I have a beautiful full size GMC Jimmy . I purchased it from a gentleman that got it from the original owner and planned on restoring it. He had too many trucks and decided to sell it to finish other things. I purchased it because it was in excellent original condition and had not been kid owned! The paint was failing so I had it professionally painted at $4700. All the sheet metal appeared rust free and is original. The frame and undercarriage was very clean, only having normal weathering and minor surface rust. I painted most of the bottom as well and it looks great. This truck is very rust free! This is not a frame off restoration but is exceptional considering the excellent original interior. This truck was from dry north eastern Oregon and now eastern Washington. The rear interior panel show some wear and age where the tailgate closes, but is not noticeable when closed. The dash has I believe two small cracks, but it still looks great. The windshield, bumpers, trim, and top were removed for painting. I put new side moulding on, wheel arches, window exterior belt trim sides and tailgate.

Mechanical. I had a new GM reman. 700 r4 installed, it has around 20k and a transfer case seal. I had a new magnaflow catalytic converter installed recently with a new tailpipe and stainless tip. It has a flowmaster muffler. The engine is original and runs well, it has a newer water pump. The truck does have an add-a leaf 2" spring lift. The tires are 32" BF Goodrich all terrain. The diff gears are 3.42s.

This Jimmy drives nice and tight! The original owner maintained it very well. It was probably " grandpa owned" and not offloaded. The valve seals are tired, I will replace for my reserve price, ac slowly leaks, I think at the compressor, for buy it now I will replace and recharge the ac.

Interior. The seats are excellent and original, so is the carpet, the rear cargo area shows only minor spots. The headliner had a small spot that is loose .

New Chevrolet Silverado to be revealed on Facebook on Thursday

There's not much to see here, but if you're one of those waiting for the reveal of the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, above is the teaser image that Chevrolet posted on its Facebook page. We've seen the truck in form-fitting camo before, and even less can be made out here beyond those seriously punchy Silverado-esque fenders and the knowledge that the projector-beam headlamps teased previously do indeed work. We'll have to wait until Thursday for a full perusal of the "bold exterior design" and "careful attention given to every detail" we've been promised.
Gathering intel and rumors, magnesium and aluminum contribute to the Silverado's weight loss plan, the purported "High Country" top-tier trim will contribute to luxury pickup truck competition and profit margins and the next-generation small-block V8 will contribute to improved fuel economy. On the engine note, there have been rumors of available V6 engines, and when Facebook user John Jones asked "Where's your answer to that EcoBoost Chevy?", the Bowtie replied "stay tuned on the 13th. We think you'll be pleased...".
Along with the "Raise the Bar" tag, Chevrolet says of the Silverado, "You asked, we delivered." You can watch the reveal live on Chevrolet's Facebook page at 9:30 am EST, this Thursday, December 13. The GMC Sierra 1500 will also be there, and we'll see both in person at the Detroit Auto Show in January.

Watch the 2022 GMC Hummer EV launch using its Watts to Freedom mode

It’s nearly the July Fourth weekend, and GM is celebrating Independence Day a little earlier than most. The celebration comes in the form of a GMC Hummer EV demonstrating Watts to Freedom, or WTF, mode for us on video. You can watch it at the top of this post, but the idea is rather simple. ItÂ’s just a video of a Hummer development vehicle accelerating as quickly as it can from 0-60 mph and beyond. GMC claims its 1,000-horsepower electric Hummer is capable of hitting the 0-60 mph mark in Â“approximately 3 seconds,Â” which is borderline terrifying for how large of a vehicle it is. The super-quick time is possible when using the Watts to Freedom launch control mode, which Â“channels the propulsion systemÂ’s tremendous power into acceleration bursts.Â” The truck will still be plenty fast when accelerating normally, but WTF mode is what you should use to unlock its full potential. GMCÂ’s video shows us the graphics it uses in the digital cluster to signal Watts to Freedom is activated, and the whole sequence looks like it leans on U.S. military themes for both design and phrasing. For example, GMC lets you know that Watts to Freedom is ready via an Â“ArmedÂ” message in the cluster.Â The 2022 GMC HUMMER EV is a first-of-its kind supertruck develop View 40 Photos Instead of a rumbling exhaust and screeching tires, the Hummer appears to silently launch with all four tires grabbing on and catapulting the truck away. It looks quick as it throws all of the weight rearward into an accelerative squat. And in case you missed it, thatÂ’s a lot of weight Â— GMC says itÂ’ll tip the scale at 9,046 pounds. GMC has previously said that production will begin in late 2021, and this video continues to confirm that timeframe with a note saying Â“initial availability Fall 2021.Â” Do keep in mind that only the sold-out Launch Edition is coming at that time.
