At the Silverado's debut, GM VP Mark Reuss said there would be a significant difference between the Silverado and Sierra with this new generation. The grille on the Sierra appears to be far more upright and rectangular, contrasting the rounded look of the new Silverado. The headlights are larger and more upright. The same goes for the foglights. The profile and rear look fairly similar, though the fenders on the Sierra are more squared off. While we don't know what will rest under the Sierra's hood, expect it to share powertrains with the Silverado. That would mean updated versions of the 5.3-liter V8 and 6.2-liter V8 would be joined by 3.0-liter inline-six diesel. Look for the new Sierra as soon as the Chicago Auto Show next month. GM recalls 330,000 fullsize trucks for airbag replacement
Sun, May 31 2015General Motors has announced a recall of 330,198 fullsize pickups in the US in the aftermath of the announcement made on May 19 that doubled the number of vehicles being called in to replace Takata's defective airbag inflators. That announcement expanded the nationwide recall to an estimated 33.8 million vehicles in the US. Heavy Duty versions of the 2007 and 2008 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra are included in GM's move, for the purpose of replacing the passenger airbag inflators. The announcement made by the National Highway Traffic Safety Association cited long-term exposure to moisture as a possible cause of the inflator issues. GM says it isn't aware of any problems with the recalled pickups due to moisture, nor has it had any reports of crashes, injuries, or fatalities, and has not received any complaints. GM will notify owners, who can then take their trucks to the dealers to have them repaired free of charge. You'll find a statement from GM and the recall notice from NHTSA below.
