Ford F-100 Custom, Esso Shop Truck, Patina, 302 on 2040-cars
Columbia, South Carolina, United States
1972 Ford F-100 ESSO Shop Truck"Put A Tiger In Your Tank" This is a very reliable truck. The truck can be driven daily and handles Interstate Highways with ease. The truck has an excellent patina and turns heads everywhere where you go. This would make a great addition to any collection whether for nostalgia or to use as a driver. The exterior (Mallard Green) is still mostly original with subtle imperfections from its age, but the imperfections in the exterior is what makes this truck appeal to most. The bed is original and very solid but does have surface rust and few dents from use. The tail-gate does have one tiny rust hole in the exterior of the lower right hand corner. The only other through rust i have seen is a tiny pin hole in the lower corners of the door. The interior sheet metal was painted red at some point, and the seat cover is free from tears. The truck has new brakes (that work extremely well) and a new clutch. The tires are still in like new condition. All exterior lights work as they should. The 302 2v runs smooth, fires immediately, and idles with ease.

Tier 1 suppliers call GM the worst OEM to work with
Mon, 12 May 2014Among automakers with a big US presence, General Motors is the worst to work for, according to a new survey from Tier 1 automotive suppliers, conducted by Planning Perspectives, Inc.
The Detroit-based manufacturer, which has been under fire following the ignition switch recall and its accompanying scandal, finished behind six other automakers with big US manufacturing operations. Suppliers had issues with trust and communications, as well as intellectual property protection. GM was also the least likely to allow suppliers to raise their prices in the face of unexpected increases in material cost, all of which contributed to 55 percent of suppliers saying their relationship with GM was "poor to very poor."
GM's cross-town competitors didn't fare much better. Chrysler finished in fifth place, ahead of GM and behind Dearborn-based Ford, which was passed for third place this year by Nissan. Toyota took the top marks, while Honda captured second place.
Watch NASCAR racer Brad Keselowski do a burnout... in a hotel conference room
Fri, 08 Mar 2013A vast majority of hotels frown upon smoking inside the building these days, but Brad Keselowski doesn't follow the rules. During his introduction at the 2013 MiilerCoors Distribution Convention, the reigning NASCAR Sprint Cup champion smoked the tires of his Miller-sponsored Ford Fusion stock car, adding a pair of thick, black stripes to the carpeting of the Marriott World Center's conference room.
This definitely isn't a high-quality video, but it's the perfect vantage point to watch Keselowski lay down some rubber and receive a well-deserved standing ovation after pulling up in front of the crowd. Check out the short-but-sweet video posted below.
2015 Ford Mustang stars in bizarrely awesome '80s aerobics video
Wed, 30 Apr 2014For reasons we can't comprehend, here's a music video starring the all-new, 2015 Ford Mustang and a number of dancers dressed and styled in the most stereotypically 1980s way possible. The dancers then take part in a male-versus-female dance off. Again, we've no idea why it exists.
It's weird, and for the second time in two weeks, we're sat at our computer wondering, "What are we watching?" That said, it does show the new Mustang from a number of angles, and it's one of the first car-related YouTube videos we've seen that's available in a 4K, ultra-high-def stream.
