I have the above detailed vehicle in great shape.  I have receipts for all service and maintenance done to the car.  Vehicle has ran well and has been smoke-free.  Vehicle is free of dents or dings.  Bought this vehicle new and have been the only owner.

DVD players have just in the last month stopped turning on, I have not investigated this.

Looking to get rid of this and downsize to a car as the family is growing up.

Any questions please feel free to ask.

Compact SUV Comparison: Specs, pics and reviews of every brand's crossover

Wed, Jul 25 2018

Honda CR-V vs Toyota RAV4. Chevy Equinox vs Ford Escape. Mazda CX-5 vs Subaru Forester. Whichever combinations of compact crossover SUV you're considering, there's probably a comparison test or chart out there to read. Heck, you can even create a three-car comparison yourself here at Autoblog. However, if you want a bunch of that information all in one convenient place, well, here it is. Our mega comparison of specs, features and photos of compact SUV entries from every mainstream manufacturer that sells them. That includes the 2018 Chevrolet Equinox, 2018 Ford Escape, 2018 GMC Terrain, 2018 Honda CR-V, 2018 Hyundai Tucson, 2019 Jeep Cherokee (it's already on sale with notable changes from 2018), 2018 Jeep Compass, 2018 Kia Sportage, 2018 Mazda CX-5, 2018 Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross (none of Mitsu's SUVs are perfect fits for this segment, so we deemed the MEC the most competitive fit), 2018 Nissan Rogue, 2018 Subaru Forester, 2018 Toyota RAV4 and 2018 Volkswagen Tiguan. We can update this comparison as more information about 2019 models is released, most notably the Forester and RAV4. Now, there are certainly some models that are smaller (Nissan Rogue Sport) or larger (Kia Sorento) that could also be considered, but we figured it was wise to stick with those in this sweet spot of comparable size and price. We also included links to Autoblog reviews, buying guides and smaller comparisons. Engines and Transmissions With rare exception, this segment features four-cylinder power. Sometimes it's turbocharged, often its not, but standard engine outputs are generally in the same ballpark. Therefore, we'd recommend focusing on torque output, as it's what will make a difference around town or when passing, and weighing that versus fuel economy (the Chevy Equinox, GMC Terrain, Honda CR-V and Mazda CX-5 make particularly strong cases in this regard). Many drivers aren't too fond of continuously variable transmissions (CVT), either, so that's another thing to consider and note during a test drive. As you can see, several models are available with performance upgrades. Besides the Jeep Cherokee's available V6, all are more powerful turbocharged four-cylinder engines. The exception to this would be the Honda CR-V and Ford Escape, as their 1.5-liter turbo engines don't prioritize performance. Instead, they serve as overall upgrades to the base naturally aspirated engines standard on only their base trim levels (CR-V LX and Escape S).

GMC Acadia goes big again? Spy photos show next-gen prototype

Thu, Jul 7 2022

GMC is testing what looks a lot like a new full-size SUV, signaling the likelihood that it will return to full-size segment after the current generation has run its course. GM downsized the Acadia for the 2017 redesign, carving nearly 10 inches off its length and 3 inches from its girth. For the next generation, it appears that script will be aggressively flipped.  The hierarchy of GM's unibody family SUVs was already a bit wonky before the Acadia's 2017 redesign, and continues to be now. While it would be logical for the Chevrolet Traverse, GMC Acadia, Buick Enclave and Cadillac XT6 — all three-row crossovers — to be different skins on the same fundamental chassis, that's not actually the case. The Acadia is a full foot shorter than either the Traverse or Enclave, with the XT6 falling in between. Based on these photos, that will no longer be the case when the new GMC Acadia debuts. Since the current one went on sale in 2016 as a 2017 model, it's about due for a replacement.  We can't see much beyond basic proportions here, but those tell a clear story. It's pretty obvious that the hood on the prototype is wider and sits higher than on the current car, with perhaps less slope to the now-wider nose. We can also see the faintest impressions of creasing on the flanks, likely leading to the same broad, angular hip treatment present on the current car. Viewed side-by-side, we can see a little more front and rear overhang. There's no obvious hint of substantially longer wheelbase here (the rear doors line up almost perfectly), so we're probably looking at something that is wider but not necessarily much longer.  In any event, we shouldn't have to wait too long to find out exactly what GM has in store for its "Pro" brand.  Related video: This content is hosted by a third party. GM follows up Lambda CUV stop-sale with tire recall

Mon, Feb 9 2015

In late January, General Motors announced a stop-sale for about 6,281 examples of the 2015 Chevrolet Traverse, GMC Acadia and Buick Enclave because of the possibility for the treads cracking on their 18-inch Goodyear Fortera HL tires. At the time, GM said that this would also eventually lead to a safety campaign to repair the problem, and the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has just published those details. GM's recall covers 5,876 of the three Lambda platform crossovers to replace their tires. According to NHTSA, if the treads crack, there could be a loss of pressure and possible failure. Goodyear already announced its own recall of the tires after internal testing found small tread cracks. The company did not believe this was safety issue, but the problem did put the rubber out of compliance with federal laws. The business's safety campaign covered an estimated 48,512 tires. Of those, around 32,000 were reportedly made for GM to either be fitted to vehicles or sold as replacements. The remainder went to the aftermarket. Goodyear's portion of the recall is expected to begin around February 20. RECALL Subject : Tire Tread Cracking/FMVSS 110 Report Receipt Date: JAN 28, 2015 NHTSA Campaign Number: 15V044000 Component(s): TIRES Potential Number of Units Affected: 5,876 All Products Associated with this Recall Vehicle Make Model Model Year(s) BUICK ENCLAVE 2015 CHEVROLET TRAVERSE 2015 GMC ACADIA 2015 Details Manufacturer: General Motors LLC SUMMARY: General Motors LLC (GM) is recalling certain model year 2015 Buick Enclave vehicles manufactured December 9, 2014, to January 14, 2015, 2015 Chevrolet Traverse vehicles manufactured December 9, 2014, to January 20, 2015, and 2015 GMC Acadia vehicles manufactured December 9, 2014, to January 16, 2015, and all equipped with Goodyear P255/65R18 Fortera HL tires. These vehicles are equipped with tires that may experience tread cracking. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) No. 110, "Tire Selection and Rims and Motor Home/Recreation Vehicle Trailer Load Carrying Capacity Information for Motor Vehicles with a GVWR of 4,536 kilograms (10,000 pounds) or Less." CONSEQUENCE: If the tire treads crack, a loss of tire pressure and possible tire failure may result, increasing the risk of a crash. REMEDY: GM will notify owners, and dealers will replace the tires that were manufactured within a specific date range, free of charge.
