Up for auction is 1 of our GMC 1500 Extended Cab SLE Z71 four wheel drive trucks. This 1 is a 2011 in pristine condition. This truck has ZERO/NO dings, rust, dents, paint lines. The bed is in perfect condition protected by a factory GM bed-liner. I also installed bed caps for extra protection. Also installed are factory wheel well liners to prevent any rust etc. The color is called Storm Gray and it is absolutely beautiful ! We are a PRO Wax distributor so the miles are highway to make calls in our quad-state area. All the glass is perfect. EVERYTHING works as it should and the truck is under factory warranty for up to 5years/100,000 miles. This truck is a MOBIL 1 vehicle. I always install top of the line K&N air boxes and a Dyno Max cat back systems on all our trucks. Horsepower goes to 360HP plus over 18.5 MPG average. I will include the original exhaust and air box just in case you prefer 315HP and 15MPG. It takes about an hour or two to switch it back. I also installed factory GMC 18" Chrome plated aluminum wheels with Bridgestone Dueler A/T tires. They have 22,500 miles on them and are good for 55/60,000 miles if you rotate them as I do. The following things were done at 60,000; New Bosch Iridium spark plugs, 10.4 mm Taylor wires, thermostat, antifreeze, lightly turn the rotors & new factory brake pads. I do this on all our trucks every 60,000 miles. These LS V8s can easily get to 250/300,000+ miles by doing these simple steps every 60,000 miles. I also installed an aluminum billet grill, full set of GMC mud flaps, chrome mirror covers, chrome door handle covers, & chrome tailgate handle cover. Notice this truck also has a locking tailgate. Truck has (2) factory key-less remote entry's with remote starter. Both remotes are brand new at 60,000 miles. Floor mats are the HD weather guard type. This truck has no rattles, squeaks, etc & drives brand new ! I just had our dealer do a MOBIL1 service last Monday. This truck features the Z71 Off Road Package, this package includes a HD Eaton rear locking differential, skid plates, HD gas shocks etc. The GMC SLE package gives you nicer door trim panels, nicer seats including power windows and door locks. Also the SLE gives you nicer seats, carpet, cup holders everywhere, fold down center arm rest w/cup holders, Tilt steering wheel, cruise control, power driver's seat, fold up rear seat, body side moldings, Bluetooth and MORE ! ! I'm sure that I may have forgot something so you may call me 317-931-9891 or 317-745-5059. I may entertain certain trades plus cash if they are pristine, I am very picky ! So probably not. If you have to get this truck asap and can't wait until the auction is over, call me with an offer I can't refuse over the starting bid amount. As you can see by this truck's looks, it's babied. I have won a BUNCH of trophies over the years by showing vehicles. I have been on ebay since 1999 so (please) no games. This auction will be set as a extremely low opening price and a very very low & fair BuyItNow. Ebay has filters in place and they usually work. Before you make an offer or bid please get permission first and have your funds ready. If you make a bid and ebay's filters accept it> be prepared to OWN this truck. Bank wire transfers are the fastest and work great. The title is FREE & CLEAR in my name and in hand. The truck does not leave until all monies clear. No checks, no money orders etc. We own our business so I can take some $$$ on your card, no AmEx. The title will be sent "Next Day" to you after funds clear or immediately if cash is used. A cash payment will ONLY accepted & be done at our bank. Buyer pays for shipping, no games. I will help in loading, as always, & send you pictures immediately via my smart phone. By the way this truck has always been adult driven by the previous owner & myself. I am 60 and have owned about 100 vehicles including many "show" cars etc. As our company moves closer to being a full time internet business we simply don't need this truck anymore. We are in the process of getting another vehicle from out of state so this truck is for sale. I reserve the right to end this auction at any time. Your bid is a legal biding cash offer ! ! So if you want a great truck and don't want to spend $38,000+ here you go ! ! Steal it ! ! Window sticker and dealer paperwork and disk etc in included (see pictures ! !) Today's miles are under 62,600 but they may change, so I posted more to be safe. Thank you, Patrick

GM is quietly slashing prices on base models
