This truck was purchased a few months back as a project. I wanted to restore it to original condition and clean it up real good but have run out of time. I need to move shortly and the truck needs to go. I have put every bolt on sensor under the hood on this truck since I've owned it. It runs very well. The front end has been completely gone through minus the lower ball joints which I have. I did drive it daily for a couple months just to work out the kinks and it runs excellent. The only things it is lacking now for being a good run around truck is two front tires, front brakes, the lower ball joints, and a alignment. The ac does NOT work and the clutch seems to be way up on the pedal travel but does not slip at all and engages fine. I believe it is the slave cylinder but haven't looked into it anymore.
I have a lot of time and money invested in this truck and have all the receipts for everything I have put on it since owning it. I had all intentions of fixing it up real well and keeping it for years but I have to move in a couple months and simply don't want to transport the truck with me. I had it up for sale about a month ago with a asking price of 2,000 and had no real bites. Now the price is 1,500 obo. I will sell to s.c. resident only and cash on pick up only.
There is no warranty with the truck. Lets face it, its a 1990. I can't be responsible for anything that may be wrong with it. Its not in show room condition. Its a truck and someone used it as such. In the right hands it really wouldn't take much to be a great restore or even just a great daily driver back and forth to work and such.
Feel free to call me with any questions. Glenn 912-678-1595. Serious buyers only. No I will not take payments, Don't try with 500 dollar offers or trades. A serious offer with cash in hand and I will consider. I'm not going to give it away. If it doesn't sell I will take it with me. There was a gentleman that came and looked at it before who made a decent offer. I turned you down at the time and wished I hadn't now. I lost your number and name but if you are still interested and want to call me nothing has changed on the truck and I will except your original offer.
Thank you all for looking and hope to hear from you.

2015 GMC Yukon Denali
Tue, 25 Mar 2014Automotive enthusiasts often wonder aloud - ourselves included - why General Motors would choose to keep GMC while sending Pontiac (and Saturn, and even Oldsmobile before it) into the great automotive graveyard in the sky. The answer, as is so often the case, is profit. It's much easier for GM to rake in money hand over fist by rejiggering the trucks, crossovers and SUVs that it would already be developing for Chevrolet and making them a bit more luxurious and *ahem* "Professional Grade" with new grilles, badges and unique packaging for GMC.
While it may sound like we're being cynical, we totally approve of GM's fullsize SUV strategy. The least-expensive way to get into the fold is with the Chevrolet Tahoe, which starts at $45,595 with a 5.3-liter V8 engine and a cloth interior. Bumping that same Chevy to LTZ trim and its $59,995 sticker price lands a much nicer leather-clad interior and more techno-bells and whistles than you can shake a stick at. But it still looks like a Tahoe, and it still comes with the smaller 5.3-liter engine. Or, you could do what we'd do: Walk into your GMC dealer and take a look at the Yukon Denali. Here's why.

GM 6.2L V8 claims most powerful light-duty truck engine title
Thu, 12 Sep 2013General Motors has officially captured the horsepower crown for mainstream pickup trucks with its 6.2-liter V8. The big mill, available in both the Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra, comes to market with 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque, handily outdoing its two cross-town competitors, Ram (5.7-liter V8, 395 ponies and 407 lb-ft) and Ford (6.2-liter V8, 411 hp and 434 lb-ft).
The new GM 6.2 will take a bit of an investment, though. Those that want the extra thrust will need to go with either the LTZ or High Country trims from the Chevy, or the SLT and Denali trims from GMC, which are the two highest trim levels for the respective vehicles. Trim levels aside, if you're in the business of towing, GM has you covered. Optioned with the 6.2-liter V8 and the Max Trailering Package, owners will be able to pull 12,000 pounds, a hugely impressive figure.
We still aren't certain as to what sort of economy the new engine will get, but it'll probably be a bad bet for the fuel conscious. As for availability, expect to see the 6.2-liter trucks in showrooms later in the fall.
Chevy Colorado configurator goes live as GM touts fuel efficiency
Wed, 03 Sep 2014While the news of today is destined to be dominated by a certain plucky Japanese roadster, props to Chevrolet and GMC for announcing its own significant bit of news about their newest pickup twins, the midsize Colorado and Canyon. The two GM-owned brands announced that the twins' 3.6-liter V6 will return up to 26 miles per gallon on the freeway.
To get such efficiency from the 305-horsepower mill, you'll need to live without four-wheel drive and be okay with a max city fuel economy of 18 mpg. The combined rating for the 2WD model sits at 21 mpg. Adding four-wheel drive drops the city and combined ratings by one mpg, while the highway rating dips from 26 to 24 mpg.
As for the twins' eagerly anticipated 2.8-liter diesel engine, it's destined for model year 2016, meaning we've got a ways to go before its efficiency and output are certified.
