2000 Gmc Jimmy Slt Sport Utility 4-door 4.3l on 2040-cars
Monaca, Pennsylvania, United States
Up for sale is my 2000 GMC Jimmy SLE. It has been started but not road run for about 5 months. It does need new tires on all 4 wheels and it does not have a valid inspection. The other part is a split fuel line below the driver rear door. It is a 5 inch piece of line that would need replaced. The brakes are in great shape and the body is solid with no rust. There is a tear in the drivers seat which can be repaired. It has your normal wear and tear on a 14 year old vehicle. It does have push button 4x4 and a nice auto 4x4 feature when it feels the rear wheels slip it will kick in automatically. It also has a tow function, but has no wiring or hitch. Another smaller issue is the pop feature for the rear hatch had broken about a year ago and I had to cut a square into the back hatch interior plastic to replace the small arm to get the window to open. It does start fine and runs. No leaks in the engine or trans. If you have any questions feel free to ask. When it is better weather in the next day I will take more pictures. THE LIGHT BAR AND PLATES ARE NOT INCLUDED IN THIS AUCTION. BUYER IS RESPONSIBLE FOR ALL TRANSPORT COSTS AND TITLE TRANSFER FEES. I CARRY NO WARRANTY ON THIS VEHICLE IN ANY SHAPE OR FORM. ALL LIABILITY IS ASSUMED ON THE BUYER. Thanks

You can now put prices to your wildest option-sheet dreams of the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra. A microsite for the full-size pickup truck twins has been up since January, and now the full-blown configurator is live and ready to take your virtual orders. The only two chassis configurations available at the moment are the Crew Cab with either a short or standard bed - Regular and Double Cab versions will come later. In Silverado flavors that will run you $32,710 for the short box, $33,010 for the standard box, while the Sierra adds a $1,500 premium to both of those prices, and destination and handling for both models adds another $995.
Since these are American pickups the list of modifications is lengthy, but we added $11,450 in just two steps by starting with the Silverado Crew Cab and standard bed, then checking four-wheel drive and the LTZ Z71 package. Our final truck, resplendent in Brownstone Metallic paint, heated and cooled Cocoa/Dune perforated leather seating and tasty details like chrome recovery hooks, and engine block heater and LED cargo box lighting, rang up $57,285 at the candy store.
They'll be on dealer lots sometime this summer, so now's a good time to start practicing your box-checking.
We dig simple solutions to problems. There's something highly gratifying about making a minute change to fix something, rather than tearing up the playbook. That's what GMC has done with the new Canyon midsize pickup.
When putting a car seat in, car seat manufacturers require that at least 80 percent of the seat's base fit on the bottom cushion. That's a big problem in extended-cab pickups like the Canyon, which feature jump seats with shorter bottom cushions, in place of the larger, more traditionally designed bench.
The Canyon gets around this with extendable jump seats - simply pop out the headrest and slot it into the bottom seat cushion, and the truck can now easily accommodate a child's seat.
Spy photographers have spotted the new Chevrolet Silverado High Country and GMC Sierra Denali out on public streets for a little testing. From the looks of things, the Silverado will receive a much-differentiated front fascia along with special badges and those honking 20-inch chrome wheels. Expect to find a more posh interior as well. Likewise, the Sierra Denali will wear a tweaked nose with the familiar Denali bling. The one of the GMC trucks spotted here rolls on 21-inch gunmetal wheels instead of the 20-inch chrome pieces of the High Country.
Word has it both trucks will go on sale after the Texas State Fair this summer. While General Motors hasn't said for certain what we can expect to find under the hood, we'd be surprised to see anything outside of the range of engines found in the standard Silverado and Sierra models. That means buyers should be able to get their hands on the efficient, 23-miles per gallon 5.3-liter V8.