Fri, Jan 30 2015While General Motors' fourth quarter financial figures haven't yet been released, the automaker seems to be weathering a potentially rocky time well, even beating third-quarter projections last year. To keep the climb going, the company is launching new base trims for several popular models that make them cheaper than ever but with tight dealer margins. The new entry-level trims are the Chevrolet Cruze L, Equinox L, GMC Terrain SL and Buick LaCrosse 1SV. Buyers lose some content by picking them, but the prices are slashed. According to Cars Direct, the biggest savings are on the LaCrosse, where customers pay $31,065, plus $925 destination, $2,570 less than the previous base 1SB trim but must accept things like 17-inch wheels and no cargo net in the back. If you're wondering how Buick can remove only a little equipment but cut the price so much, it's because the company also slashed dealer margins. According to Cars Direct, the difference between the invoice and MSRP for the LaCrosse 1SV is only around $150, compared to around $1,350 before. The disparity is even greater for the Cruze with an $81 difference in the prices, compared to about $600 for the LS version. Showrooms are expected to keep very low stocks of these trims, though. "Dealers use such vehicles to get people in the door, but they do not generally want to do high volumes of these strippers. The margins are next to nothing; they don't make much money off these cars," said Ed Kim, Vice President of Industry Analysis for AutoPacific to Autoblog. Dealers are also expected to advertise that these new base trims undercut major competitors. For example, the Cruze L rings up for about $2,320 less than a Honda Civic LX, according to Cars Direct. One potential drawback for buyers is that these models might not be eligible for incentives. While the attractive prices might get customers into dealers, folks may not actually end up driving home with these entry-level models. Kim indicated base trims also make up a small portion of the sales mix. "Consumers aren't asking for stripped out vehicles, even at the low end of the marketplace," he said. GMC Sierra Denali CarbonPro bed is finally, almost here
Thu, Apr 11 2019GMC revealed the Sierra 1500 with the optional CarbonPro bed on March 1, 2018. The bed wasn't available at launch, though. You can't buy it now, either, but it will hit dealerships with limited availability after production starts in early June, exclusively for the Denali 1500 and AT4 1500 trims. The carbon floor and sides replace the steel panels in a normal bed, providing "strength, durability, and scratch resistance" and a potential 59-pound weight saving, depending on the truck's configuration. To make sure the bed had a chance, development engineers replicated "extreme use scenarios" like dropping 1,800-pound gravel loads, 450-pound steel drums, and cinder blocks from various heights. They put a 250-pound man on a snowmobile with studded tracks, had him drive into the bed and then go wide-open throttle. We're told the result was "minimal scratching." On top of the extreme weather testing any vehicle goes through, the team also put a generator in the bed and aim the exhaust into a corner to ensure vibration and direct heat wouldn't deform the carbon fiber. Because of the finer shaping area-specific strength possible with carbon fiber, the bed provides one cubic foot of additional payload space by having its sidewalls pushed further out. The CarbonPro bed doesn't need a bedliner, and is grained at the top for better traction but smooth on the bottom for easier hosing down and dirt removal. Tie-downs at the front of the bed work with molded indentations to hold motorcycle tires, and slots in the sidewalls hold two-by-sixes. The truck maker says the carbon-lined payload area confers "best-in-class dent, scratch and corrosion resistance," but we suppose the nation's pickup truck army will prove that or not. The trucks likely won't have the hardest life at the start, since the Sierra Denali costs $56,790 before even a basic option like four-wheel drive. The real test probably won't come until around 2029, when third owners begin treating their aerospace-inspired thoroughbreds like dray horses.
2015 GMC Canyon gets the party started [w/video]
Sun, 12 Jan 2014The 2014 Detroit Auto Show press days officially kick off tomorrow, but the night before all the madness commences, General Motors drove its new 2015 GMC Canyon pickup truck out for all to see. To refresh your memory, the Canyon is GMC's new midsize pickup - essentially a re-skinned version of the Chevrolet Colorado that debuted at the LA Auto Show in November.
Many of us at Autoblog prefer the look of the larger GMC Sierra to that of its Chevy Silverado kin, and we're having similar feelings about the new Canyon, especially after seeing it in person. It's sort of a pint-sized version of the Sierra, and it looks great. Clean lines are found throughout, and the Canyon's styling is decidedly premium.
At launch, the Canyon will be offered with the same engines as the Colorado - a 2.5-liter inline four-cylinder engine with 193 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque on the base end, and a larger 3.6-liter V6 with 302 hp and 270 lb-ft as an option. The Colorado's 2.8-liter diesel inline four-cylinder will be available after launch. Both two- and four-wheel drive configurations will be available, depending on the model.
