Ford Transit Connect Xlt Passenger/ Cargo Van 1owner! Extremely Nice Condition! on 2040-cars
Syracuse, New York, United States
|
2010 Ford Transit XLT van with with second seat passenger seating. A one owner van . This van is extremely nice condition for the miles. It runs, and drives very well and it looks great ,extremely clean inside. This van was owned by helping hands of New York and has always been maintained to New York state certification bylaws. This is the first time this vehicle is being offered for sale since it was new. It was traded in our local dealership for a new van. Everything seems to work great, the tires are in great condition all matching. Over all I would say this van is in better than average condition. This van can be used to drive the family around or quickly converted to a full cargo van ,very versatile. The only flaw is a small dent in the left front fender which you can see in the pictures the van shows no visible signs of rust or paintwork. The interior is extremely clean as well as the back cargo area. It looks more like a van that has much lower miles. We see a lot of these vans for sale with similar miles that look like they have been through a war this one is quite the opposite. Not only in the way it looks but in the way it drives as well. There was a specific type of lock on the drivers door that was removed before they traded it. The locking mechanisms still work with the key fobs. Please feel free to email any questions you might have or I can be reached on my personal cell phone at 315-436-196 Nick . By with confidence over 29 years in business. We make sure what we sell is road worthy and can be driven safely any where you might want to travel .We will be glad to assist with any rides from the airport or to help arrange transportation. Good luck bidding . Thank you.

Ford GT inspires objects for Milan furniture show [w/videos]
Tue, Apr 14 2015Can't get enough of the lines on the new Ford GT? Then Milan is the place to be this month. That's where Ford will be presenting a series of objects whose designs were penned by the same talents behind (and inspired by) the company's new supercar. Set to be presented at the Salone del Mobile furniture show in the Italian metropolis, the collection ranges from tables, chairs and light fixtures to a sailboat, foosball table and electric guitar. "We have an incredible amount of talent in our global design studios," said Ford's chief designer Moray Callum. "Salone del Mobile is the perfect forum to share some of that creativity, while also offering our designers an opportunity to get exposure to new ideas that will inspire future Ford design." In addition to these seemingly random objects, Ford has also partnered with architect Attilio Stocchi to create a special light exhibition entitled "Favillia, Every Light a Voice," similarly inspired by the new GT. But if your plans won't be taking you to Milan anytime soon, you can check them out in the images above and the videos and press release below. This content is hosted by a third party. 2014 Ford Fiesta gets fuel economy bump to 41 mpg
Fri, 07 Jun 2013The 2014 Ford Fiesta is in showrooms now with refreshed styling and new performance ST model, but it's what isn't yet available that should help the Fiesta stand out from the growing crowd of subcompacts. Aside from the new 1.0-liter EcoBoost model coming later this year, Ford recently told us that a new Fiesta SFE trim level is on the way that should put the updated Fiesta at the top of its class for fuel economy.
The new Fiesta SFE will hit an estimated 41 miles per gallon on the highway when equipped with the six-speed automatic transmission. The current listing on fueleconomy.gov shows the 2014 Fiesta getting up to 29 mpg city and 39 highway, but the SFE will get minor aero tuning and a recalibrated engine controller to help bump the highway figure past rivals like the Chevrolet Sonic and Nissan Versa - both of which top out at 40-mpg highway. There's still no word as to when the small 1.0-liter EcoBoost will show in the US, but Ford has indicated that engine's fuel economy isn't expected to be released until October.
This 2,000-hp Mustang is in serious need of wheelie bars
Tue, 25 Feb 2014The Ford Mustang on the right is drag racing with the standard technique. The Mustang on the left, driven by David Measell, is using a new "rear bumper only" technique that evidently surprised everyone at the South Georgia Motorsports Park strip - including Measell.
Measell said his outfit just bought the car the week before the event, noting that it has more than 2,000 horsepower. Speaking of his "flying" run, Measell said, "We turned it up to dip on down," by which he meant they turned up the power in order to get his time down. Turns out all that power and all that traction sent the nose straight up into the air almost as soon as the race began.
He told an interviewer afterward that this was his first race in a "regular car" since he normally drives a pro-mod. "I like my wheelie bars," he concluded. You can see how he got there in the video below.
