This truck is in Great shape for the year and has been very well maintained, it runs great a little bit of belt squeal on start up but thats it, There are a few holes in the driver seat but only the bottom as shown in the pics, and I do have the molding for the drivers door just havent gotten around to gluing it back on, It has brand new exhaust starting with hedman headers to flowmaster type mufflers and new pipe all the way out the rear it sounds great, The undercarriage is remarkably clean with no rust issues at all, the hood had some surface rust but it was sanded and resprayed to avoid any further issues with that, it will need a little work but not much its a great running truck just a couple things like rear glass and a new dash pad but they do not effect the overall performance of the vehicle it has a tow hitch and is a 4x4 a great truck and a steal at $5500 This is my daily driver so the miles will be going up currently at 97,375 I would assume that it may have rolled over after all it is a 5 digit odo but it sure dosent run like it, she runs great, like I said it is my daily driver

2021 Cadillac Escalade, GMC Yukon, Chevy Suburban/Tahoe recalled for stall risk

Mon, Oct 4 2021

General Motors is recalling just shy of 15,000 2021 Cadillac Escalade & Escalade ESVs, Chevrolet Suburbans and Tahoes, GMC Yukons and Yukon XLs that were shipped with fuel pumps that were built with a batch of what may be faulty electronic control modules. A pump with a bad module can result in intermittent function, resulting in drivability issues and potential stalls. No serious incidents or injuries have been associated with the issue.  GM says it discovered the issue after analyzing early recall data for the 2021 model SUVs and discovering an unusually high failure rate for fuel pumps manufactured by a single supplier – Vitesco. The company was able to identify the batch and initiate a recall campaign targeting just those vehicles.  "After reviewing the field data, GM determined there were 617 potentially relevant complaints, which were received between April 15, 2020 and August 24, 2021," the company's recall report said. "229 of these complaints reported a stall while standing or moving. No accidents or injuries associated with this condition were found." Any SUVs built with pumps from that batch but not yet sold are being held at dealers for replacement parts. It may take some time for GM to source replacements due to the ongoing electronic parts shortages.  "We are working with the supplier to obtain the required parts as quickly as possible," GM said in its notice to dealers. "When sufficient quantity of parts are available, the recall bulletin will be released and dealers can begin repairing vehicles."

2022 GMC Yukon gets larger screen, standard power sliding console

Thu, Sep 30 2021

The 2022 GMC Yukon is falling into line with its big SUV siblings, the Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban, according to a rundown of new features on Muscle Cars & Trucks. We've already covered the availability of the 6.2-liter V8 on the AT4 trim, and it looks like GMC buyers will have an easier time of it than Chevy buyers who want the 6.2, the engine looking like a standalone option on the GMC.  Inside, the Yukon welcomes the 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster, replacing the previous eight-inch cluster that had an analogue tach and speedo. A little to the right, the infotainment system will come with Google Automotive built in, obviating the need to pull up Android Auto to get access to Google Maps, Google Assistant, and the Google Play Store. And just below that, the Yukon Denali makes the power sliding console a standard feature instead of a $350 option.  The big V8 with 420 horsepower and 460 pound-feet of torque comes with a shiny pair of exhaust finishers, plus 2022 sees the addition of Redwood Metallic paint, some new wheel options, and rocker panels that can be gussied up with illuminated sill plates. The current Yukon offers Max and ProGrade trailering packages, for next year an Enhanced Trailering Technology Package adds a 13-camera trailering bundle with the option for an interior accessory camera for those with enclosed haulers. On the safety side, expect reverse automatic braking to join the list of available driver assistance features. Related Video This content is hosted by a third party. 2022 GMC Hummer EV could get a rival from China's Dongfeng

Fri, Feb 4 2022

The popularity of GMC's Hummer EV hasn't gone unnoticed in China. State-owned carmaker Dongfeng is reportedly planning to launch an electric version of the M50 Warrior, a Hummer-like off-roader, that will inaugurate a new sub-brand dedicated to battery-powered trucks. Without citing sources, website Car News China wrote that the division will be called M, a letter that stands for something completely different if the cars that you're into come from Munich. Executives are initially planning three models called M18-1, M18-2, and M18-3, respectively. The M18-1 will reach the market first, and it's described as an electrified M50 Warrior (pictured) with seating for six. Dongfeng will build the M18-1 on a new architecture called MORV that was developed in-house. The powertrain will develop up to 1,072 horsepower, which is 72 horses more than the most powerful version of the Hummer EV, yet the zero-to-60-mph time will check in at under 5 seconds, which is roughly 2 seconds more than the GMC. It will offer around 310 miles of range thanks to a 140-kilowatt-hour battery. Another interesting point is that the M18-1 will supposedly be much lighter than the Hummer EV — it will even weigh less than the gasoline-powered M50 Warrior that it's based on. It will tip the scale at around 6,900 pounds and stretch about 205 inches long, compared to 9,046 pounds and 217 inches for the Hummer. Of course, these numbers are purely hypothetical until the truck starts rolling off the assembly line. Speaking of, production is tentatively scheduled to start in 2023 in a factory that's currently being built in China. Dongfeng expects to sell approximately 4,160 units per month, though nothing suggests that the M18-1 will venture onto the GMC Hummer EV's home turf.
