We are very pleased to offer this 1992 GMC Typhoon for sale at a very low price:

This is the 440th Typhoon ever produced by GMC in a limited run of this special production vehicle according to the SY/TY VIN database.
Important: Please read complete listing and look at pictures carefully before placing a bid.

We recently took this vehicle in on trade and it is the topic of conversation non stop.
The previous owner had spent lots of time and effort to give this Typhoon that "Beast" like look that so many men out there desire. While giving it that look, it is fairly easy to return it to that stock collector quality that you collectors out there so much desire.
The interior is immaculate. From what we can tell it is near mint condition. The stock radio and roof rack are no longer with the vehicle.   All fluids were gone through as well as a fresh oil change and tune up. The Typhoon is currently wrapped Satin Black. This wrap is removable if the buyer would like to return it to stock. We are not aware of the paint quality underneath, however we are told the paint under the wrap is original. The tires are Eagle GT's with good tread.  The A/C was just re-charged. The windows have fresh limo tint, the tail lights freshly smoked. Brand new windshield as well. The vehicle will ship with brand new silver and grey Typhoon decals if you wish to add them to the fresh new wrap. We are loving the look of this vehicle and so should you.

We encourage all in person inspections before commitment to buy. We also encourage you to ask any questions or inquire for pictures of any part of the vehicle you wish to see. This vehicle is being sold as is with no returns or warranties expressed or implied.
We are willing to work out shipping to any state. Buyer must pay for own shipping or pick up locally. The vehicle will be cleared to ship after payment has been wired into bank account pre-determined and seller has determined an exact date for release.

Clean Nevada title with notarized DMV bill of sale will accompany the vehicle. New buyer must register vehicle in his/her own name and a fresh title will follow with your name on it.
This Typhoon is also available for sale locally and seller has the right to end the sale at any time if the vehicle should be sold.
This is a private sale so no dealer fees or taxes will apply.
Email us at any time if you wish to make an offer on this vehicle or for all questions and additional pictures.

There will be a non-refundable deposit via paypal due within 48 hours of auction close $500.
Please bid responsibly, we do not want to have to continuously re-list this vehicle for a non paying buyer.
All bidders with feedback less than 5 will have their bids subject to cancellation without an email from the bidder.
Full payment must be made within 3 days of auction close via wire transfer from your financial institution.

GM delivers best Q3 sales since 1980, 2.4M vehicles sold

Wed, 15 Oct 2014

People are a weird sort. Even after registering over 70 recalls through the first three-quarters of 2014, General Motors saw its best Q3 results since Jimmy Carter was in the White House, registering over 2.4 million global sales between June and September on the back of strong results in the US and China.
US sales were marshaled by good results for GM's pickups, the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra, which bumped the manufacturer's truck market share to 35.6 percent, up nearly three points from Q1 2014. Buick has seen healthy growth as well, with the Encore dominating its segment for the sixth month running.
It was China, though, that really bolstered GM's sales, as the company's efforts to top last year's record-setting 3.16 million units continued apace. Small SUV sales saw massive growth, with Encore, Chevrolet Trax and Captiva figures jumping 90 percent in Q3. Brand-wise, Chevrolet, Cadillac and Buick all saw sales gains in the PRC, with each recording double-digit year-over-year jumps. Cadillac sales alone were up 63 percent compared to the first nine months of 2013.

eBay Find of the Day: 1976 GMC Motorhome is a jolly green giant

Wed, 18 Jun 2014

If you have a need to relive the 1970s, then here is the vehicle for you. This groovy blast from the past is a 1976 GMC Motorhome currently for auction in Florida on eBay Motors, and it is one green machine - just not in the modern sense.
The seller claims that this beast has had just two owners and has covered a mere 61,308 miles in its decades on the road. It's reportedly never been restored or repainted and comes with all of the necessary books and manuals. A 7.5-liter (455-cubic-inch) Oldsmobile V8 with a three-speed Turbo-Hydramatic automatic transmission powering the front wheels propels this far-out RV, and the double set of rear wheels out back use a self-leveling air suspension to provide a cushy ride.
The purported low miles and good condition really make this GMC a stand out, though. The exterior combination of lime stripes and beige with just a touch of green is like nothing else on the road today. Plus, the polished bumpers and wheels make it all pop. Inside, it's even better with monochromatic green upholstery and shag carpet. It features everything you'd ever need on a long trip, including a bathroom, kitchenette and lots of seating. The only hint of modernization is an HD TV next to the stove, but its size is a perfect fit for the hole there.
