Auburn, Maine, United States
2007 GMC Sierra 2500 HD SLE crew cab. White exterior with a gray cloth interior. 102,000 miles approximately however increasing as this vehicle is my daily driver. This vehicle is a four-wheel-drive vehicle and has the Z 71 off-road package. It also has the heavy-duty towing package with the upgraded mirrors, built in brake controller, transmission cooler lines and heavy duty hitch receiver. There are no rips in any of the seats. The vehicle has always been well-maintained and recently had upgraded PIAA headlights installed. The vehicle is stock. The vehicle has the option of coming with an extended warranty that I have purchased through 119,000 miles, this is dependent upon the final sale price as to whether not this will come with the vehicle. The tread on the tires is excellent, the vehicle just passed a state of Maine inspection, which is a fairly rigorous test of most safety related systems in the vehicle. The air conditioning works great and blows very cold. The four-wheel-drive system also works very well and has a low and high range option that engage flawlessly. Feel free to contact me with any questions you may have about the vehicle, I'm more than willing to send additional pictures if requested and look forward to discussing my vehicle with you. Thank you for looking at this nice example of the new body style GMC Sierra 2500 HD. |

GM recalling 118K Colorado, Canyon pickups over missing hood latches
Thu, 20 Dec 2012General Motors has announced a recall of 118,800 Chevrolet Colorado and GMC Canyon pickup trucks due to the possibility of secondary hood latches not being installed at the time of manufacture. The affected vehicles are from the 2010, 2011 and 2012 model years, all of which were built between November 9, 2009 and August 28, 2012.
According to the official National Highway Traffic Safety Administration report, these trucks fail to "comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard No. 113, 'Hood Latch System.' The hood may be missing the secondary hood latch." In other words, owners of these trucks could find their vehicles' hoods opening unexpectedly while driving.
The official recall campaign is expected to begin on January 17, 2013. Dealers will inspect the affected pickups and if a secondary hood latch is not present, one will be installed free of charge. Scroll down to read the official NHTSA report.

The Pagani is everything opposite to that Vandura, but while you might not ever win anything with the van, you can always use the back of it as a place to give out free hugs. Check out the video and press release below for more details.
Detroit 3 to implement delayed unified towing standards for 2015
Mon, 10 Feb 2014Car buyers have a responsibility to be well-informed consumers. That's not always a very simple task, but some guidelines are self-evident. If you live in a very snowy climate, you generally know a Ford Mustang or Chevrolet Camaro might not be as viable a vehicle choice as an all-wheel drive Explorer or Traverse, for example. If you want a fuel-efficient car, it's generally a good idea to know the difference between a diesel and a hybrid. But what if it's kind of tough to be an informed consumer? What if the information you need is more difficult to come by, or worse, based on different standards for each vehicle? Well, in that case, you might be a truck shopper.
For years, customers of light-duty pickups have had to suffer through different ratings of towing capacities for each brand. For 2015 model year trucks, though, that will no longer be a problem. According to Automotive News, General Motors, Ford and Chrysler Group have announced that starting with next year's models, a common standard will be used to measure towing capacity. The Detroit Three will join Toyota, which adopted the Society of Automotive Engineers' so-called SAE J2807 standards way back in 2011.
The standard was originally supposed to be in place for MY2013, but concerns that it would lower the overall stated capacity for trucks led Detroit automakers to pass. Ford originally passed, claiming it'd wait until its new F-150 was launched to adopt the new standards, leading GM and Ram to follow suit. Nissan, meanwhile, has said it will adopt the new standards as its vehicles are updated, meaning the company's next-generation Titan should adhere to the same tow ratings as its competitors.
